"I GOT YOU TWO!"
The shadow shattered into small dark crystals as it got smashed with the mace from behind, it would've been a beautiful sight if there wasn't a Berserker under them about to crush their skulls.
"Eizit, do anything!"
Eizit nodded, jumping off the platform right before it crumbled to pieces, pulling Azael back and moving away from the wall. The Berserker swung his free arm trying to grab Azael, but Eizit moved the latter out of the way.
"Shit!"
Eizit cursed as him, Azael and the Berserker started falling down. There was only one thing he could do, but he didn't want to do it, it'll hurt!
"For god's sake, Eizit, do it!"
"Fuck!"
Eizit's legs exploded, creating a beautiful explosion that could probably be seen from the other side of the kingdom. Both him and Azael, whose arm Eizit was grabbing, got propulsed over the wall.
The Berserker grinned his teeth, punching the wall in rage multiple times. Whether he survived to the fall or not, Eizit and Azael couldn't know. As they had moved over the walls and therefore couldn't see the inside side anymore.
"There's just a little problem now, landing!"
"Use your shadows or something! I'm dying in pain!"
"Okay, okay!"
Azael tried to control the shadows, however, he didn't seem to be able to. Eizit and him kept getting closer and closer to the ground.
"Dude, at his rate we will crash against the grass!"
"It's not as easy to control shadows when you're in a high stress situation!"
They got even closer to the ground, and just when they were going to crash against it something appeared behind them, allowing them to slide down safely. It was a shadow, Azael had managed to control it on the last second.
"Phew, that was close"
"Dude, your legs"
"I-i know, it's painful as fuck"
"Will they grow up?"
"Yes, just give it some time..."
The missing legs suddenly popped back up, they had been restored. Eizit was getting tired of this star, the power could seem cool at first, but exploding one's body wasn't specially enjoyable, it hurt a lot. At least the body reconstructed itself just fine.
"It must be... Painful"
"More painful would've been to die"
"Fair... Anyways, let's get going"
"In which direction are the Ironguard mountains?"
"Uhh I think it was in the north, in between the Holy Grounds and the Bloody Badlands."
"Makes sense, it's a neutral kingdom, so it set itself in between both major forces..."
"Yeah, I heard some adventurers mention it a couple days ago... Where are we right now?"
"To the east of the Kingdom of Chamuel, if we walk towards the north-east we should arrive in 2 weeks."
"2 weeks? That's a lot, the Berserker will get to us... Plus we need to eat and stuff, do you have food for 2 weeks?"
"No, but we can hunt some animals and then make a fire with my star, I guess. We cook the animals and therefore have some food."
"Don't you have any idea that doesn't include partially combusting as a requisite?"
Eizit sighed, it was true that exploding didn't feel like such a good idea, but what else could they do? They couldn't log off Spiegel if they weren't in a Safe Zone, so they had to go over to the Ironguard Mountains. This meant that the only option was to start moving now, and start moving fast. The longer they took to start moving the closer the Berserker would be from getting to them.
"What other options do we have? Going back in for food is not an option, and if we take too long to leave the Berserker will get us"
Azael sighed, Eizit was right. He looked at the sun, then towards the left, in between. That was the north-east. He started walking.
"Let's go then, we mustn't lose any time. As you said."
Eizit nodded, following him. Both of them disappeared into the distance, walking inside a deep forest with tall trees.

Back inside the Kingdom of Chamuel, after Eizit and Azael managed to go over the wall, the Berserker grinned his teeth. Punching the wall aggresively to get rid of his rage, for losing them twice.
It didn't take him long to notice he was actually falling to the ground, and therefore he punched the wall one more time. The difference was that this time he sunk his hand on it, slowing down the fall as he reached the ground.
Once in the ground, he shook his hand, it was tainted in blood from sliding down a stone brick wall.
"I swear to god I'm going to get these kids!"
The Berserker's rage suddenly disappeared, transforming into fear as a cold shiver ran down his spine, he could feel a gaze fixed on him. From the shadows appeared a mysterious man.
The man was tall, about 180 centimeters (5'10), his presence was intimidating. However, it wasn't the same kind of intimidating presence that the Berserker had, the truck-built guy's intimidation was based on his muscular and aggressive appearance.
In contrast with his, the mysterious man intimidating presence came from that same mystery surrounding him, he gave off an aura of someone who was 10 times smarter than you, and that would make sure to make you feel the dumbest most insignificant ant if it was necessary.
The man was also offsetting, unlike most of the people in Spiegel he didn't wear medieval armor or clothes, he wore a suit. A simple but well cared suit. He looked like a gentleman. A black suit with silver buttons and a golden letters on his chest, it read 'Genius'... It wasn't really clear if this guy was egoistic or just cocky. His trousers were dark as well, with a silver belt and button, beautifully adorned with golden details. Lastly, he wore a hat, a typical gentleman hat. It was black with golden details, following the same design as his suit and trousers.
The man had black leather shoes, finishing off his gentleman vibe. His hair was black, long, with the tip of his ears poking out of it, he was an elf. His eyes were hidden under his offsetting mask, a mask that resembled a black spiral with slight grey marks... It was like a blackhole.
Looking at the mask was like trying to gaze into the void, it would make anyone feel lost.
The mysterious man spoke, gently, with a slight ironic tone resonating through his words.
"Well... Seems like your name doesn't really fit you, Navi..."
Navi can have multiple connotations, however, the one the void man was refering to was 'bearer of good news'.
"I-I'm sorry sir! They were too fast!"
Void-man, as I'll be referring him as for the following chapters, gazed again at the Berserker. Navi couldn't do anything but feel petrified as the mysterious man intimidated him.
"Then you better get going right now. Live up for the meaning of your name... Navi."
Navi nodded nervously, looking around as to where to leave the Kingdom through. The mysterious man harrumphed in order to gain the Navi's attention again.
The Berserker approached him. Void-man placed his hand on his shoulder and activated his first star's effect, making Navi levitate.
"Go, don't let them escape."
"Yes, sir, I won't fail you twice!"
"You better not..."
Navi levitated over the wall, seeing both Azael and Eizit enter a forest in the distance, he knew where to go.

"Do you think we lost him?"
"I don't know, he probably didn't work alone... There was someone using illusions."
"Yeah, and your explosion probably made that person notice us"
"Yeah, we gotta be cautious"
