Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Hidden Library

The abandoned castle stood in eerie silence, its once-proud walls now covered in dust and ivy. It was a forgotten place, much like the boy who lived in it.

There was no warmth here, no voices to call his name. Only the occasional echo of footsteps—his own—as he wandered through the empty halls.

For as long as he could remember, he had lived here alone, except for a single old maid who had taken care of him. She was the only one who spoke to him kindly, the only one who made this place feel less empty. But she was gone now.

She had grown too old to work and left her position. The new maid, assigned in her place, was different. She came twice a day—once in the morning, once at night—to leave food and nothing more. No words. No warmth.

And so, the loneliness grew unbearable.

That was when his explorations began.

With no one to stop him, he roamed through the forgotten parts of the castle, pushing open doors that hadn't been touched in years. Today, his path led him to a large tree growing outside one of the smaller, crumbling buildings near the castle's edge.

Climbing trees had always been easy for him. It was something he did without thinking, a way to escape from the silence of the castle. He settled onto a sturdy branch, holding a book he had brought with him. But just as he turned a page—

Crack.

The branch snapped.

He plummeted through the air, his body twisting instinctively. The world blurred, then—

Crash!

He broke through a weak roof, landing in a pile of something soft. Dust filled his lungs as he coughed and pushed himself up. The air smelled of old paper and mold.

Books.

There were hundreds of them, scattered across the floor and stacked against the walls. This wasn't just an abandoned room. It was a hidden library.

His fingers traced the covers, brushing away dust. These books were strange—filled with symbols and unfamiliar letters. They weren't like the books he had read before. Some were barely holding together, their pages yellowed with age.

He read few pages and saw a similar style and the words which were beyond readable because of how badly it was written , the boy has read many books but this book's writer way writing was too crood but he also saw a similarity and took the book to his room and matched it with his mother's diary and the words were worse in the old book but the style of writing was identical and he knew that the only possible writer of the books in the library would have been his mother .

He was filled with curiosity about things that his mother would have written in those books and he started to spend almost his whole days in the old library and strangely he was not feeling lonely rather he was feeling like the books of his mother made him know something about her and how she was with full of Vitality if not she would have never written a roomful of books .

But there were many books which the boy was not able to decrypt may books as they were in strange symbols , he read his mother's diary to know more about the strange symbols and he was not able to find anything about he symbols but then one day after reorganising whole books there was something written in the old carpet above which the books were and that carpet also had the similar similar symbols which were in the way that the symbols pointed to the each basic letter of the kingdoms language and the boy realised that his mother must have done this to learn the kingdom's language and the strange symbols are his mother homeland language and then te boy also learnt the language of his motherland with the help of the carpet.

The books were like a treasure for the boy who becomes lonely in the big abandoned castle and the books did not make him feel lonely anymore and the books was full of foresighting knowledge which even a little boy could see and that made him curious about the homeland of his mother which taught her this many things which were also too advanced for the kingdom and he wished he would go there and knoe about he land where his mother was grown .
