It was already nightfall on Mondstadt, we currently see Sekai heading towards the Knight of Favonius headquarters. After the past few days when both Aether and Sekai repel Stormterror's rampage on Mondstadt he was summoned towards into the Knight of Favonius Headquarter by Acting Grandmaster Jean. Sekai entered the base and headed straight into Jean office when he saw a huge piles of paperwork almost like a towering building.
Sekai: How does she even able to handle this?
Sekai mentally screams as suddenly a voice quickly cough in purpose causing Sekai to switch his attention as he sees Jean looking at him with stern look on her face. Sekai instinctively salutes towards Jean.
Sekai: Good morning, Acting Grandmaster Jean!
Jean: *chuckle*(why he suddenly giving salute to me) Good morning, Sekai
Sekai: Uhm… so why did you called me here acting grandmaster?
Jean: You can just call me Jean, and for your question, yeah there is something I would like to discuss to you.
Sekai: Alright Jean ask away, what is it?
Jean takes a deep breath and stare at him with her arms supporting her head below.
Jean: I would like you to join us as a Knight of Favonius, Mr. Silver.
This shocked Sekai, as he wasn't expecting this at all, he was guessing that he was being called there to be responsible for destruction on some part of Mondstadt City but this wasn't even in his expectation.
Sekai: Uhm… I appreciate the offer but, you better give Aether this offer than to me, to be honest I'm more of adventurer as I don't think I will stay in one place for a long time. (Afterall, this was my second chance in live, I want to live a life of retirement!)
He said while scratching the back of his head as Jean sigh at him then she spoke one more time.
Jean: I already offer to Traveler this position and he now Honory Knight of Favonius, Traveler also have suggested to ask you for this position, but its look like you actually didn't want this position. That a pity.
Sekai: Well, in the first place why you want us in the Knight of Favonius, I know Aether in one way or another will travel to another nation and I plan to follow him and Paimon. So, both of us will definitely not always here in Mondstadt.
Jean: I know that, it's just both of you have shown prowess against Stormterror, and Knight of Favonius need that manpower especially at this time.
Sekai: Herm… how about this then, I will help Knight of Favonius during my stay at Mondstadt, but of cause with the right price. Like some kind of mercenary. Don't worry I will not charge unreasonably, Afterall, this city saves me when I starving out in the wild.
Jean: Sekai… thanks, then how about we called you mercenary-knight?
Sekai: Mercenary-knight, sound weird, but hey who am I to complain when it brings food on table right, so can you specify what I need to do.
Jean: Herm… well you can still do outside commission but you also will be given special task from headquarters whenever you need and you will be paid with a hefty price for your service, what do you think?
Sekai: Alright I guess, look forward working with you acting grandmaster!
Jean returned the smile to him as well as she nodded in response.
After the meeting with Jean, Sekai walks out from the office, Kaeya was happy that Sekai decide to work with the knight while Amber and Paimon was excited that he joins while Aether just smile and rise his hand and make punching gesture then Sekai respond by clashing his fist with Aether. Meanwhile Eula on another hand wasn't pleased of Sekai joining the Knight of Favonius as the two meet eye to eye. He can clearly see the pure hatred in Eula with a murderous intent this make Mercenary-knight shiver and gulp in fear knowing she still want to slice him in half.
After the event full day Jean called for Sekai and tells him that he was going on the mission along Eula, of course she didn't take it well and lash put on the acting grandmaster of the knight, after the moment of bickering and arguing Eula finally forced to agreed.
Now currently the two knight are currently inside one of the temples of four wind to investigate on Stormterror source of power.
Sekai: Uhm… can you remind me again, what are we gonna do here?
The Eula glared at Sekai making him instantly shut up and raised up his hand as the Reconnaissance Captain sigh in frustration.
Eula: We're here to investigate.
Sekai: hai!
The two headed straight towards deeper ruin to continue their investigation on the temple of four wind, as they continue to go down, Sekai was starting to notice that Eula was starting to feel a little scared as she starting to get closer towards him just a few inches away then Sekai spoke to his partner.
