A large sound recreated throughout the cave as the explosion shot me backwards. Just before i hit the ground , the mage behind me used her magic to slow me down.
Right now we were in a dark cave illuminated by the fire light of the mage behind me. There's only one word i ever use to describe her- Sexy.
She wore a red and pink witches outfit with a matching hat and held a magical lamp in 1 hand and a wooden staff in the other. Her dress showed ample cleavage and was tight on her curves. This is her first mission with me, but i'm definitely going to tap that sooner or later, anyways back to the fight.
Right now we were on a quest in a cave based dungeon. Explosive slimes, those were our enemies. They have special jelly with gunpowder dissolved in it. if you hit it with too much power it blows.
" get back here, let me try something"
Elaina ordered me and i retreated to her. Right now jellies we're gliding towards us in rows. Suddenly her staff glowed a firey red hue and next second a huge fireball shot towards the jellies.
Wait what? FIREBALL? she's going to ignite them on purpose? that'll blow up the whole cave
"What the-"
But before I could finish, a suddenly green shield appeared infront of me. She had cast a shield charm on both of us but even then, I saw this was extremely risky.
[BOOOOOOOOMMMM]
with a ear hurting noise, the fireball met the jellies and a giagantix explosion occurred. The whole cave shook and all the stalagmites from the ceiling fell on top of us. Each of them crashed against the green shield. The ground vibrated so much i fell to the ground.
Along with the the stalagmites, dust and chunks of rock also fell on top of the shield so much that it was now impossible to see what was going on outside. It was completely dark inside the shield except for the lamp that Elaina placed on the ground.
"Uh Oh…. i'm sorry"
Elaina put her hands together and bowed apologitically. I was rather mad but since she seemed to regret it i guess i'll cool down for now. I took a peak at her breasts when she bowed, they looked very nice.
" is this your first mission?"
"yes, pls don't scold me"
She had a weak voice and seemed to really fear punishment. i signed internally, it was rather normal for the guild master to assign me with noobs. She said i was a 'good teacher', how bothersome.
"Alright for now, let's just understand the situation"
the blackness of the cave rock and the green of the shield created a dark green color.
" how long can you hold the shield for?"
" i have enough mama left for 2 hours"
"2 hours huh"
this is going to be tricky. My name is Alex and i'm a swordsman . A dual katana user to be exact. My height is 5'9 and i'm 26 years old.
my preferred armor is a grey colored full body suit along with specially enchanted black boots and an enchanted red coat.
Elaina suddenly wiped some sweat from her forehead and took off her black cloak. beneath it was a tight red witch's dress.
"We may not have enough oxygen for 2 hours though"
Elaina stated another thought that came to her mind. She seemed anxious but tried her best to keep her cool.she started drawing deep breaths. Noobs are always scared on their first mission. Now that i think about it, i was terrified when it was my time.
I sat down on the ground and crossed my legs. i took a deep breath and cleared my mind. Being an experienced adventurer, i knew becoming emotional wouldn't benefit me, i needed to close my mind and a solution will naturally come to me. I meditated in silence
for 10 minutes while the only sound was Elaina's deep breaths.
Bingo, just got an idea.
"Elaina?"
"Yes?" She timidly replied.
" Can you open a small hole in your shield?"
"A small h-hole? But then dust would leak thorough"
" I know just trust me, a really small hole"
"ah okay"
she did as i instructed and made a small hole in her shield. Dust from rocks came
through as well a few pebbles although this wasn't that much of a problem since it was so little.
I put my hand through the hole. i could only fit my fingers through until i felt a cold rough sensation that meant rock. Then i used my telekinetic powers on the boulders. I didn't budge at all because all the boulders were interlocked. I was going to have to take this 1 pebble at a time. Slowly but surely i shifted each pebble after another out of the interlocked boulders.
"H-huh? it's working?"
Elaina ,who had been sweating till now, finally looked at my the rocks with a look of relief on her face. She could go home now and everything would be okay. Well that is, if i manage to get the bigger rocks sorted. They proved to be a lot harder than the smaller ones but hopefully my experience of playing block games as a kid will help me here.
with a final crashing noise all the boulders had been removed.Elaina dropped the shield as a smile broke out on her face
"Thank you so much sir, i'm really sorry for the trouble"
"sir? how old are you?"
" oh i'm 19 sir"
Should i let her keep calling me sir? Perhaps she'll be attracted to me as an older man? No i think senior is fine for now
" in that case, just call me senior Alex from now on"
" Yes, senior Alex " she beamed
i looked around to see the remains of the jelly. Although it was hard to cause of the rocks everywhere. The cave had become a complete mess. This is gonna be a lot of paperwork.
