Suddenly, all the colours faded from Neil's face.
He noticed a knife on the counter and slowly tried to grab it, but before his hand could've reached the knife... Kael slightly placed his hand over the knife.
"I like your thinking, you thought of the ultimate way to shut my mouth up and I don't think this is the first time you were going to kill someone... Right ?" Kael asked with an evil smile as he looked at Neil.
Suddenly, sweat started accumulating over Neil's forehead.
"Here... Go on, try to kill me. I mean, robert needs a reason to fire you and what would be better than 'Attempt to murder' ?
If I survived your attack... You will be fired and demoted down to a slave after failing to fill your tax.
You see, no one wants a murderer to cook for them." Kael spoke as he pushed the knife towards Neil and looked at his vibrating hands.
"I-I was thinking... Y-Y-You should take this piece of meat. I-I-I can just run to market early in the morning to get more meat, but this-" before Neil could've completed his sentence, kael interrupted him.
"Don't worry, I won't tell anyone about your little dirty relationship as long as you behave and believe me... If you had picked up that knife, I would've had much more raw meat... Bye." Kael spoke with a smile as he left the kitchen.
'I-I couldn't pick up the knife... It was as if a predator was staring into my soul and if I did one wrong move... I would've been long dead.' Neil spoke as he closed the kitchen and went to his room immediately.
After taking the raw meat, Kael walked out of the Mansion through the back door that was near the kitchen.
Since it was late night, there wasn't any lights available inside the Mansion and everyone was asleep.
Kael used a candle as he walked upto an underground storage room that was built in the backyard of the house.
*Creakkkkk*
As soon as Kael opened the old door... He noticed the dark staircase leading to the basement and they were completely covered in white spider webs.
"Fucking hell...." Kael spoke as he lit all the spider webs on fire with his candle immediately.
For one moment, the whole staircase got covered in fire but all of it went away because the walls were made out of stone and the moisture in the walls didn't let the fire spread.
*Step-step-step-step-step*
As Kael stepped down he saw nothing but darkness at the end of the staircase.
At the end of the stairs... There was an old torch that had coal in it.
Kael slowly lowered his candle into the torch and it immediately caught the fire.

"Well... I didn't expected it to light up this fast." Kael spoke as he walked in and noticed another torch.

After he lit all the torches around the room... Kael slowly examined the room.
It was full of old furniture and other useless things and there was a little space in the middle of the room.
"Fucking hell..." Kael spoke as he rolled up his sleeves and got ready to move some stuff out of the way.
[Time remaining: 40 minutes]
"Why is this notification popping up in front of my face every 10 minutes ?" Kael spoke as he immediately dismissed the notification and started moving the things from the middle of the room to the sides.
20 minutes later...
Kael's clothes are completely covered in webs and dust but he had created a big space in the middle of the room.
After clearing the ground... Kael pulled out a small piece of limestone from his pocket.
"It was hard to steal it, but everything goes as long as you are not caught." Kael spoke with a smile as he walked back and looked up.
"Can I get the grimoire ?" Kael asked and suddenly, the grimoire appeared in the air.
*THUD*
As soon as it fell down on the ground it made a loud noise because of it's heavy weight.
Kael opened the first page and started drawing the summoning circle similar to the book.
10 more minutes later...
[Time remaining: 30 minutes]
"Fucking hell... My back hurts." Kael spoke as he completed the circle and stood up from the ground with a back pain.
"Fuck... Now this binding circle as well." Kael spoke as he started making the binding circle as well but due to some writting errors... He had to invest more time in it.
20 minutes later...
"Fuck... My back is killing me. I better get a good demon after this or I am not doing this shit again." Kael spoke as he stood up and looked at the two perfect circles that he just made with so much effort.
[Time remaining: 10 minutes.]
"Now... Let's get to the good part." Kael spoke as he took a seat near the summoning circle and threw in the raw meat that he got from the kitchen.
Kael then pulled out a small knife from his pocket and made a cut on his finger.
After dropping exactly five drops of blood over the circle... Kael used his skill.
[Demon Summoning will consume 20 Cult Points ?] [Would you like to proceed ?]
"Yes... I think, I have more than 20 CP." Kael spoke.
[Summoning has now begun...]
[Opening up the portal to abyss.]
Suddenly, the star that Kael made inside the circle start spinning and a black hole appeared in the middle of the star.
"Woah..." Kael spoke with a shocked expression as he had never seen a still image move like this before.
[Searching for Demons in the abyss...]
As soon as Kael read this notification, he got a little nervous.
'Fuck... What if the demon caught my head and-' Before he could've completed his sentence, Another screen popped up.
[Warning: DEMON FOUND. SUMMONING IN PROCESS. WALK OUT OF THE BINDING CIRCLE.]
As soon as this notification popped up in front of Kael... A horrific pale white hand came out from the ground.
"Ok, time to run." Kael spoke as he immediately ran back and got out of the binding circle.
