Lucian: Alright... Night...
*Eri Yawns once more, closing my eyes
with a sleepy grin*
Eri: Night, buddy. Sweet dreams...
*Time passes and the silence
continues as we both drift off to
sleep, the abandoned building now
quiet. The night deepens, the wind
howling softly in the background.*
*Hours later, Eri wakes up with a jolt,
feeling cold and disoriented. she looks
around, trying to get her bearings,
and realize you're lying next to
her, fast asleep. In the faint light, she
sees you clinging to her, shivering
slightly in your sleep. she gently pulls
you closer, bundling us both under
her jacket, as a protective instinct
washes over her.*
*She wraps her arms around me, trying
to share as much warmth as
possible. Even in her half-asleep
state, she can feel the chill in your
bones, and something deep
within her tells her that she need
to keep you safe. she tries to stay
awake, but the drowsiness and
the comforting weight of you in
hee arms eventually pulls her back
into a light slumber.*
*As the night progresses, she finds
herself in and out of a dream-like
state, constantly waking up to
adjust her grip or check on you. she
could hear you whimper and shift
in your sleep, and it only intensifies me to keep you closer to me and whisper soft reassurances between
yawns, hoping to soothe whatever
nightmares might be plaguing you.*
*Eventually, the sky begins to
lighten, signaling the approach of
morning. She begrudgingly opens her
eyes, feeling a heaviness in her
chest.*
