Chapter 20 - Episode: 20

The morning sun filtered through the curtains as Noel declared his plan over breakfast.

"I am going to the village to see Mom and Dad," he said in a casual tone but firm at the same time. "It has been some time, and they have been asking about me."

I smiled, nodding. "That's great, Noel. They'll be so happy to see you.

He pointed at me sharply. "You must come along too, Amy. It's ages since you were back home. They all miss you.

I paused and began to fiddle with the rim of my plate. "No, I really can't. There is just too much catching up on in college.

Robert, seated across the table, raised an eyebrow at my response. He didn't say anything, but I could feel his gaze piercing through me, as though he could see right through the flimsy excuse.

"Are you sure?" Noel pressed.

"Positive," I said firmly. "I'll visit when things calm down."

Noel shrugged, accepting my answer, but Robert's silence was making me gulp my saliva.

Later that morning, we took Noel to the bus stand. He waved to us as he got on, ignoring the tense situation between me and Robert.

Robert turned to me as soon as Noel vanished in the sea of people. "College, huh?" he asked with his narrowed eyes.

I crossed my arms and looked indifferent. "What's that supposed to mean?

He smirked but didn't respond immediately. Instead, he walked around to the driver's side, opened the door, and motioned for me to get in.

"Where are we going?" I asked cautiously as I slid into the passenger seat.

"You'll see," he said cryptically, starting the engine.

The drive was silent, but the tension was palpable. I glanced at him several times, trying to read his expression, but his face was unreadable. The city streets gradually gave way to quieter roads, and before I knew it, we were back at my place.

Robert parked the car and turned to me. "Let's go."

I hesitated, suddenly wary of his intentions. "Why are we here?"

He didn't respond, just getting out and walking to the other side of my car. He opened the door, waiting for me to step out.

Repeating himself, I slowly got out and walked with him to the entrance. He closed the door behind us, which resounded in the empty space.

He took me to my bedroom, and my heart was racing in a mix of anticipation and anxiety. The way he moved was so calm and confident that only added to the suspense.

As we reached the room, he turned towards me, his face a mix of teasing and seriousness.

"So," he began, leaning casually against the doorframe, "do you really think you've been concentrating on college and your classes?"

I blushed and looked away, not wanting to meet his eye. "Of course I have."

"Really?" he pressed, stepping closer. "Because from where I'm standing, it looks like your concentration has been… elsewhere."

I gulped, feeling the burn rise up into my face. "I don't know what you're talking about."

He smiled and bridged the distance between us. "Oh, I think you do.

I stepped back, my legs finally hitting the side of the bed. He loomed over me, his presence crushing yet intoxicating.

"You're distracted," he said, his voice low and measured. "And I think it's because of me."

"That's not possible," I tried to say weakly, though my shaking voice had already given away my guilt.

He leaned forward, his face inches from mine. "Liar.

The word hung in the air, daring me to argue. But I couldn't, because he was right.

The atmosphere between us crackled with unspoken words and unresolved tension. He reached out, gently tucking a stray strand of hair behind my ear.

"You can't keep running from this," he said softly. "From us."

"I'm not running," I whispered, though I wasn't sure if I believed it myself.

He tilted his head, regarding me. "Then prove it."

His dare was in the air now, challenging me to step out of my zone and into what I'd been denying for so long.

But I didn't get a chance to say anything. He turned and backed away, breaking the spell.

"Take your time," he said, surprising me with how gentle his voice was. "Work through what you want. But don't play 'wait until college.' You are capable of more than that.

And with that, he turned and walked out, leaving me alone with my racing thoughts and the undeniable truth of his words.

As the door closed behind him, I sank onto the bed, my mind a whirlwind of emotions. Robert had a way of pushing me to confront the parts of myself I wanted to hide, and it terrified me.

But it also thrilled me.

Robert stepped inside with the creak of the door, holding the water bottle in one hand. Always, this made me feel a little intrigued and on edge-the quiet confidence. Placing the bottle atop the little table beside my bed, he stood before me, his eyes steady, unreadable.

"I brought this for us," he said calmly yet with a trace of something unspoken.

"For us?" I whispered barely audible.

"Yes," he said, taking a step closer. "The last time I was thinking… Let's just say, that if we had some water, we might not feel so dry."

I swallowed hard, unsure of what to say. His words hung in the air, creating this sort of tension which somehow drenched over us like an invisible string.

