Chapter 20 - Chapter Twenty : Honeymoon

A pair of women of the same generation hugged each other tightly. They brought their bodies closer to each other to vent the longing that would soon attack the heart in their chest. Both of them seemed so absorbed that it made the two men beside them look at them with disgusted looks.

"Hani, until when are you going to let Indah go? They'll be late later." Said the head of the Aditama family who had been watching the interaction between his son and daughter-in-law.

The middle-aged woman immediately let go of Indah. Tears fell slightly from her eyes because she was too sad to be separated from Indah. Although it was only two weeks, for her Indah it was as if she had been gone for years.

"Take care of yourself, son. If Rian does anything, call mom. Mom will beat him up." She said fiercely.

Adrian winced at his mother's threat. If that happened, before contacting his mother, Indah would first drown him to the bottom of the ocean. The woman was as fierce as her mother. Who could guarantee that Adrian could hurt her.

"Gosh, mom. I could never hurt my own wife." He argued.

Hani stared at her youngest son. She still doubted how Adrian could take care of her beloved daughter-in-law. It had been proven that in just a week, her daughter-in-law's body already had scratches. Who else could be the culprit if not Adrian.

"I doubt it, son. You're just like the jerks out there. If you neglect to take care of her, I'll castrate you." She threatened. Of course it wasn't a real threat. Hani loved Adrian so much even though...

"Enough." Said the head of the Aditama family. He immediately pushed Indah's body closer to Adrian. The young man immediately hugged his wife's tiny body possessively. "You guys go. We'll wait for sweet news after you get home."

Instantly a blush appeared on both pairs of cheeks of the newlyweds. Seeing the simultaneous reaction, Hani immediately jumped happily. Her facial expression, which was still beautiful even though she was getting older, made her look strange.

"Ah, that's right. You have to go home with three people!" she shouted happily. The husband just rolled his eyes lazily. His wife was always enthusiastic about everything. He knew that.

"Mom!" Adrian reprimanded his mother. However, Hani, who was too happy, didn't pay attention to her son's voice, which to her only sounded like a gust of wind.

Soon a woman's intercom voice was heard throughout the airport. The order to board the plane had been heard. Adrian and Indah looked up and found their destination plane would take off in a few minutes.

"Mom, we're leaving." Adrian said goodbye. The man immediately dragged Indah away from her mother. If it was like this, he was sure the two women from different generations would never stop talking. Luckily, her father also pulled his mother.

"You are so rude!" Indah grumbled in annoyance. But Adrian still didn't look back. He continued to pull his wife's hand towards the flight gate.

---ooo000ooo---

Maybe if people say that being someone who is easily fascinated by something is crazy, maybe they are one hundred percent right. A stupid face with a strange grin is the stupidest expression when someone is fascinated. That is now also happening to Indah. The woman who was walking hand in hand with her husband could not close her lips again. She was fascinated. After an hour ago, they arrived at Incheon airport, a black sedan immediately took them to this lodging. A hotel with all the bling-bling accessories that made Indah gape.

"What's wrong with you?" Adrian asked, noticing his wife's expression.

Indah turned her head, but her stupid face could no longer be hidden. "I didn't expect... we... oh my..." the woman couldn't say anything anymore. Her breath was ragged because she was so happy.

Adrian's eyebrows rose. From behind his sunglasses, he was shocked why his wife was still asking that. "Didn't you say that you wanted to stay in a luxurious hotel..?"

Indah was shocked. She had never said anything to her husband. Even for two days before their departure, Indah was too busy with the things she would bring to Korea. "When?"

"With mom?"

Indah was pensive. Yes, she remembered yesterday morning together with her mother-in-law they chatted while cooking in the kitchen. Indah did say that she wanted to stay in a luxurious place sometime later. But that didn't mean she wanted to stay today. This really suffocated her chest.

**Flashback**

"When you have a lot of money, what will you buy?" asked Hani who was standing next to her daughter-in-law.

Indah who had been busy stirring the cake dough, immediately fell silent. For a moment she thought about what she would do when she became rich. "Hm.. maybe spend the night in a luxurious hotel."

Hani smiled meaningfully. "With Adrian?"

Indah's black eyes widened. She shook her head quickly and rolled her eyes the other way anxiously. "N-No.."

"Really?"

Indah nodded quickly. She never thought she would spend time alone with her handsome husband. She tended to prefer to go on vacation alone.

"Well, I thought you would bring the child too." Hani said with a pitiful face.

**End Of Flashback**

"You were eavesdropping, huh?" she guessed.

Adrian scratched the back of his neck which was not itchy while showing his grin. "Yes, that's how it is."

Oh my..

Has Indah ever said that her husband is a cool man?

No way. This must be a dream. He must still be asleep. How could that man be so sweet. Oh my.. if only she brought her camera, she would take pictures of Adrian's face from every angle. She liked her husband.

HAP

Adrian was shocked when his wife hugged him tightly again. He even dropped his suitcase when his wife's body jumped towards him.

