Chapter 5 - The Great Academy of Aetheris

From all places, we finally entered a large gate that towered in the middle of the city, a barrier between a trading place and a place to seek knowledge.

Many train cars were already present and several students came on foot.

Our carriage turned, got behind a carriage that had dropped off a student, and walked towards the entrance of a magnificently standing building.

The building separates this gate and is only allowed to reach here if you deliver new students or students who have just finished a vacation.

Until the time I was sent down and the driver said separation to me, unlike other nobles I did not forget to bow respectfully to the driver who had led me. Following my attitude in my old world.

I walked with many students who still did not know each other, made none of us chat, and even made a sound.

We passed the building, climbed the stairs, and then passed a lot of pillars here, like the old building in the first century in the Greek kingdom or Rome.

Six pillars on my right, and on the left, six pillars rise high, supporting a very magnificent and old-fashioned roof; this is like an ancient relic by the old kingdom above the aetheric.

When I passed the six pillars after the roof that covered me from the sun, I stepped from inside the shadow, and the sun immediately attacked my skin.

I think this is a garden area? or something. Two old trees that grow on either side of me and then equipped with a long chair on each side of the tree.

He said we had to immediately head to the auditorium this morning for a welcoming ceremony by Academy Principal Claudia Doreion.

I don't know where the auditorium is, and I hope there is a bar that gives a map or direction to a room; passing a tree, I see the building again in front with a closed door and fortifying something.

I accelerated my steps, passed several other items, and entered the door. Several people wearing other uniforms greeted me when I entered.

With a badge on their left chest and an open robe without a button in the middle showing the logo of the student council and the aetheris academy.

The robe is quite cool, in my opinion, because the length is only up to the upper thighs or under the buttocks and the long sleeves, which, in my opinion,n, are quite flexible.

The blue color is almost pale green, and the collar is fitting and dashing if worn by men and elegant if worn by women; I think it's just an ordinary student uniform that is boring.

I followed another student in front of me. I didn't know where he was going, and I also didn't know where he was going, so I just followed him as he walked past the student council members.

I walked in the corridor the sound of footsteps echoed in my ear until finally I saw the door with a bright light there and fortunately we really came out of this corridor.

That makes me wonder, how big is this academy?

****

After a few minutes of walking, I finally entered the Auditorium building, which was no less big than a lot of seats that could accommodate hundreds or maybe thousands of students.

I passed several people and took the top seat, taking the end seat with the widest view.

I thought someone had taken a chair at the other end, it turned out that he was sitting next to him which means there was still one more chair next to him.

Luckily, I was able to sit there because there was a small dwarf who frowned when he saw me sitting in the chair.

"Um…" His hesitant voice reached my ears.

He stretched out his hand, I turned to glance and looked into his eyes, he shook slightly but I quickly accepted the handshake "I am Liam Goldyrus! Who are you?" He asked.

No need to make small talk I immediately "Wein Arcveil." I said briefly, tidying up some of my uniforms that were tangled because of movements and friction when passing other students headed here.

Below was a podium, dark with a large curtain covering something behind it.

The bright light made me surprised when it was shone towards the podium, then cheers started to come out of every student's mouth, I didn't know what was happening.

Those who had been chatting this time focused on someone who appeared from the side, climbed onto the podium wearing a long robe that almost covered the entire body, and was equipped with an elegant dark wizard's hat.

Her wrinkled face indicated her age as well as her hair, which was the color of a school uniform, green hair mixed with blue, slightly pale in the wind as she walked up the podium and the spotlights that followed her movements.

Getting louder when she managed to stand on the podium, the applause began to subside when she patted a device like a microphone but in this world form.

"Uhm...Welcome to Aetheris Academy!" She said enthusiastically but gently.

Then Director Doreion closed his eyes and then it didn't take long to open them again and change that gaze to a gaze that made my spine shiver and my teeth grit.

All the students were silent.

"Welcome to the academy, aspiring fighters, scholars, and awakeners of the young generation of Britonia! I am Director Claudia Doreion and I don't like to talk for too long, so I will rank."

She stopped talking, but the cheers and applause no one shook to make the entire auditorium very quiet, and only a few people who were whispering were heard.

"Once again, I welcome the prospective leader, scholar, and new power for Britonia in this extraordinary academy, I want you to be the best in this academy because this is not the end of the trip but the beginning of a challenging journey and don't be afraid to dream is high to be the best, I think that's all I can say in the reception this time because I am not smart in giving a speech and you will get acquainted with the student council members after this, so get ready! Thank You." She closed her short speech, then raised her hand and waved at the student council members who came out one by one from the side towards the podium.

First, after thunderous applause and whistles and cheers that boomed in the auditorium, Academy Head Claudia stepped down from the podium, disappearing without a trace in front of us and only giving off the sound of an owl that seemed to fly near our ears.

The entire auditorium was silent after the extraordinary action carried out by the Head of the Claudia Academy. Even though I think it was only a lowly trick, it was quite cool because, in my old world, there was no such thing as magic. Damn, I said, cursing, mocking my boring old world.

Then the dead spotlights began to shine again, one by one, the student council members emerged, walked past the podium, and stood at the other end, far from where they had appeared.

The student council member who appeared walked with confident and bold steps; his bright red hair and red eyes also proved the energy he had after following one of the student council members and standing next to him.

Then something appeared from behind the curtain with blonde hair that reflected the spotlight, highlighting her creamy white skin and pink eyes that were like cherry blossoms, even more beautiful.

The crowd began to stare, especially men who gawked at their bodies and cheered to make a very full voice in the auditorium.

"She is very beautiful!" Even captivating the heart of my new friend I just met, I looked at Liam who was interested and started crazy.

It seemed like that was his nature, my voice was small, unlikely to be heard above the echoing voices and loud cheers.

It continued until several council members stood there, leaving one place on the podium, and it seemed like it was for their boss, the General Chair of the Student Council.

Finally, the last one completely silenced the crowd. Her metallic white hair with a slight gradient of cherry blossom pink on some parts that reflected the light in the auditorium gave her a serene glow, while her clear cream-peach-colored skin made the boys around me gawk. She turned to face the audience so that her round eyes were rather green blue but dominant blue caught the hearts of every boy in this auditorium.

She slipped her hair behind her ear before starting to talk, the boy around me was still gawking and even leaning to look at the girl.

I squinted as I tried to make out her ears which were pointed at the tips like an elf.
