Chereads / Alpha Triplets' Omega Mate [BL] / Chapter 13 - Chapter : Lost Bloodline

Chapter 13 - Chapter : Lost Bloodline

The room was silent.

Too silent.

Roo sat rigid on the bed, his hands curled into the sheets, his heart hammering against his ribs. The weight of the triplets' stares bore down on him, suffocating, unrelenting.

Alexander stood at the foot of the bed, arms crossed, his silver eyes sharp, waiting.

Alec leaned against the wall, golden gaze flickering with curiosity and calculation, as if piecing together a puzzle.

Ace was seated on the edge of the bed, his body turned slightly toward Roo, deceptively relaxed—but Roo could feel the tension simmering beneath the surface.

They were waiting.

For him to speak.

For him to give them answers.

But he—

He couldn't.

His fingers curled tighter, his throat constricting.

Because what was there to say?

That he had spent his entire life running? That he didn't know where he came from, who he truly was, why people wanted him dead? That all he had ever known was pain, fear, and the constant need to survive?

That he didn't deserve this—didn't deserve them?

His breath came in shallow gasps, panic pressing against his ribs.

Then—

Ace reached out.

His fingers grazed Roo's, warm and solid.

The touch jolted Roo, his wide eyes snapping to Ace's.

The Alpha didn't speak. Didn't demand.

He simply held Roo's hand.

Steady.

Patient.

And something in Roo cracked.

His lips parted, but the words tangled in his throat, strangled and uncertain.

Alec sighed, breaking the silence. "Let's start simple."

His voice was smooth, coaxing. "Your name. Your full name."

Roo flinched, his gaze darting to him.

Alec arched a brow. "You do know it, don't you?"

Roo hesitated.

Then, softly—hesitantly—he whispered, "Roo Amato Valtieri."

A beat of silence.

Then—

Ace hummed. "Valtieri, huh? Sounds Italian."

Alexander's eyes sharpened. "And yet, there are no records of any Valtieri in our databases."

Roo stiffened.

Alec tilted his head, watching him closely. "Where were you born, Roo?"

Roo swallowed. "I... I don't know."

Ace frowned. "How do you not know?"

Roo's breath hitched.

How could he explain?

That he had been passed from one place to another, never staying long enough to belong? That the only memories he had of his childhood were of cold cages, whispered threats, and the sharp sting of silver against his skin?

That the only 'home' he had ever known was the darkness?

His lips trembled.

"I just don't," he whispered.

The triplets exchanged glances.

Alec's golden eyes darkened. "Who raised you?"

Roo flinched.

Alexander's expression remained unreadable. "Who kept you hidden?"

Roo's fingers clenched.

A breath.

A pause.

Then—

"No one."

Silence.

Then—

Alexander's voice was razor-sharp. "Lies."

Roo's stomach twisted.

Ace exhaled sharply. "Roo, we're not going to hurt you. But we need to know the truth."

Alec's gaze pinned him in place. "Because whoever wanted you dead—they didn't just want to kill you. They wanted to erase you."

Roo's breath hitched.

Ace leaned in, his voice dangerously soft. "And we need to know why."

Meanwhile, in the depths of the DeLorenzo estate, the triplets' investigation was unfolding.

Alec stood before a massive screen, his fingers moving across the keyboard in swift, precise motions.

Lines of data flashed across the display—search results, encrypted files, classified archives.

And yet—

Nothing.

No records of a 'Roo Valtieri.'

No birth certificates. No legal documents.

No trace of him at all.

It was as if he had never existed.

Alec's golden eyes narrowed.

That wasn't possible.

Every werewolf was registered at birth, their lineage recorded, their existence acknowledged.

But Roo?

There was nothing.

Which meant—

Someone had erased him.

Ace paced the room, his jaw tight. "So, what? He's a ghost?"

Alexander was silent, his silver eyes cold as he studied the screen.

Then—

Alec's fingers stilled.

Something had appeared.

A name buried in a forgotten file.

A single, fragmented record.

Valtieri.

But not just any Valtieri.

A name that hadn't been spoken in decades.

A name that had once belonged to a bloodline thought to be extinct.

Ace's eyes darkened. "You've got to be kidding me."

Alec exhaled sharply. "The Valtieri Clan."

Alexander's gaze flickered. "The lost bloodline."

Alec's voice was grim. "The bloodline that was wiped out in the Great Purge."

Ace's fingers clenched. "But if Roo is a Valtieri—"

Alexander's expression turned lethal. "Then someone made sure the world forgot."

Silence.

Then—

Alec smirked, his golden eyes glinting.

"Well, well, well," he murmured. "Looks like our little omega is a walking, breathing secret."

Ace chuckled darkly. "And we're going to find out why."

...

Upstairs, Roo was still trembling under the weight of their gazes.

They had come back form somewhere, which seemed too have told them something.

But before he could speak—

Alec's phone buzzed. Again

He glanced at the screen.

And his smirk widened.

"Well, Roo," he drawled, slipping the phone back into his pocket. "Looks like we just found out who you are. And this time it's confirmed."

Roo's blood ran cold.

Ace leaned in, his smirk sharp. "And it turns out, you're worth a hell of a lot more than you think!"

Alexander's silver eyes gleamed.

"This changes everything for you. Roo."