"Oh my.. if this is how it is, I will follow you to the end of the world, my husband!" she screamed. Not caring that the people around her would think she was crazy. After all, Indah knew that no one would understand her language.

The man with bright hazel eyes just rolled his eyes lazily. His wife oh his wife.. it will always be like this.

They finally walked towards the reception desk. Adrian spoke fluent English, making Indah who heard it once again gape her mouth. She didn't know her husband was so good at speaking a foreign language. At first she thought Adrian refused to come to Korea because he couldn't communicate other than in Indonesian.

"I didn't expect you to be so fluent in that language?"

"That language?" Adrian asked with raised eyebrows.

"Yes, English." Indah said confirming.

Adrian hugged his wife after he got the key to their room. "I'm very smart. You should be lucky to be able to marry a man like me." The man said confidently.

Indah frowned softly. She regretted saying that. She should have just kept quiet.

"You're a narcissist!" she said.

The Hazel-eyed man shrugged his shoulders, with a look of "Whatever.".

"Just being told a little good already feels confident. You're arrogant." Indah grumbled while directing her gaze elsewhere, as if she wasn't talking to Adrian.

Adrian could only snort and smile. His wife acted like a teenager at her old age. He knew that his wife wasn't really annoyed with him. But he couldn't stop teasing her.

"Adrian!!!" A woman's voice was heard from behind them. The man then turned around and greeted her back. Adrian released his embrace from Indah's neck and walked towards the blonde-haired woman behind them.

"Kris!" he greeted while waving. Indah, who had been busy with her own thoughts, then followed Adrian to the woman called Kris.

"Adrian, Long time no see." she asked while hugging Adrian's arm affectionately. Realizing Indah's presence, Adrian immediately released the woman's embrace. Seeing the unusual response from the man in front of her, the woman named Kris immediately followed Adrian's gaze to Indah. Her forehead wrinkled when she saw a strange figure beside Adrian.

"Adrian, who's this girl?" she asked while pointing at Indah.

"I.."

"She's my cousin." Adrian answered flatly. Indah who heard her husband's answer immediately rounded her eyes as big as coins. She began to guess whether Adrian deliberately hid their status because he was ashamed of having a wife like her. Seeing Adrian's reluctance to introduce his true status, Indah began to feel discouraged. It turned out that the vacation that her husband called a honeymoon was just entertainment.

"Oh, Cute girl.." he praised. The woman was indeed more beautiful, taller, slimmer than Indah. Plus her body like Miss Universe, added more plus points to this woman. In terms of face, this woman looked like an American woman who was mixed with Asian.

"Indah, let me introduce you to Krystal. She was my college friend when I was in America." Adrian introduced Kris to her in a friendly manner.

"Hello, I'm Kris, your cousin's friend." He said cheerfully.

"H-Hello." Indah was a little awkward.

Adrian noticed his wife's change in attitude. He wanted to comfort her. But he was confused about explaining it. None of her friends knew about her marriage except Marcus. They could be considered bad if Kris found out that their sudden marriage was decorated with bitter spices. Moreover, the woman was known to have a sharp mouth. He didn't want Indah to be Kris's punching bag. There was nothing else he could do but temporarily obey what the woman wanted.

Then the woman put her arm around Adrian's muscular arm, "Adrian, Let's go for a walk. We must talk about our life after Graduation."

Adrian just nodded. "Indah, you go to your room first. Here's the key." The man handed Indah his room key, without the slightest intention of explaining what really happened.

Indah watched her husband leave with the woman with Kris. For some reason, seeing the two of them together made her feel so suffocated. They looked affectionate and harmonious, compared to her who looked like a brother and sister relationship. Occasionally Indah saw Adrian laughing with Kris. Not once did the woman also hit Adrian's shoulder affectionately. They laughed very happily. Yes, Kris was indeed an attractive woman.

Seeing the sight made her black eyes feel spicy. Indah really wanted to pull Kris's long, straight hair as hard as she could. She also wanted to tear the thin t-shirt that the woman was wearing. The point is Indah wanted to go berserk. But, what right did she have to do that? Even though she was Adrian's wife, it didn't mean that she also owned the man's heart.

In the end, Indah immediately stepped into their room. She dared to bet that Adrian wouldn't remember that she was here too. The man would definitely enjoy his time with Kris.

Arriving in the room, Indah immediately locked herself and threw her body on the bed. She was tired, both in heart and mind. At first she thought Adrian would only smile like that at her alone. But after seeing him meet Kris, Indah became doubtful about the man's feelings for her.

"What is this feeling? Why should I be angry seeing him with another woman. Do I have the right to do that? I'm just a wife married to Adrian. Have I started to be attracted to him? Have I started to fall in love again, with my brother-in-law." Indah thought to herself.

Lost in her thoughts, Indah slowly drifted off to sleep. Everything felt peaceful as if it was taking her flying into the sky without wanting to be brought back down.
