Nicolas opened his eyes. He looked around. He could not move. His hands and feet were bound with chains. He was suspended in the air. His hands and legs were spread to the four sides, his hands were chained from above and his feet were chained from below. Three men were standing in front of him. All three were wearing berets. They had old swords in their scabbards. Anyone who saw them would know they were bandits. Nicolas forced the chains. The chains shook, but they were firmly fixed in the cave. He couldn't get free. At the sound of the chains the bandits turned to Nicolas. Two bandits drew their swords.
One bandit, who looked like the leader, walked towards Nicolas with his hands behind his back. He took off his beret. His auburn hair was pulled back in a bun. "Nicolaaas, I am Kirad!" he said with a laugh. "I love you so much and I hope your father loves you as much as I do. When will he realize you're gone?"
"WHO ARE YOU??," Nicolas spat in Kirad's face.
Kirad backed away. He backed up so fast that the wind blew through the cave and the dust rose. The gray hooded bandit threw back his cloak and opened his arms. Between his body and his arms were throwable daggers on both sides. He took a dagger from the left side of his body with his right hand and one from the right side of his body with his left hand. He quickly threw them at Nicolas.
The daggers went tangent on either side of his neck and stuck into the wall of the cave. So fast that the creatures living in the cave started to make noise. There was a lot of noise in the cave. Because of the echo, the noise had increased four or five times.
Also, no one noticed, but there was a purple smoke coming out from the place where the daggers were stabbed.
