Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

Awakening the Forgotten: Awakening

In the boundless expanse of the cosmos, where time and space collide and form universes, lies a realm at the edge of creation—a universe where immortals walk among dragons, and primordial beings stir beneath the fabric of reality.

Amidst this celestial expanse lies a planet, a world filled with terrifying beings and entities, some of which we may know of.

List of entities in this world:

Humans: Beings born with humble beginnings, yet carrying immense potential, striving to reach the apex more than any other race.

Elves: Beings adorned with beauty beyond comprehension, blessed with the abilities of spirits and nature. Their innate talent is the essence of life.

Dragons: Beings of immeasurable strength, defense, energy, and comprehension of law. and etc.

In the planet called Aetheron, known as the Core of the Astrithon Universe, the vast expanse of darkness stretched infinitely. Time and space lost all meaning here; there was only silence—a suffocating void. No light, no stars—just cold, infinite emptiness pressing in from all sides.

Victor floated in the abyss, weightless, adrift in the black sea of the unknown, unaware of his body's form, as if existing yet not existing at the same time. His memory was blurred—he could only remember lying down on his bed after a stressful day of job hunting (he was an average guy, with few distinctive features). As his senses began to return, he realized he was probably dead, wondering where he was. All he could see was vast darkness with no light—not even a body to speak of.

"Where am I? What happened to me?" So many questions flashed through his empty mind, but at the same time, he came to a conclusion: This was the afterlife—a world of darkness, an endless space, a lonely environment devoid of any activity. Sad indeed.

"Welcome..."

"Huh?" What was that sound? Was he imagining things? It seemed like he was losing his sanity due to the loneliness. How long had he been here? Days? Months? Years? Or perhaps even more?

Let me not think about it.

Suddenly, the voice returned:

"Welcome to the end of the world, a place where beginning and end do not exist—devoid of all matter and concept."

Victor was stunned, yet strangely relieved. But before he could fully process this, the voice cut him short with a final statement:

"Prepare for your awakening."