I settled slightly into the bed, wrapping my arms over my chest in an attempt to appear calm. But Robert, as ever, seemed to look right through me.

"You look nervous," he said with a small smile playing on his lips.

"I'm not," I said quickly, but the way my voice wavered betrayed me.

"Lying doesn't suit you," he said with a slight shake of his head and a playful tone. His eyes were brighter, however.

As he came closer, I was automatically pushing back. He caught that, naturally, and cocked his head to one side, looking at me as if I were a puzzle he couldn't wait to solve.

"Relax," he said softly, sitting on the edge of the bed. "You're always so tense around me."

Maybe that's because you have a habit of showing up when I least expect it," I shot back, trying to inject some lightness into the conversation.

He chuckled at that, and the sound was warm and genuine, momentarily easing the tension in the room.

Reaching for the bottle, he unscrewed the cap and took a sip. Then, without a word, he offered it to me.

Here," he said. "You need to stay hydrated."

I hesitated, then took it from him, our fingers touching briefly. The small contact shot through me, and I quickly looked away, focusing on the water instead.

"See?" he said as I handed the bottle back to him. "Nothing to be nervous about.

His tone was light, but the way he was looking at me made my heart run wild. It was as if he could see every thought in my head, every feeling I was trying to suppress.

"Robert…" I started, but he held up a hand to stop me.

"No need to explain," he said, leaning back slightly. "I already know what you're thinking."

"Do you?" I asked, my voice skeptical.

He smiled, but there was something serious in his expression now. "Yes. But I'll wait for you to say it when you're ready."

The weight of his words settled between us, and for a moment, neither of us spoke. The quiet was filled only by the faint hum of the air conditioner and the sound of our breathing.

Finally, he rose and adjusted his jacket. Breaking the silence was a way to end the pause. "You should get some rest," he said gently. "You have had such a long day."

I nodded because I did not know what to say. When he turned around, I felt this pang in me—maybe it was regret or something that could not be described.

" You nodded so easily. Don't you want me to do anything? " He asked romantically.

His words are seriously intoxicating me.

I didn't say no but also didn't say yes too. I was actually expecting something but.

Robert got my silence and my

Shyness. He slowly walked towards me, removed his shirt's button to loosen up which revealing his chest. The way he is coming to me making me extremely nervous. He ran into me and pushed me on to the bed by holding my waist firm but gentle.

" You really want it, don't you? " He said it by looking into my eyes. We both are lying on the bed. He is almost on me. His hand is still on my belly button.

I couldn't face his gaze, so I turned around and lied on my stomach.

He laughed and slowly took his hand on to my butt.

" Did you like what I have done to your butt on other day? " He said, trying to increase my tense and intoxication.

"You are totally insane", I said.

"But, you like it. Right?" He said, slowly moving my pant down.

He got little up and drank some water. His lips are wet and cool. He slowly came to my butt and giving little kisses. His cool lips touched my butt and it gave me a sense of extremity. I closed my face with the pillow and raised my butt slightly up.

He further pulled my pants down, his two hands on both sides of my hip and trying to take his hands to the front, almost near to my private part.

I stopped him.

" Don't worry. I know, you are not ready for it. I'm just exploring that part," he said gently.

I didn't say anything. I was actually feeling relieved that he is a good guy who understands me well. He always makes it a point to make me comfortable but he is a romantic man who loves teasing me.

"Do you need some special move? " He asked me in a whispery tone.

" I don't know," I said in an almost inaudible voice.

" Do you like what I am doing with you? " He asked me.

Like? Oh my god. I feel like I'm in a different world. He is just mesmerizing. He took me to a next level in my originality. I always wanted to be around him. I always wait for what his next moves would be. I easily gets disappointed when he gives a break from what he is doing to me.

Specially, his gaze makes me to think that I'm really an important one to him.

His eyes assures me to trust him.

He is slow and tempting. He never took it in a hurry. But, why?

"I already surrendered to you ", I answered his question, " but, why didn't you have sex when we already committed to ourselves? "

I don't know why I asked him of sex. What he think about me? Shit.

" I want to explore each and every inch of your body. I want to know, how do you feel when I touch certain part in your body", he said.

Such depth in our romance. I slightly smiled and said, "what did you explore till now?"

" You want me to explain ?" he asked me.
