Welcome Princess Pens of Adils family. I stood up and all eyes were on me, I was nervous but I remembered my mother's words ' you are our way out of this, you can let anyone trample on you' this only made me more nervous, I walked down the stage and I was look like a rat dreached in water. I closed my eyes and when I opened them, I met his caramel looking curious eyes looking at me, it was as though he understood what I was feeling inside of me. Hafs gave me a big smile and that very moment I felt butterflies surging inside my stomach. I stood still, took a deep breath and I focused only on his face as I recite ' The Royal Wingman'
The Royal Wingman
Your wings has sheltered the kingdom
Your wings has protected the throne
O ye wingman how do I repay
Thee effort, thee yielded plans
The Royal Wingman
Thy sayth give me my steeled coat
I'll fight thy enemies
Cast away these disgraceful robes
I will slay thy mockers
Thou know'st little of my wrong
Regardless thou loved me
My Royal Wingman
Glory is like a circle in the water
Thou with an eagle art inspired then
Thou art no friend to anyone against thy king
If wind and fuel be needed thou shall find
Thou are contented
Thy wings has guided everyone
My Royal Wingman
What shall I do
Without you
And that moment, Hafs stood up and applauded me, everyone including the king was surprised because he didn't look like he was enjoying the celebration, I was wondering why he did that but I knew he thought he had found his royal wingman, has he? I wasn't sure if he has but I know he has found himself a queen.
The celebration was a good one for my family because I got the golden ticket, but for me it was the best because I met Mine.
The whole time my mother and the queen kept a distance from each other. No one knew why, whispers and rumours said it was because my mother had a girl child, others said my family covet the throne for themselves. I don't know which one to believe nor do I care. I just want to spend more time with Hafs and play all day in the palace walls.
The king called my dad inside to have a personal conversation, all I knew was when I got home, I was never allowed to step out of the house except one night every six months.
What did I do to deserve this I do not know but I will definitely find out in few years to come.
