The sound of the pouring rain could be heard. Erica was in a tight situation, taken hostage by her stepsister Carolina and boyfriend Adam, technically ex boyfriend because he cheated on her. Being tied up by the two of them.
"Let me go, I say let me go!!"she shouted as loud as she could but no one could hear her.
"Shut up"Carolina said throwing a piece of glass at her which she was using to look at herself.
The glass hit the wall shattering without leaving a cut on Erica's face.
Adam came in soon after
"What happened babe?,is she giving you any type of trouble?"he asked wrapping his hand around her waist.
"I just want to get over with all this, I'm tired of her,if it weren't for the deal we had, I would let her live" Carolina said with so much hate.
"I'll handle her for you" he walked up to Erica slapping her, holding her jaw tight.
Erica looked at him, the man she ever loved, the man she wanted to have children with, the man she could die for but here he was maltreating her and having an affair with her sister.
"Why did you cheat on me?" She could only ask with pain written all over her face.
"Do you know why?, Because I never loved you,it was your sister all along, I love her not you".
Erica spat on his face with anger
"I hate you, both of you"
He wiped his face pushing her face away, he walked out angrily.
"Fuck you"Carolina said following him.
Erica closed her eyes, she couldn't cry now, she had to find a way of out. She looked at the broken glass. She couldn't take it with her hands which were tied, so she fell with the chair, taking the glass slowly and cutting the ropes on her hand, when she succeeded, she handled her leg. She was free but she needed to get out.

Luckily it was a bungalow and the window was easy, she opened it fitting herself out.
She ran, she ran as fast as her legs could carry her but it seemed luck wasn't on her side. Carolina sighted her signaling Adam who started chasing her.
She was fast, luckily she participated in athletic in school. She didn't see the big stone hitting it and falling.
She couldn't give up now, she held her leg standing up slowly. She continued but was slow. She took a stone in case.
She wasn't fast and Adam caught her. She struggled hitting him with the stone, he was bleeding, he held his head in pain.
He pushed Erica who stumbled hitting her head on a rock.
He stood up smiling at himself. He couldn't lose her, she was his ticket to money, he had to sell her. He was already rich but still greedy.
A car light reflected in his eyes,he used his hand to guide them. He couldn't see who it was with the light but what he felt was a big punch making him unconscious.
Erica slightly opened her eyes in pain, she only saw a man with her black hair like, carrying her when she fainted again.
