1. The Nightingales:
The women working at the inn, the Nightingales, are not just beautiful—they're almost unnervingly perfect, with an ethereal quality that makes guests feel both attracted and uneasy. Their role is to lure cheating men further into the inn's trap, using their beauty and charm to weaken the men's resolve. They might have powers to manipulate men's emotions or even cause hallucinations to keep them from leaving. Though they appear to be alluring they are dead inside, bound to the inn by Veronica. They were once mistresses themselves, now cursed to serve as part of Veronica's vengeful mission.
2. The Everlings (Prodotto del peccato— Product of sin)
The cleaners, bellhops and workers, the chubby old toddlers. They are the ghosts of children born from affairs. Each Everling age undergoing voice changes and puberty but they retain their short toddler form and only have wrinkled skin and grey hair.
3. The Eerie Room:
The Eerie Room where the ghosts of cheating men and their mistresses who don't become Nightingales are kept in jars for three months before the Grim Reaper comes for them. It's hidden and forbidden to just Veronica and the Grim Reaper alone.
4. The Grim Reaper:
As the mastermind behind the system, the Grim Reaper uses the inn as his collection ground. He's cold, calculating, and possibly enjoys watching humans struggle with their own vices. He's the chief controller of the Inn's activities.
5. The Inn's Red, Gold, and White Interiors:
The contrast of these three colors symbolize the duality of the inn—beauty and danger, lust and purity, life and death. Red for passion and violence, gold for luxury and greed, and white for the cold, sterile feeling of death lurking beneath the surface.
