Aaron sat in his kitchen on the Island after eating his breakfast. He was peeling a tangerine after eating two of them, this was his third one. He was in his mind but he was still peeling as if he was focused on peeling. Victor watched and thought about reminding Aaron about the fact that today was his day off but he thought that might not be such a good idea.
Aaron suddenly snapped out of his thoughts, "uhh Victor why are you still here?"
Victor said nothing.
"Go." He instructed, "today is your day off, Saul will be here in a minute." He dove into eating his tangerine.
"I'll stay until he's here." Victor's baritone voice hit his ears.
"Just leave. Plus take that gift basket with you, the woman has known me for years yet she doesn't know that I don't like sweet things." Victor released a chuckle.
Aaron grinned, it was rare for Victor to chuckle or smile or laugh or even talk. It was like Victor was the boss and he was just some crazy dude who thinks he's the boss.
Victor didn't bow, he just scooped the gift basket with all the foreign delicacies and left.
Saul came rushing in, Aaron didn't like Saul but he was good at his job and he was recommended by Victor so he just let him be.
"Let's roll." Aaron threw the last of the tangerine in his mouth and started walking. Saul followed him.
Saul was not allowed to walk next to Aaron like Victor was, yes there was clear favoritism but Saul didn't mind it which made Aaron hate him even more.
They went to his night club, it was the only club he owned well the only one he decided to buy. He wasn't interested in these kind of things but his little brother was and this was his favorite club. So what did Aaron do? He bought it and banned his brother from ever coming just to annoy him a little bit. Aaron even barely came to this club and he didn't care if it was making a loss or making money. Also he didn't care how it was run as long as his two rules were followed.
One: His brother was not even allowed to be near the club.
Two: No strippers, or hostesses or whatever it is that degraded women.
He came in and everyone held their breath. It was close to impossible to see this man here and everytime he came, it means trouble.
He came in with a few peole who looked like contractors and according to their clothing and whatever they were holding architects.
They looked over the insides of the building, "okay I want it here." Aaron was speaking with one of the men in the group.
"Sir it would be best over there." The contractor advised.
"I hear you and I believe in your professional advice but I want it here." He pointed to the spot.
"I am going to turn this spot into a VIP section and the dance stage including all this area will be encased inside glass walls." The contractor raised his eyebrows.
"Although people will not be allowed but they will still be able to enjoy the show from the outside. You know bring in more customers." He pat the contractor with a smirk nodding his head.
"Now I want the stage to be like a runway and I want the pole to be at least two feet from the couch at the end of the stage." He made a gesture of spreading his arms wide showing the contractor exactly what he wants.
The man nodded his head. He was getting paid a butt load of money that will put him through his retirement, considering he didn't have any kids or a wife or grandchildren he was set after this job.
"Anything else sir?" The man asked.
"I want three disco lights, you can put them wherever as long as they shine bright enough to show the pole when the girl is dancing, also bright enough for everyone to see her face." The poor man wanted to sigh but he thought that Aaron will kill him for pooping on his joy.
Aaron really looked excited like a boy who has been offered a candy by a stranger that didn't kidnap him.
"I will do everything you ask sir." The poor old man responded.
"So how long will it take? A week or two?" The man widened his eyes, why the fuck would he think it would take such little time.
"Uhhh..." the man trailed off.
"What?" Aaron finally faced him after fantasizing about what the place will look like and how his plan will work.
"It's going to take more than that." The old man's voice was shaking.
"With my team it will at least take a month." The old man was praying to not piss his pants at this moment.
"You can hire more people that way it will take less time right?" He was sure of his statement as if he was the professional.
"That will cost more money." The old man took out his handkerchief to wipe off his non-existent sweat, he was just feeling too hot.
"Done." Aaron clapped once for confirmation.
"Sir quality work is really high in cost." The old man cleared his throat.
"Bob." That was not his name, but Bob straightened his back when Aaron placed his hand on his shoulder.
"This is why I like you. Quality work indeed, that is what I need. Now just build me what I want and send me the bill in a week or two when you're done." Bob wanted to ask for a third week but those words got stuck in his chest so he released a hiccup instead.
"My man!" Aaron exclaimed with a smile and a gun gesture which almost gave Bob a heart attack because he thought if he didn't finish on time he will be a dead man in two weeks.
His job was done and he had told Bob what he wanted and he hoped for his own sake Bob will make his vision a reality.
Saul drove Aaron to the rauchy place that held the memory loss girl.
She was sleeping and her injured toe looked inflamed, Aaron looked her over and lightly slapped her cheek.
"Wake up!" He screamed.
The girl opened her eyes slowly, she knew who it was so she wasn't scared.
"You smell awful." Aaron held his nose closed.
"Well I haven't bathed in forever and since there is no bathroom I have peed myself over three times now." Her voice was weak and she didn't seem to care.
"I like that. Your misery brings me joy." Aaron took a chair and sat close to her face, he was smiling all hapoy and content.
The girl opened her mouth and breathed on his face and Aaron gagged.
"You're right your misery does bring me joy too." She weakly smiled.
"I bring good news today!" He exclaimed and she rolled her eyes. It was obvious those good news were going to make her suffer.
"You're going to be out of here." He spread his arms like a hero.
"You're letting me go?" She was getting ahead of herself.
And her little hope once more came crashing down when he said, "No." Her face went back to being straight again.
"Ohh baby you're mine." He said with a serious face and an unexplainable feeling crept inside her heart.
"So where are you taking me, a place worse than this?" She asked still confused from his last statement.
"Im taking you to my house." Her eyes lit up and her heart was pumping with joy.
"Come on. Stand up, let's go." He held out his hand for her to hold and they walked to the door with the woman limping just behind him as he held her hand and leading her while walking to her pace.
