Chapter 1 - Prolog

Celestial—a city at the heart of the world's progress, a place where magic and science combine to create wonders. Its buildings towered, adorned with glowing runes that powered their technology. Its streets were always bustling, filled with scientists and wizards debating the latest discoveries, making this city an unrivaled center of civilization.

However, behind the hustle and bustle of Celestial, there was one corner that felt different—quieter, more peaceful. A small street lined with shady trees, sunlight filtering through the leaves, and the scent of flowers mixing with the wet soil created a very serene atmosphere. On the corner of the street, a small cafe stood, with red brick walls and wooden tables filled with customers enjoying their leisure time.

Among them, a boy ran excitedly, followed by a white dog that jumped up and down behind him.

"Haha! Come chase me, Noppi!" the boy shouted.

"WOOF! WOOF!" The dog barked happily, following his master's steps.

Not far from them, a woman smiled softly. "Key, don't go too far! I'll buy some food first."

"Yes, Mom!" Key replied as he continued running with Noppi.

That day felt so peaceful. A gentle breeze carried the sweet aroma of the bakery across the street. But that peace was suddenly disturbed.

Noppi stopped suddenly. His ears perked up, his tail dropped slightly, and his bark changed to a softer whisper, almost like a warning whisper.

"Hm? What's wrong, Noppi?" Key frowned, looking at his dog who was now walking slowly towards a narrow alley between two old buildings.

The alley was dark and damp, like a place that had never been touched by sunlight. The walls were covered in moss, and the air inside felt colder than the main street.

"Noppi, don't go in there!" Key whispered, but the dog kept walking, as if something was pulling him into the darkness.

Having no other choice, Key followed him. His steps hesitated, and the deeper he went, the more he felt the strange atmosphere—as if something was watching him from the shadows.

Then, a voice boomed from another direction.

"HAHAHAHA! I HAVE FOUND A NEW MAGIC!"

Key gasped. The voice came from inside a small bar at the end of the street.

"SERIOUSLY? WHAT MAGIC?" another voice said, sounding full of enthusiasm.

Curious, Key paused for a moment. But before he could decide whether to approach or turn back, Noppi barked again—louder this time.

And at that moment, something in the hallway moved.
