Chapter 5 - Part 5.

Édua reluctantly went back to the living room, where most of the people were groping in the air to the rhythm of the music. The atmosphere became suffocating from the many people, the smell of sweat permeated the room. She went to the window to let in some fresh air, which suddenly hit her as soon as the window opened. Closing her eyes, she enjoyed the cool breeze that flowed in serenely, but after a few moments, she got the feeling that someone was watching her. She turned around and noticed her boss, who was sitting on the sofa examining her with furrowed brows. Édi just rolled her eyes and approached her sister to stop her from dancing. Moving her hips to the beat, she melted into the music, completely forgetting everything that was going on around her.

- Hello! Earth is calling Édua! - shouted Gréta over the music, while lightly pulling her sister's hand. Édua was awakened by her sister's voice as if she had been pulled out of a dream - Come play dare or dare. We play together in my room - her sister told her as she pulled her into her own room.

There were four of them sitting on the floor in Turkish seats, including Marcell. Édua groaned and sighed, she knew very well that it would not be good if she was involved in the game. Apart from her, there were two other guys who she didn't know, but they didn't look bad - but not as good as Marci - and a girl called Dóri, with whom Gréti used to go to parties. With a bitter taste in her mouth, Édi also sat down with her sister. Dóri started the game by spinning the bottle placed in the middle, which immediately selected Édua as her first victim.

- Hmm..what can I ask? - Dóri scratched her chin. - When was the last time you were with a guy? - she pulled her eyebrows coquettishly.

- I don't know, maybe it was a month ago - she thought about the question, because she didn't know exactly.

The others greeted her answer with soft giggles, but said nothing. The question wasn't that interesting. Anyway, the game is played a little differently than it should be, they don't ask who they want to be - the one who spins the bottle chooses what they wants to do. Édua took the bottle and twirled it as much as she could and pointed to where she really wanted, Marci became the next chosen one. Now you can finally tell him by burning him in front of the others. She had never teased anyone on purpose since she was alive, but she wanted to break this man's horns at all costs.

- Can't you wear anything but black? You're as boring as a little gray mouse - by the end of her sentence, her voice was dripping from the contempt and mockery that the man elicited from her.

Marcell looked deeply into Édua's eyes with raised eyebrows and answered her question with a grin.

- Some people don't need to wear more colors to stand out from the crowd. If you think so, I'll give you some advice on what makes you interesting - Marci decided to get involved in Édua's little teasing, he wouldn't have admitted it, but in fact, he even enjoyed her sparring.

Everyone laughed at the answer, and Édi could not spit or swallow. She didn't expect the man's sharp retort, so she couldn't prepare for an answer.

Annoyed, she looked away from the man, though she noted to herself that she was a little amused by his duel with Marci. They continued the game, they gave each other funnier - funnier tasks, which they had fun with. For example, one of the guys, whose name is Patrik, had to open the window and flash his light, which one of the neighbors said loudly while he was walking his dog. Everyone had a good laugh at the event, then they talked about how absurd it is that someone takes their dog down so late. Marci was spinning when he pointed the bottle towards Édua. The girl swallowed hard, she didn't know what to expect from him after that.

- Kiss someone in the room - he stated firmly, secretly hoping that she would choose him, although he knew the chances of that happening were slim.

Édua sighed heavily, then looked around to decide who to choose. Everyone raised their heads seductively when they looked up at her, only Marcell kept a neutral face. He was sure that she would not choose him, then he would surely listen to her until he died.

Finally, her eyes caught on Patrik, and she got up from the ground with a determined movement to go to him. When the boy noticed that the girl had chosen him, he also stood up, excitedly waiting for the kiss. He liked Édua for a long time, but she didn't even know about his existence, although he didn't blame her because they only met at parties.

When Édi got to the guy, she didn't hesitate, she grabbed him by the neck of his T-shirt and pulled him to her so that she wouldn't have to stand on tiptoe. She breathed a slow, soft kiss on Patrik's lips, but after a few moments they switched to a faster rhythm. The boy's soft lips made her forget where he and Édi were at the moment, when she regained consciousness, she quickly ended the kiss. Panting, they parted from each other, confusedly looking around at the others who were just watching them with open mouths.

Except for one person, Marci's angry eyes almost threw sparks towards Édua, which she counted as a success as she sat back in her seat. They played a little longer, then went back to drink and dance some more.

Édi was able to dance with her sister for about ten minutes, when Marcell joined them. The girl tried not to notice the man, but he suddenly came closer to her and put both hands on her waist, and they danced on.

- I didn't think that your legs were as graceful as an ostrich while dancing - Édua noted, leaning into the man's ear, which was not true, since she really liked the guy while he was dancing. He really moved gracefully and not like an ostrich, but he didn't need to know that.

- And you dressed as a fox with a pinned tail, or is that your usual style? - retorted Marci with an annoyingly wide grin.

- I was just trying to keep up with your sophisticated style - Édua finally laughed, unable to hold back her wistful laughter.
