Emergency helps were wondering here and there carrying the bodies of those people who got injured during the last night incident. Many people were to be unknown or missing. Many were found dead and many... There was even left a particular normal part of body except the limbs.
Kanzai was seeing this all sitting over a piece of cracked rock of Marble. He was eating breadwich. A typically normal food similar to Sandwich of human world. Kanzai can't still came to his sense of losing the old man in front of his eyes. He didn't wished for something like this to happen. He yet always wished that the old man could get silent and let him sleep normally for once. But he didn't knew, the old man will be silent like this forever.
"You just wait old man-" , Kanzai squeezed his hand tightly, tightening his grip. The bread that was in his hand squeezed and fell apart in small pieces over ground. "I will take your revenge! "
He was planning to start discovering who did the blast last night, who was the one behind the scene, but suddenly in midst of his thinking the same kid from yesterday came in front of him. With a stare of glimmering eyes he looked towards the food that was in the hand of Kanzai.
"Huh? ", Kanzai turned and saw the kid, " Aren't you the same kid that came yesterday in Tavern? ", with a warm smile he rubbed his hand over the hand of kid.
Kanzai saw that the kid was looking towards the bread that was in his hand. " Oh-, you want it?" Kanzai moved his hand forward and gave the bread to the kid.
As he gave the bread to kid, the kid started to go in backward direction from where he came. Kanzai was about to leave too, but suddenly he sensed a smell. A wicked one. A nasty smell that contained a dark essence of mana within it. It wasn't coming from any other place rather than the kid to which Kanzai gave food.
"Something is suspicious. " Kanzai said in a deep serious tone. As he said it, he started to follow the footprint of wicked mana that was left behind by the kid,with his stealth ability, without letting anyone known about him.
"This smell was smiliar to the one that was coming after the blast of Tavern. " Kanzai senses sharpened as the smell started to get strong. He followed it. After a period of time he found himself near a cave like place in woods.
The woods around was thick with the wicked essence or smell. Something was really off, and wasn't good whatever it was.
Kanzai stepped inside of the cave. There were many kind of ruins or pictures carved over the wall of cave. The picture were something seems to be off Or half uncarved. There were picture of rituals and sacrifices.
"Nothing is good about this place. And the smell is driving me mad. Why is it so bad? " Kanzai murmured to himself.
As he venture through the tunnels of cave, safely avoiding traps, he found himself at the last floor. But there was one thing. The smell that was so annoying, there wasn't even a single trace of it here. The air was pure with the sweet smell. There was suddenly a cleaness.
With care, putting his hand on the walls, kanzai started to go down through stairs. As he came near the end, he saw something unbelievable. Something he, no... No one might would have expected resides in the abyss of the cave.
A man standing in the midst of it with similar species to him wearing same cloth. A white scientific coat over black T-shirt, a white pants and a pair of green boots. And around them were some 4 meter each large capsules. There were glowing substance in them with bubbles rising in it. The tiles of base were blue in color made of ceramic. The floor were built of otherworldly material that was most to be about obsidian but white in color with purple and cyan lining spots.
" I knew something was off-", in a state of confusion words started to flow off through the Kanzai's mouth, " But... What the heck is this all? " The otherworldly scenario left Kanzai stunned for a moment. He wasn't able to believe , what he saw right in front of him.
Kanzai rubbed his eyes a several times to check if it was a dream or not. But it wasn't a dream. This was something really fabulous structure to be called.
As in the center there was a thing that was making Kanzai head crazy. A large heart structure, dipped in the glimmering of blue and purple hues. Many wires like lines connected to it suctioning a fluid from it. The thing was thumping like heartbeat. Each heavy and deep. All line that were connected to it were ending in a tub like vessel. And through a underline maybe it was connected to the chambers and capsules at the bottom.
But there was something more disturbing. Something more disgusting. Those chambers and capsules were containing half structured formed entity like the kid he met. And within from them was existing a dark mana essence that was surrounding those things inside of capsules. As much as the scenario was to be called beautiful, similar to it, it was something that contained awful things in it. Disgusting things.
"Is test subject no. 'Rds_56' ready? " A person entered in room through the left gate and spoke. He was wearing black coat, a formal robe and one thing that attracted the attention of Kanzai.
"Wait-", in an awe Kanzai spoke, " Isn't he a Hōbu? "
Hōbu's are a section leader of a particular group or of a command in World government army. They are a one post up from tōshi's. They do usually wear a dress composure of sea green and white color. But they rarely wear black dress, specifically on the occasion of meetings of a group of Hōbu's. For as a sign of identity of ranking, there is a shield shape gold badge on the side and head of shoulders.
"As you demand of, we are working on the new prototype, no. 'Rds_56'." Another one replied to the Hōbu.
"Good! ", Saduko took a puff of cigar and spoke with a smirk look, " I will become the one who will rule over this world! Wuahahahahaha! "
