The silence that followed Jonathan's question was nerve-wracking. As they walked back into their room in silence, Akira couldn't help but imagine the favor Jonathan might want from him. "Yes! What's that?" Akira finally asked.
One thing that bothered Akira, was silence. At this instant, he had over a million and one thought was going through his mind. "Can we stroll round the school?" He finally asked, and Akira immediately nodded in both affirmation and temporary relief.
As they walked through the hallway, returning students and first-year students could be seen still making their way to their respective rooms. The hallway wasn't so rowdy, but one could easily smell the scent of affluence that lurked round the atmosphere.
Immediately they made to climb down the stairs, Akira bumped into a classmate, who paused to exchange greetings with him. The guy was Mike. The same guy that had been his toughest academic rival.
Mike was that typical Chinese boy. He had an average height, was very good at karate, knew how to solve mathematics, and was a very good kick boxer. Aside from all these attributes, he was more like a nerd-ish student.
As they continued their journey, Akira made sure to tell Jonathan the story of most of the buildings they came across, and what they signified in school.
Just as they made to corner to the left side of the avenue which faced the east side of the hostel, towards the path that led to the ranch. They bumped into Dan, who was coming from only heaven knows where.
He had a bruise on the left side of his eyes, obviously from the fight from earlier on. Without being told, everyone knew that Dan had a big mouth, but small strength. He could only talk, but couldn't save himself.
As he walked past them, he made a bad eye at Akira, that kind of 'you couldn't even help me fight,' look. Somehow, just as they walked past him, he suddenly called Jonathan back. "Hey! I suppose you're one of the new students." Dan said to Jonathan in a flirty way.
Immediately, Jonathan first looked at Akira with a questioning look, like he needed some kind of permission to talk to Dan. "Oh! We could be friends. If you ever feel like hanging out with anyone, just call me. I live in the room opposite." Dan blurted shamelessly, as he continued drooling with his one bruised eye.
Judging from what had just happened, Akira was furious to the maximum, but he was definitely not going to fight with Dan, over a guy. Never!
As they continued their journey across the semi-lonely path, Akira couldn't help but try to process what had just happened. On the other hand, Jonathan looked kind of nervous like he had a lot to say.
Soon, they got to the white water. A beautiful tourist attraction that was part of the school property. On visiting days, tourists from far and near usually come to see the site.
The water was the last remaining of the seven rivers that symbolized that tribe of the ancient Shanghai people. However, following the innovations of the current days and the advancement of technology, the other six rivers have been destroyed.
"So, are we allowed to swim here?" Jonathan asked, with a slight pause. Even though it was inside the school, it was always forbidden for students to swim in it without permission. "Only if permitted, or risk expulsion," Akira responded.
The next destination that he took Jonathan to was the school's main library. It was literally the home of all the numerous escapades that happened in this school.
Just as they walked along the pathway that led to the library, the faint moans of students could be heard from the back of the chemistry laboratory. As Akira discreetly walked towards that angle, he was surprised to see the most innocent classmate, Andrew, being barebacked by a sophomore. Without wasting time, he took a picture.
Andrew, had been the biggest pretender of all time. He was the class's tattletale. He had the notorious habit of always reporting to everyone, even for the little things.
And out of shock, Akira mistakenly tripped on a stone, almost falling down in the process, causing Andrew to turn back in panic. However, the sophomore still gripped Andrew so hard, as he was obviously climaxing.

The road to the library was another mess on its own. It was filled with used male contraceptives, and shredded porn magazines. Students of this school were trying so hard to turn this school into something else.
As usual, the library was empty. Most of the students dreaded reading. Moreover, it was also the first day of resumption. Just before the holidays, there were rumors of students picking up books in the library, just to see fresh semen on the pages.

Now, it was time to move over to the cafeteria to eat. Akira led the way, as he also tried to limit familiarizing with so many students. On the other hand, Jonathan was left dumbfounded by the experiences of the last few hours.
