Synopsis
Truth Truth is a bitter, harsh reality— sought only when absolutely necessary. If it were up to most, they’d choose to live within lies. The best lies carry a sliver of truth, enough to make them believable. Death Much like truth, death is rarely desired. Only those weary of life seek it out. But for many, it feels like a curse— a curse they long to break. Immortality A sweet lie that countless souls chase. Yet death, with its bitter truth, has claws that may be delayed but never denied. In the end, death is the truth that all living beings shall acknowledge whether one wants or not…

Chapter 1 - 0~

They say if you do good throughout your life, then at the end God will grace you with his presence and take you to heaven.

But if you do evil deeds the devil will drag you to hell, where you will be punished for the sins you've committed.

In that regard, the devil is more fair.

It's as if he represents karma and judgment.

I've always wondered, if one were to ever look at the devil, how would he look?

Will he look hideous like those ugly statues you see around?

Will he look like an inhumane, hideous monster with a hideous body, skin dark like coal, charred wings, long teeth, horns, and eyes, scarlet like the abyssal flames that burn down in hell purifying evil?

Or will he take the appearance of an immaculate angel, with beautiful, enthralling wings, its appearance enchanting and mesmerizing.

Will he speak sweet words like an old friend and lead me to hell?

I've long awaited death, the end that all beings are bound to encounter. imagining every possible thing he might adorn and come for me, the devil… Why the devil? One might ask.

I was by no means evil, but God favors those who worship him, and do good in his name. Why would he come for me who has barely just gotten by in life, barely surviving?

So busy surviving that anything else was like a grain of sand at the beach, one small wave and it will be lost forever.

I lay there on the warm floor, covered in blood, in the middle of a pool of blood. It felt warm as blood was leaving my body slowly from various places.

Excess loss of blood made me numb, as one by one all my senses died.

Leaving my mind wandering, imagining what's to come next.
