Chereads / Fallen Star Angel / Chapter 20 - A world without her

Chapter 20 - A world without her

The celestial heavens were vast, infinite—yet for the first time, they felt unbearably small to Leon.

He had fought for years, traveled across realms, battled fallen ones, and upheld the celestial order. But none of it mattered.

Not when the only thing that ever truly mattered… was gone.

Yet even as he stood at the gates of eternity, the weight of Raziel's words haunted him.

"She has been reborn."

"She has no past, no name, no trace of the soul you once knew."

"Even if you stand before her, she will not know your name."

But deep inside, Leon knew one thing.

It didn't matter.

He would find her.

Even if she no longer knew him.

Even if the heavens erased her past.

Even if fate itself conspired against him.

Somewhere in the world… she was waiting.

And no god, angel, or fallen would stop him from reaching her.

Victor's Journey into the Unknown

Victor had never believed in fate.

He believed in power. In taking what was his.

So when the hooded figure led him into the abyss, he did not hesitate.

The darkness swallowed him whole, and the further he walked, the heavier the air became. He was stepping beyond the natural laws of the universe.

"She has been erased from the records of Heaven."

"She has been hidden from the sight of angels and the fallen alike."

"But there is always a way to break the rules of the divine."

Victor's red eyes glowed in the shadows.

"Tell me what I must do."

The figure let out a slow, amused breath.

"Patience, Victor. The game has only begun."

And in that moment, Victor knew—this was no longer a search.

This was a war.

A Normal Life… Or So It Seemed

Somewhere far from celestial conflicts, in a quiet city untouched by fate…

A girl sat by a grand piano, her delicate fingers gliding effortlessly over the keys.

Her music was haunting, yet beautiful.

She did not know why, but whenever she played, she felt something deep inside her stirring.

Something… missing.

Her name was Emilia.

She had never met Leon.

She had never known Victor.

She had never heard of angels or fallen.

And yet, as she played… she felt as if someone was calling to her.

Something deep in her soul whispered:

"Remember."

But there was nothing to remember.

So she closed her eyes, let out a deep breath, and let the melody fade into silence.

The story was just about to beguin.....
