Two months passed in this new world—a place filled with " hunters." They are powerful by this world's standards, but still far beneath me.
This world is strange. They have "gates," portals that demons use to infiltrate their lands. Humans, these hunters, enter the gates to stop them. It's almost amusing how they believe they're protecting their world.
To blend in, I've hidden my true power, suppressing my aura to appear ordinary. Diablo, of course, follows suit, loyal as ever.

"Woon," I greeted the boy who had shown me kindness when I first arrived.
"Will you go to the city today to register as a hunter?" Woon's voice was laced with sadness.
"Yes," I replied, "but don't worry. I'll come back for you sometime."
Diablo appeared beside me. "Master Zero, it's time to go."
We set off toward Lexia, the grand city teeming with life—and the so-called S-rank hunters. The city buzzed with activity, its towering structures reaching for the sky. This was also where many gates appeared, drawing hunters from all over.
"Master, we've reached the Hunter's Guild," Diablo said, gesturing toward an imposing building.
