Chapter 3 - 3

Kandar and Kyle walked off in the street, after he informed Kandar to stay down and listen to him for a few minutes. At the road Kyle asked him while smoking, "Leashed or not leashed, there's no difference, at least not in here." Spoken wise, to the younger man who probably lost all his grasps.

Kandar's arms crossed. And his chest heaved from breathing, a cig from Kyle's pack in between his lips. Kandar didn't look at him, and keep walks beside him in the road, he takes a drag from his cig, and blow it slowly, peacefully. As he staring emptily to the road ahead, he responds quietly.

"I bound to kill a man, and I realize. My cash come from killing, I always told myself this." Kandar paused, and looking at the dirty road and the pot across the street. He stopped his walks and looks at Kyle, with serious and tired face. "If I didn't enjoy it, I'm not staying."

Kyle snort upon hearing him, and smirk faintly. Theirs steps continues walking toward the Krill's Barn. Along the ways Kyle's hand slide to his pocket to take out his battered handkerchief, the sun above is hotter than their ex-girlfriends, as Kyle wash off the sweat from his face, he spoke to Kandar.

"Didn't enjoy killing you said? Huh, what's difference between hunting a man and animal? You hunt a deer like breathing." Kandar's lips smirked a bit, he chuckling exasperatedly tired and shook his head slowly while takin a drag of his cig, as he listens Kyle's sarcastic question. They pass the crowded market across them, stall and pall, containers and bucket full of fresh foods.

"Animal are difference, human are complex. Hunting animal didn't give me the same problems like assassinate a man in his room while snoring." Said Kandar gently while blowing a smoke peacefully. The wind drags theirs smokes behind as they keep walking toward their end. But Kyle hadn't his fill teasing Kandar, he goes respond to Kandar's responds with a smirk and his tone was bit of mockery, poking fun at him.

"Sound double standards to me mate, if they feel pain, therefore; we are the same, aren't we?" Kandar heard him, he heard Kyle's chuckle and he failed miserably to hide his idiot grin. Kandar grin back while he rubbing his forehead and chuckling.

"Double standards? No, it's not, its complex." Kandar's respond to Kyle's teases. The tease back and forth, teasing along the ways, and ended by:

Kyle Romphet: "Human are arrogant mate, they dictate the norms and rules for themselves. Others left behind, take a look over our government, their laws and rules over the decades does not benefit two sides. Example… absolute power led to absolute corruption, those men in suit and job in the council was already powerful, as they apply and sign more order. We the poor bastards in poor town became poor and poorer by each year, we pay taxes and they eat it all. No reasoning to pay taxes here, we are the deer meat and they eat happily."
