The princes decided among themselves that the kingdom would be divided into two parts. Now king Eden was left with a few towns and villages along with a mountain while King Edger occupied a greater number of towns and villages along with a river. The two kingdoms were separated by the wilderness of a forest.
Generations passed and all these happenings became common people's tales. Life went on like nothing had happened except in the royal families where these ominous events are kept secret. To reclaim peace between the two kingdoms, the kings decided on the marriage alliance between Princess Eva of Adenoger, the descendant of King Edger, and Prince Arthur of Ednont, descendent of King Eden.
Kingdom of Lamadon declared war on Ednont during the discussion of the marriage alliance. King Armond of Ednont sent Prince Arthur to control the situation at Lamadon.
A gem like Prince Arthur in swordsmanship was rare to find. In nearly eleven days under his command the enemies were being subdued. Unbeknownst to all, at night Prince Arthur would transform into a wolf in his little camp.
On the night of their victory, a werewolf caught the eye of the soldiers in the camp. They surrounded it and gashed numerous wounds into its furry body. Little did they notice the absence of prince Arthur from his camp. After the wolf was chase away, the gate keeper of the prince realized that he was missing. All that was left were his clothes and his weapons. Everybody assumed the prince was dead, killed by the wolf.
The next morning the remaining soldiers set off their journey to the capital of Adenoger to deliver the news of the prince's tragic death. Somewhere else, deep in the Woods of Adenoger, a beautiful maiden was on her way to the river at the border of Ednont. In her hand she had a basket to collect fish from the river. In the attire of a village girl, long brown hair neatly braided and tied with a clean white ribbon, she looked radiant. She spotted something moving at a distance. Deciding to approach it she started walking barefoot. What she saw caught her off guard. A young man, all bare from head to toe, covered with wounds and blood.
It was evening when the man finally opened his eyes. The place looked unfamiliar but where he was lying was cozy and comfortable. What really made him curious about the place was the roof made off bamboo. He looked around himself and found out that the entire house was made of tree trunk and bamboo.
He looked at his arms. All covered in fine cloth and the wounds treated and dressed. Trying to get up, he heard a voice. A woman's voice.
"Don't move or the dressings will tear off."
The lady entered with a bowl in her hand, sat by his side and started feeding him with a spoon. The girl broke the silence.
"I won't ask you how you ended up in the state I found you but what I will ask is your identity."
"I am Pri- pretty curious about yours too. I am Arthur, and you?"
"I am Athena."
