As Ares stood up, Sylphir analyzed his body and noticed that he was still in perfect condition. His strength and defense remained intact. However, Sylphir understood why the knight could easily dodge his attacks—it was due to the Soul Vision Spirit.
Without wasting a second, the knight Onion immediately charged toward Magnus, targeting the weak humans. To him, the weak had no place in this world and needed to be eliminated.
"No way that will happen again, you monster!" Ares cursed at the knight before stepping in to defend Magnus.
But before their weapons clashed again, the knight faked his charge and suddenly stopped in nowhere. Ares was clueless about what was happening. Instead, the Onion Knight raised his right hand, positioning himself as if he were about to summon something.
Above them, a rumbling sound echoed through the sky, accompanied by flashes of lightning. Ares immediately realized that this was no ordinary thunder. Sensing the danger, he quickly grabbed Magnus and barely managed to evade the lightning strike that came crashing down upon their position.
"Brother, I'm okay now. You can focus," Magnus said, smiling at Ares. His body had fully recovered from his wounds.
"Are you sure?" Ares asked.
"Yes, brother," Magnus reassured him.
However, Ares's eyes still held a hint of concern as he gently put Magnus down.
As Ares focused on fighting back against the Onion Knight, Magnus felt something stir deep within him. Since he had held the lightning spear earlier, something inside him had raged.
Just as he reached for the spear that had been knocked away, the Onion Knight suddenly struck at him. Before he could take a fatal blow, Magnus instinctively deflected the attack. His heart pounded loudly in his chest, his eyes widening in shock—he had no idea how he had done it. Was it instinct?
"Magnus!" Ares shouted as the knight rushed past him. But when he turned his head, his eyes widened in surprise—Magnus was holding his ground against the knight. Ares stood there, dumbfounded.
Magnus's spear rumbled as lightning crackled around it, coating the weapon in raw energy. Gripping it tightly, he grinned in amusement, his eyes gleaming with excitement.
But before he could act, the knight raised his other hand, preparing to unleash a relentless onslaught. Sensing the danger, Ares immediately hurled his dagger at the knight, controlling its trajectory with his Void Manipulation. The dagger struck true, cracking the knight's head armor and forcing him to retreat a few steps.
Ares quickly turned to Magnus, his voice filled with anxiety. "What happened? How could you do that?"
Magnus, his forehead damp with sweat, shook his head in confusion. "I don't know either, brother. But before the knight could hit me, my body moved on its own."
Before Ares could respond, Sylphir's voice suddenly echoed out of nowhere.
"Wow, I didn't know… I mean, I saw it earlier, but I didn't expect this," Ares thought.
"Before you start celebrating, focus on your enemy, you fool. Getting excited over such a small thing—are you a child?" Sylphir muttered her voice low.
"What did you say?" Ares asked, dumbfounded, not having heard her completely.
Sylphir finally pieced together what she had been pondering for a while.
"Hey, human! I know how you can defeat that thing."
"Who?" Ares asked, clueless.
"You fool! Your enemy—the knight!" Sylphir snapped, her voice filled with anger and irritation.
"Really?" Ares grinned in amusement.
"Yes. So listen carefully and don't make any mistakes."
Hearing this, Ares immediately refocused on the knight, Orion, while attentively listening to Sylphir.
"First, we need to crush that bastard's armor. Without it, you can finish him off completely."
Hearing Sylphir's words, Ares's spirit surged with determination and motivation. He grinned while locking eyes with the knight.
Without hesitation, he activated his Spirit passive ability and allocated points to his attack.
"Convert 1000 points to attack," he murmured.
His weapon glowed for a few seconds. This time, he had a plan to use his power wisely. Secretly, he purchased a Flarebomb from the store before dashing toward the knight.
The knight remained motionless for a moment but suddenly launched himself forward, meeting Ares head-on. Using Skybreaker Dash, he moved like a bolt of lightning. Ares countered with his Phantom Step, and once again, their weapons clashed. Sparks flew as their blades ground against each other, but this time, Ares's overwhelming strength forced the knight to stagger back by a few inches—just enough space for Ares to use his Flarebomb.
In an instant, the battlefield was engulfed in blinding light. Everyone was momentarily blinded, but Ares had prepared for this. He swiftly covered his eyes with a special item that shielded him from the flash.
As the light began to fade, the knight instinctively reached for his helmet, but instead of gripping his armor, he felt the cold, bare surface of his blue, frostbitten skin.
A sudden notification appeared, indicating a change in the knight's form. With his armor shattered, he had transformed into a Frostbound Titan.
Ares stood frozen, staring at the grotesque figure before him, his face filled with disgust. Magnus, equally bewildered, took a step back.
"What the hell is that? Isn't that a Titan?" Magnus asked, his voice filled with confusion.
Sylphir murmured as if she had expected this outcome.
"I knew it… I had my doubts at first, wondering if the Elemental would change the Guardian of the Fragment. But instead, they buffed it," sylphir said.
She then raised her voice with urgency. "Now, crush his armor completely! Swing your sword with all your might! Once his armor is shattered, all that Titan will be able to do is run!" Her voice was filled with determination.
Ares immediately launched another attack on the knight. Sliding across the ground, he struck at the knight's armor with three swift slashes.
Slash! Slash! Slit!
In just three instant attacks, the knight's armor began to break—it was only one strike away from being completely destroyed. But before Ares could land the final blow, the Titan instinctively backed off.
And Sylphir had a plan—she had anticipated this outcome. She laughed secretly.
