(Rose)
I can feel my heartbeat accelerating. I know what is just behind me is not as human and juvenile as it sounds.
I'm scared of what might be at the head of the body too, I fear for jaws chopping me. I jump on the side as far as I can. I then face it.
The girl, it's not the same one.
- You want to kill me. You want to kill us all.
Her clothes are ripped off along with what her flesh was. Half her body is bloodstained and ripped into some other shape and form. Something black is protruding here and there like grape fruits. She makes a step out of the shadow, something bigger is actually holding her figure, standing like a puppet.
I recognise her. It's her... Her face has the holes from the pitchfork I used before. Here... How?
I keep telling myself it's not possible. It's a nightmare. It's not possible.
But it only gets worse.
Her eyes are wide open, her head tilted on a side. Her mouth's opening itself. Something is ripping her body apart even more. She's screaming or laughing, I'm not sure.
I ran to the stairs, swaying my pipe against a dark arm of the monster mixed with one of the girl's legs. She screams with a monstrous voice that I come and play with her again.
I'm running down the stairs, and I hear it laugh with a girly voice. She tells me to come back and play with her body again.
I pass the door and make a step back as Ann fires at me like I expected. As I go to enter the room, my left arm is caught by something and I'm pulled back in the stairs.
I'm screaming and I hear Ann yelling too. I'm dragged up by my left arm in the staircase and it hurts. I feel a giant tongue licking my shoulder where the dog bit me before. It hurts even more.
I grab the sickle at my waist and turn around. I see the girl's face, so close to mine. I think she whispers something. I know it's a trap. I attack what's holding me. I cut these fleshy parts that don't look human. It finally releases its grasp, yelling pain in a different voice.
As I fall down the stairs, I think it's vomiting a putrid flow behind.
I land against the other girl an we're both hurt. A flood with a foul stench falls against my back. I protect the girl as she leaves, getting my back drenched. I proceed to run after her and escape as well, feeling only burns and vertigos.
The liquid against my back attacks my skin and it's even more painful against my shoulder.
I follow the girl and then her mother to another room, then downstairs. They're busy barring the staircase from below this time.
I'm in more and more pain. My back hurts so much! I begin to yell, I try to take my clothes off, but they rip apart, dissolved into shreds. It's as if acid had been poured against my back. It hurts atrociously. I fall on the floor, I roll, I can't see anymore, losing myself.
I have a glimpse of Ann with a bucket of water. I'm scared. I'm going to pass out. She empties the bucket of water on me. All goes black.

I have frightening nightmares. It's dark, damp, too warm. Everything stinks and sticks. There's putrid flesh everywhere. Monsters chasing me. They're grabbing me. I feel so helpless, terrified, weak and in atrocious pain in my whole body. I'm losing my mind as I scream in agony.
I hear laughs. I hear clumsy songs. The dreams become more peaceful and sad. I hear a voice I think I know, singing. It's oddly soft, despite being without talent.
I feel my heart pumping pain within my blood vessels.
I dream about her for a second. I dream of seeing her, even for a second.
I yell that I miss you.
The voice that replies is not yours. Younger. Colder. Sweeter, but scarier.
- You...
As terror floods me, a searing pain wakes me up.

Unfortunately, reality is still awful.
It wasn't a different nightmare.
I feel like my back is on fire, and my head spinning. I have the worst sea sickness and hangover I can imagine.
I have awoken from a nightmare but reality is worse. When I see Victoria or Charlotte, so close to me, I shiver badly. I think again of her whom I've killed and the face of the one alive scares me.
I hear the entire house moaning, grunting, rattling. Every wall, the ceiling, the ground.
We're surrounded, I can feel it. Ann seems as panicked as I, but not Charlotte. I ask her to help us. She's still not crying, I don't understand how she doesn't. She's weird.
She helps me to stand up.
I move slowly, my body oddly heavier than normal. All my body feels entirely numb. Only my back, from shoulders to buttock feels painfully hot, almost as if on fire.
I see the living room, and the light of a rainy day behind the windows. I see something outside that scares me. Something monstrous, a shape I don't understand.
They've seen it too and we attempt to block the windows with the furniture available. It was too close and it shrieks. It attacks the window and we step back.
Ann takes the weapon she had, reloads nervously and takes aim. She shots, deafening us, and we hear a painful shriek. I think she wounded it.
She's not sure and tries to reload again. She drops the bullet. The furniture breaks at that moment.
The beast enters with rage through the broken window. It's struggling to stand up now, and it seems trapped with us as much as it's cornering us.
I can't move very well but Charlotte hands me the dull sword over. She looks like she's counting on me. I'll try my best... I make a step and feel a cold shiver running along my spine as I face the enemy.
I'm no soldier. I'm definitely no hero...
But I brace myself as if I could still change.
I feel that spicy sap running through my veins, between my heart and my brain. All that defines my will and self have become weirder.
The beast growls, spiting rotten blood and saliva. It looks like a horse that has been skinned, and partially butchered too. It has sharp teeth, and too many.
It crawls, I hesitate again, but move sharply and stab it deeply. I plunge the sword in an ocean of blood and putrid flesh. It feels almost liquid, almost non-existent. There's little resistance to the blade.
But it still shrieks, deafening me and suddenly jumps over me! It falls on me with all its sudden height and its weight suddenly too real. I hear a bit Ann screaming again. I'm tired of hearing her panicked voice. The monstrous amount of flesh and fluids suffocates me. A black and deep maroon blanket wraps my face and limbs, crushing me on the floor.
I can't breathe and close my eyes.
I don't want to give up, but it feels like I'm already gone.
