Sera shin could only bow her head as she was spoken to in such a manner, she wondered where it had all gone wrong, it was said that she would be a bearer of good luck to her family and those around her, but seeing her life now she knew it wasn't meant to happen.
No one in the Yu family had ever treated Sera shin with respect except for Jang yu's late grand father, who always treated her nicely and said she was destined for great things, Sera could live with the sneering looks from members of the Yu family because she had Jang yu's grandfather to support her and keep her safe , but since he past, she has lived on edge because of the member of the Yu family and yet her effort were rewarded with betrayal and condemnation.
"I guess I was really foolish to think you would ever treat me like a person, I should have realized sooner that you are just a worthless piece of trash as an excuse for a husband." a mocking smile played on Sera's lips as she spoke.
Fera was immediately angered and was about to speak up, before she was calmed by Jang yu. "Its ok my love ,that is all she can do, and it is only natural she speaks that way as she has come to her withs end."
"But still ,how could you let her talk to you that way, Fera spoke as she glanced at Sera , well I am not surprised ,what can you expect from an orphaned bastard like her, she has no parents that could teach her common decency and manners , so she was never thought any manners."
A glint of anger and hostility flashed in Sera's eye's as she heard of how Fera spoke about her and her deceased parents.
"hahaha, Fera you just hit a nerve ,please take it easy on her ,she is about to start flooding the room with her tears again. Jang yu said with a mocking grin."
Sera fixed her eyes on Fera as she clenched her fist. sera gritted her teeth and lunged towards Fera.
But before she could even get any closer to Fera , she was kicked to the ground by Jang yu. Sera could not stand because of the enormous pain she felt coming from her stomach.
"You bitch!!How dare you raise your hand at Fera??"Jang yu spoke as he held Fera shielded in his arms.
"It's ok Jang yu ,i can handle her, Fera spoke as she moved away from Jang yu's grasp and towards Sera who lay on the floor clenching her stomach."
Fera pulled Sera by her hair and slapped her hard on the face, but she didn't stop there as she beat her to a pulp.
Sera laid on the cold floor in pain as she took every blow that was thrown at her, she was to weak to fight back or dodge any of it.
The beating she had just taking caused her to cough up blood. She knew how pitiful she looked lying half dead on the floor, before she could muster the strength to say anything, she heard Jang yu speak.
"Fera please calm down she isn't worth wasting your strength and time on , you will end up hurting your self and I don't want to see a single scratch on you."
Jang yu turned towards Sera and kicked her over to the direction of the door before he pointed his finger in the direction towards the door.
"Get out of my sight right now, before I end your life here" Jang yu said with his tone ever so cold.
Sera looked at the pair of sinners rapped around each other, she hated them an hated her self for not getting her revenge against them.
Sera was reluctant to leave after getting beaten, as she was already disgraced by the cheating pair in front of her.
"Jang yu mark my words, you will regret everything you have done today. I will make you regret it tenfold even though it is the last thing I do. Sera said to Jang yu ."
She wiped the blood at the corner of her lips before she turned around and left the Yu residence.
As sera made her way out of the Yu residence and to the main parking lot, she ran into Jang yu's mother Yumin yu, who had just come back.
She glanced at the car parked at the entrance of the residence and immediately understood what had happened.
"Welcome back mother"....Sera greeted with a crooked voice and puffy voice she had gotten from crying.
Yumin yu, looked at her noticing the bruised marks and puffed eyes but wasn't concerned to ask as she looked at her without emotion.
"Now that you have learned about the truth, I hope you know what you must do, the family had already agreed to kick you out, but since it has come to this I take there will be no need for such extreme measures."
As sera listened to her mother In-laws words she couldn't help but plunge into more despair.
"d-did grandpa also know about your plans". Sera asked with a heavy heart.
"Of course he did". Sera felt her self on the brink of tears.
But, Yumin yu continued to speak. But he fought against the idea until he died, but who cares of his opinions they are all meaningless and hold no power, so it did not matter what he wanted or thought.
"Our family have already signed deals with the Paiwon elders and if every thing works through we would be elevated among the elites in the city. "
"And you can't simply grasp that type of power or idea, for you are just a plain stupid and incompetent wench."
Sera couldn't muster up anything else to say, she had already being deeply insulted and brutally beaten.
She walked out of the Yu residence as she wiped the blood stains trickling from her mouth.
Sera had left the Yu residence and was contemplation her next move and what to do when suddenly, a grand and luxurious car pulled up in front of her.
She stopped in her tracks and was confused on what was going on, and then the windows of the luxurious car finally wined down.
"You finally decided to step out of the house...The young handsome man at the back of the car spoke up, as he starred at her with disdain."
"So.. I guess you are to be my bride the handsome man said as he looked Sera up and down."
"UHM....mister I think you have mistaken me for someone else, Sera tried to persuade."
"I am pretty sure you are the one, jinxi bring her into the car". The man said to someone who was sited in the car and dressed as a type of body guard."
"Yes sir" The body guard moved quickly to pick sera up and put her in the car . She was immediately scared and tried to resist but the me were far stronger than her and she was to weak to do anything.
When Sera entered the car she sat at the far side of the car to scared as to what was happening.
She took scared glances at the man, but couldn't look him in the eye as the man maintained eye contact and didn't look away for one second.
The man finally spoke....."So you are the Sera shin.....My grandfather has said a whole lot about you and urged me to marry you."
"And I agreed because you are rumored to be an untapped gem.....but if you turn out as a worthless ruse , I will waist no time to throw you aside."
"And one last thing, the man said as he pulled out a green gemstone and a wrapped scroll from a jaded box and passed it to Sera."
"Grand father ordered that these items be giving to you."
The man handed it to Sera and was amazed to see that the gem stone glowed before it was absorbed into her body. He smirked at the sight of what he had just witnessed.
When sera took a look at the scroll ,she was baffled but quickly gained back her composure.
She shyly turned to the man ." May I ask of your name??"
"Qin sung, that's my name try not to forget it."
Who would forget the name of such a beautiful man ,sera looked at him as she thought. It must have been the heaven's that sent this man ....I won't waist this opportunity , I must make those that made me suffer, get back everything they have done to me in ten fold.
