In The United States, Chris Alden was sitting on the side of his bed, reading through pages and pages of manga. He is and has always been an anime fanatic ever since stumbling across it. The 18-year old boy rarely got along with others very well due to his introverted and dull personality, which is why he found comfort in reading by himself.

This evening, however, was not anything short of bizarre. As the freshly grown young adult closed the manga and put it down on the table next to him, he got strange tingly feeling. Like something was trying to reach towards him from far away. Brushing it off as nothing to worry about, Chris decided to get some snacks from the fridge downstairs.
