She woke up from the sound of the phone annoyed she quickly got out of her bed as she picked up the phone ready to yell furiously at the person who was calling her at this hour as she picked up she was welcomed by scolding by her mother demanding the reason why she she didn't inform her of her arrival into the country she just hayley just kept quiet waiting for her to finish.
After she finally calmed down hayley just calmly said "good to see you too". Her mother stunned for words wanted to continue but she cut her off "I had a long flight you don't expect me to come straight to the mansion, I fell asleep immediately after eating"
Her mother continued "but still you could have at least called" hayley checking ner freshly painted nails nonchalantly answered " it skipped my mind" her mother then sighed obviously tired of her own daughter "you know what come over to the mansion let's have lunch together" hayley replied with a hum knowing her mother would continue if she had not agreed.
In the grey mansion
Hayley walked walked into the dining room every thing in there screamed rich anyone who entered the mansion would gasped in awe well the grey family was one of the most influential family in los Angeles so it wouldn't really surprise you to see such extravagance. While the place was stunning hayley barely bat an eye as she just headed straight to the table which had already been set she walked up to a woman in her early forties despite being in her early forties one could mistake her for a person in tier early thirties. One could clearly see where she got her good looks from she had a short brown hair and brown eyes which accentuated her petite face.
She was Hayley's ey's mother and right next to her sat a man probably also in his late forties as strands of white hair were on his head not much but visible. Hayley took large strides as she sat of the chair while greeting her parents curtly.
The tense air made it obvious that they weren't all that close as family her food was served as she started eating without sparing them so single glance.
The sound of cutlery and a tense atmosphere dominated the room the atmosphere was so tense that you would be wondering how they breathe but none of the parties seem shaken until Hayley's mother decided to break the silence. "so when are you planning on getting married" she asked not taking her eyes away from her food.
