Rufus walked his room back and forth, Xender on his mind constantly.
Since she had vanished, he had been concerned about her and couldn't get rid of the uneasy sense that something was seriously off.
As he paced, Rufus found himself thinking about his feelings for Xender. Although he had always had a profound affection for her, his sentiments had recently intensified.
He couldn't explain why he felt such a strong bond with her that went beyond friendship. Rufus halted his pacing, sat down on his bed, and raked his hair. He was confused and afraid, not knowing what was ahead. Just then there was a knock on the door. Rufus got up to answer, hoping it was Xender. The fact that it was Peter startled him. Peter's eyes were as black as coal, and his complexion was deathly pale. Something didn't feel right, and Rufus knew it.
"Peter, what's going on?
" Rufus inquired, attempting to maintain a calm tone. Peter grinned, but it was a chilly, cunning smile.
"I've come to tell you that Xender is safe," he replied.
The eyes of Rufus narrowed. He inquired, "What do you mean?
" Peter grinned more broadly. "Xender is with me now," he declared.
"And she's exactly where she's meant to be.
" As Rufus looked at Peter in fear, his heart skipped a beat. What was he trying to say? Rufus then seized Peter's arm as he was ready to walk away.
"Peter, wait," he instructed.
"Explain the situation to me. How did you treat Xender? Peter leaned closer to Rufus as his smile widened.
"I've shown her the truth," he said in a low voice. "And soon, she'll be mine forever." Rufus looked at Peter, his eyes widening in terror. No, it's not possible.
The terrible Peter had Xender, the lady he loved, in his grasp. Rufus was aware that he needed to move quickly to avoid losing Xender permanently. Rufus then promised himself something.
No matter the cost, he would stop at nothing to save Xender.
Rufus had no idea that the price would be more than he had ever thought. Rufus received an enigmatic message as he set out to save Xender.
The note said, "Meet me at the old oak tree at midnight," "Come alone.
" As Rufus gazed at the letter, his heart skipped a beat.
Who was the sender? What were they looking for? Rufus, however, realized he had to leave.
No matter how big the risk, he had to take it. Rufus then headed for the ancient oak tree at midnight.
A figure stepped out of the darkness as he got closer to the tree.
Xender was the one. However, there was a problem. Her complexion was deathly pale, and her eyes were as black as coal.
Rufus looked at Xender with terror, and his heart skipped a beat.
How had she fared?
He opened his mouth to ask, but Xender interrupted. She continued, "Rufus, I've been waiting for you," in a sultry, low voice.
Rufus looked at Xender, his eyes wide with surprise.

He was going to inquire when Xender leaned in and whispered something in his ear. Something that chilled Rufus to the bone.
Whispering, "I'm not Xender anymore," she said. "I'm something else entirely." Rufus looked at Xender, his eyes wide with dread.

He was going to inquire when everything went dark.
Rufus experienced a weird feeling that made his entire world go dark.
He awoke to find himself resting in an unfamiliar room with strangers all around him.
Over him stood Xender, her eyes as black as coal. "Welcome, Rufus," she replied in a sultry, deep voice.
"I've been waiting for you.
" Rufus gazed at Xender, his eyes narrowing. How had she fared? He opened his mouth to ask, but Xender interrupted. Her words, "I've been transformed,"
"I've been given new powers." Rufus's eyes became wide with surprise.
What sort of abilities?
Then Xender held up her hand as he was about to ask.
The walls started to vibrate and the room started to shake. Rufus's horrified eyes grew wide.
Xender was doing what?
He opened his mouth to ask, but Xender interrupted.
Her words, "I'm showing you my true power," The walls began to break and the room still shook.
Rufus was aware that he needed to move quickly to avoid being destroyed. Rufus then leaped to his feet, his adrenaline pumping through him. In an attempt to stop her, he took Xender by the arm.
However, Xender was too powerful. Rufus was flung across the room and slammed into the wall by her. Rufus's eyes grew wide with agony.
He had a hard time standing up. However, Xender was too strong. Once more, she held out her hand. Rufus also sensed that he was being raised off the ground.
He could not move, he was stuck. And then, right before Xender delivered the last blow. Someone rushed into the room. Peter was the one. However, there was a problem.
There was an unearthly energy in his eyes. He also had an extremely pale complexion. Rufus's eyes became wide with surprise.

And then, when Peter opened his mouth to say something.

said, "Rufus, I'm sorry," "I don't know what happened to me." Rufus's eyes became wide with surprise. What was she trying to say? And then, right before he asked. Xender fixed his gaze on his. Her words, "I think I've been possessed,"

He was ready to shout when it happened. The room's door sprang open. And in the doorway was a figure. Peter was the one. However, there was a problem. There was an unearthly radiance in Peter's eyes.