Sekai: Um… Eula, I think we should get back if you getting scar-
Eula: I'm not scared!!!
Sekai: Eek!!
After Eula suddenly outburst the two remained quiet and awkward as they continue to walk. Sekai sigh and start to produce light on his hand to gain better visual. Eula looks at Sekai with questionable look, but to prideful to ask question. They continue their investigation only to come out with nothing.
Sekai already tried to offer that they should go back, but Eula insisted that they must continue on investigation as Sekai just sigh in defeat knowing her partner stubbornness. Then suddenly Eula latch onto Sekai's arm pressing he chest on the process instantly making Sekai flinch.
Sekai: H-hey?! W-What are you doing!?
Eula: S-Shut up!! I'm only doing this because it's cold here and don't even think that I clinging to you! It's just that ball of light is warm.
Sekai just nods at her as he averted his gaze, as it is true tho cause that ball of light is solar element afterall. Eula gives him another glare even without him looking at her.
Eula: You better not be having perverted though in there or I will slice you apart!
Sekai: *sigh* I don't see anything that can make me think perversely though…
After a few minutes of arguing the two finally reach the went up as they saw someone or something as the two looked closer, they saw some Hillichurls along with some Abyss Mages. Sekai quickly stops his light ball and hide behind crack part of dungeon wall.
Eula: Whatever you do we have to remain silent
Sekai nod at her when suddenly the wall where they hid fall due to Mitachurl walking.
Sekai: Yelp, we're dead.
He said as a fireball was throw at their place causing them to doge on opposing direction.
Eula: Just fight them back!!
She shouted at him as they both doges more of them enemies attack then, Sekai then point pistol finger towards two abyssal mages
Sekai: Light Beam
The light beam hit a shield surrounding abyssal mage causing it to crack. The Abyssal Mage in rage lead the Hilichurls to charge against both Sekai and Eula. Eula makes a quick work on the Hilichurls with her graceful and flawless swordsmanship along with her Cryo elemental skill while Sekai starts to spam light speed near the Hilichurls and shoot light beam then move from one hilichurl to another one.
As the two manage to disposed most of the Hilichurls and few Abyss Mages, suddenly another Abyss mage come out of nowhere and tries to hit Eula with ice blast as Sekai realize this he quickly use light speed towards Eula and push her away from getting hit, the attack was almost just few inches away from him when Sekai cast Light Force to push back the ice blast but the impact from both skill contact burst push Sekai back stumbling to the ground causing him to lose balance, meanwhile Eula sees this try to help but unfortunately another blast of ice energy was sent in front of her creating an ice wall between them as more Abyssal mage appeared out of nowhere and begun to surrounded Eula.
Meanwhile Sekai is currently being surrounded by Mitachurls as he begun to clicks his tongue in annoyance.
Sekai: Ha… desperate time need for desperate measure I guess…. Sekai Cyclone Power!!
As Sekai jacket change to blue color, one Mitachurls tries to attack him but quickly counter by Sekai with Cyclone Fist, pushing it back as another try to attack him again only for him to doge and slide under it as Sekai quickly jump on it back and start to punch ahead at towards Mitachurls chest casting Cyclone Drill, penetrating hole on it. The dead Mitachurls fall down on the ground while Sekai still on it back, Sekai manages to land on his feet when his instinct kick in as he turned around to see Mitachurl with shield was heading straight to him, knowing he didn't have enough time to dodge, He reinforce Cyclone Drill into Cyclone Drill Attacks. The shield used by Mitachurl is instantly bore, and the Mitachurls behind the shield being hit by Cyclone Drill Attack is totally obliterated.
Sekai: That kind of a bit brutal….
As another Mitachurls tries to sneak attack him again, he manages to dodge at the last minute and use Cyclone Fist to punch the Mitachurls towards the other Mitachurls that rush towards him.
Sekai: I can do this all day!!
