Chapter 3 - "Destiny joining the dots of friendship"

After her father left for their hometown, Avni quickly settled into Niharika's apartment. Niharika took excellent care of her, helping her adjust to the new life in the city. Avni was homesick at times, but with Niharika by her side, she started to feel more at home. Soon, she grew comfortable with her new job, and everything began to fall into place.

Avni had a very close friend, Rohan, who was more like a brother to her. He made sure she never felt alone, even in the city. When Avni fell sick one day, Rohan immediately went to her office and gave her a jacket to comfort her. It was a small gesture, but it meant so special to Avni, reminding her of the bond they shared.

In the meantime, Avni started to get to know her colleagues better. She became friends with Rahul, who was just like Sid unfamiliar with the city and couldn't understand local language. Avni, being fluent in the language, sometimes helped Rahul out when he struggled to communicate with the colleuges. One day, while Avni and Rahul were chatting, Sid walked by and noticed her new phone. Sid, who had been thinking about upgrading his own, asked her about it.

"Nice phone, Avni," Sid said casually. "I've been thinking of getting one myself. How is it?"

"It's great," Avni replied, offering a small smile. "I'm not too picky, but it's working well."

Sid nodded. "I might go for the same one. Thanks for the recommendation."

Their conversation was brief, but it felt natural. Sid's friendliness, though rare in their interactions, left Avni with a positive impression of him.

A little later, while Avni and Rahul were having a random discussios, she curiously asked him about his friendship with Sid.

"So, Rahul," Avni started, "How's your friendship with Sid going? You two seem close."

Rahul smiled. "Oh, we're pretty close. Sid and I are good friends."

Just then, Sid overheard them and, in his usual playful manner, walked over. "Yes, we're very interested in each other," he added with a grin.

Avni couldn't help but laugh at Sid's dry humor. There was something about his reserved yet friendly nature that intrigued her, even though they didn't talk much.

---

In the passing days, Avni grew even closer to Arjun her teammate and Sid's very good friends. They hit it off instantly and became best friends. Arjun was always easy to talk to, and Avni found herself enjoying his company more and more. Before Avni, Sid had been a close friend of Arjun, so now, with Avni and Arjun becoming best friends, she and Sid had a common mutual friend, adding a new layer to their relationship.

Sid and Arjun were often seen grabbing tea together. It became a little ritual for them. And at the same time, Avni would join them for tea as well. However, the conversations between Avni and Sid were still minimal. They weren't compatible with each other just yet-too different, too reserved, too busy in their own worlds. They would sit together in silence, sipping tea, with only the occasional nod or polite exchange. But something about those quiet moments felt comfortable, as though there was a possibility for something more, even if neither of them knew it yet.

For now, Avni enjoyed her growing friendship with Arjun, and the silent connection she shared with Sid. But in the future, things were bound to change. Something was waiting for both of them-a deeper bond, a closer friendship. Only time would tell what the future held.

---

And that's it for this part. The future holds surprises for them, but for now, Avni and Sid's paths were still unfolding, and their story was just beginning.
