Three years after the first Monster appeared, the association of the New Knights has been created as The Solution. The concept of the association is to remunerate everyone who beats monsters. Monsters are usually humanoid so they can hide among crowds of people, in fact, the only difference between a human and a monster is that monsters use magic and humans can't. You could think, how strong is magic or how to beat monsters. If the association took three years to be created it's for those problems, magic depends of the one who controls it. This power can summon beasts, flames, weapons or rocks in short quantities. No more, no less. And for the humans…. Well, they only have their physical condition and some weapons too, they just can't summon it. Many humans want to be safe so they don't join the association. The ones who join it, though, are considered as heroes. They are called Knights first because they are in the Knight's association and secondly because they usually use swords. Indeed, fire weapons aren't really efficient against monsters so..
Today, Flint is going to buy a sword to join the Knights. He has only fourteen years old but think it's a good idea to begin young, each one has a different point of view I guess. He tries to negotiate a bit:

-Hahaha, fighting is a quite hard job isn't it? Even for the money answered the merchant.
-Haaaaa fine » Flint let the money on the table and go away faster than he should.
For the inscription, a document signed by both of the parents is necessary (I mean for minors) so he falsified it quickly. He passes through streets, under the new bridge and arrives, sword in a hand, documents in the other, he's right where he wants to be. In front of the Knight's house, it's not really a house but it's where they are enrolled. This house is pretty big and detailed, every stone is sculpted carefully and the whole thing describes a big dragon, one of the strangest beast summoned by a monster. Flint pass the door breathing heavily because of the stress he accumulated himself. Hopefully, he wasn't late, actually he arrived three hours earlier than he had to. Looking for something to do he see an interesting red door.
