"There is no one to blame either," he said, scratching his head, trying to improve his own mood. Then he started writing something in his diary that he had recently started using.
"First of all, let's start with the name, of course! Javohir, yes. Not Japanese or American, making me not valuable even as a side character." Writing that, his mood worsened.
"I don't think my presence can be important as a 'main character,' even in my own story, but still, I enjoy living..."
Just as he started writing more, his mother called him "Javohir! breakfast is ready"
"I need to go earlier today. Bye-bye," he said quickly, sticking his head through the door in a rush without even entering the kitchen. His mother wasn't very talkative, but it seemed she wanted to say something. However, just as she began to speak, he was already gone.
"My phone!... There. My earphone!... There. Phone charger!... There..." He started walking, checking his pockets. After confirming he hadn't left anything, he put on a song through his earphones and started looking for the manga he'd recently been reading.
Loud music in his ears, a bright screen on his phone, and his mind focused on the manga's story, he ignored everything else in his sight as he walked toward school.
As his mind wandered to a different "dimension," he stopped by a garden on his usual route. Something felt strange... An odd, indescribable feeling crossed his mind. But then, "Every second I spend wondering 'why' could be spent reading one more word in the manga. Hahaha!" He tried to thicken his tone trying to mimic his favourite characters as He laughed at his own words.
After a 20-minute walk, he was already at the entrance of his school—a small, old building where the loud voices of students could be heard from quite a distance.
"Sigh, not even close to the window," he thought. Sitting far from the window made him even sadder, as he believed it was a sign of being a main character—a sign he lacked.
"Take this!" someone behind him said, kicking his legs to make him lose balance and fall face-first onto the ground as he even didn't try to react, falling loud and yet ignorant.
"Oh, sorry, it was just to cheer you up!" The culprit gave him a weird smile, offering a hand to help him up. Ignoring him, Javohir stood on his own, brushing off the dirt, and sat in his seat, which seemed isolated from the others.
Just after he sat down, the teacher entered and the lesson began. All Javohir took from his bag, however, were his earphones and his phone.
The school wasn't strict; in fact, it didn't feel like a school at all. Attendance was the only thing that seemed to matter—even to the teachers.
As he put on his earphones at maximum volume, he started watching anime loud enough for even the teachers to hear.
At this rate, all five periods ended, and he began packing his bag to leave. His mind overflowed with ideas, idle thoughts, questions, and even answers. In short, he wasn't in control of his thoughts at all. Yet, his face remained serious, his eyes focused intently on one point as he walked home.
He didn't like doing anything on his way home even listening to musics or reading novels that he liked most to do when he was free. He continued his walk as he did nothing but yet looking as he was deep in thoughts when his mind was a big mess. His walk continued Crossing that familiar path near the garden and suddenly he thought, "Why have I seen no one on this street ever?"
His own voice startled him, as he thought he'd only been thinking it. Ignoring the strange feeling again, he finally reached home and searched for his key even before checking if the door was locked.
He was right; the door was locked, and no one was home. His mood shifted suddenly. The serious expression gave way to a funny, wide smile spreading across his face.
