Chapter 2 - Tasty

As Masako sat at her desk, fully immersed in coding, the enticing aroma of dinner began to waft through the apartment. Kazuma moved around the kitchen with practiced ease, chopping, stirring, and tasting as he prepared her favorite meal. His light blue hair shimmered under the soft glow of the kitchen lights, and his light blue eyes sparkled with a quiet determination to make something delicious for his beloved wife.

Meanwhile, Masako remained focused on her work, her fingers flying across the keyboard. She was deep into debugging a tricky segment of code, her chocolate brown skin glowing faintly under the light of her monitor. Her dark brown hair was pulled back loosely, and her golden eyes narrowed with concentration. Her blue V-neck shirt clung to her as she leaned forward, her black pant slips and brown pantyhose stretching as she shifted in her chair. The golden necklace around her neck swayed gently with her movements, and the golden chains hanging tight to her waist jingled softly as she adjusted her position. Despite her deep focus, the tantalizing smell of Kazuma's cooking began to tug at her attention.

Just as she hit a breakthrough in her code, Kazuma appeared by her side, holding a beautifully plated dish. "Dinner's ready, sweetie," he said with a smile, setting the plate down on her desk. "I thought you could use a break to recharge."

Masako looked up at him, her golden eyes softening with gratitude. "Dear, you didn't have to go through all that trouble. I could've eaten later."

Kazuma shook his head, leaning down slightly to meet her gaze. "No way. You've been working so hard all day. I wanted to make something special for you. Plus, I love watching you enjoy my cooking."

Her cheeks turned a faint shade of pink as she picked up her fork and took a bite. The flavors danced on her tongue, and her eyes lit up with delight. "Kazuma, this is amazing, as always. How do you manage to make everything taste so good?"

He grinned, crossing his arms as he leaned casually against the edge of her desk. "Maybe it's because I have the cutest, most amazing wife to inspire me," he said with a teasing tone, his light blue eyes sparkling with affection.

Masako nearly choked on her food, her flustered expression making him chuckle. "Dear! Stop teasing me while I'm eating," she said, trying to sound annoyed but failing as a small smile crept onto her lips.

"I'm not teasing," he replied with a wink. "You really are cute when you're flustered, sweetie."

She groaned softly, her cheeks now fully flushed, but she couldn't hide the way her heart fluttered at his words. "You're impossible," she muttered, taking another bite to hide her smile.

Kazuma reached out and gently ruffled her dark brown hair, making the golden eyes she tried to avoid meeting glance up at him. "And you're adorable. Now, eat up. You'll need the energy for all the amazing coding you're doing."

Masako rolled her eyes playfully but couldn't suppress the warmth that spread through her chest. She loved how attentive and thoughtful Kazuma was, and even though his compliments sometimes left her flustered, she wouldn't trade these moments for anything.

As she finished her meal, Kazuma cleared the plate away and returned with a cup of tea. "To help you relax while you work," he said, placing it on the desk beside her.

Masako smiled, her golden eyes brimming with affection. "Thank you, dear. I really don't know what I'd do without you."

He leaned down and kissed her on the forehead. "You'd do just fine, sweetie. But luckily, you'll never have to find out."

With a final squeeze of her shoulder, he left her to her work, leaving behind the lingering warmth of his presence and the sweet taste of his love, not just in her food but in every thoughtful gesture.

The morning sun streamed through the curtains, filling the cozy apartment with a warm, golden glow. Masako had woken up early, determined to surprise her husband for once. She couldn't help but smile as she glanced at Kazuma, who was still fast asleep in their bed. His light blue hair was slightly messy, and his light blue eyes were hidden beneath soft lids. He looked peaceful, and it warmed her heart.

"Time to give you the treatment you deserve, dear," she whispered to herself, slipping out of bed quietly.

Masako set to work in the kitchen, her golden eyes gleaming with excitement. She was dressed in one of Kazuma's oversized shirts, which hung loosely over her shapely figure, paired with her usual brown pantyhose. Her dark brown hair was tied back, and her golden necklace glinted as she moved. She poured her heart into preparing an elaborate breakfast—heart-shaped pancakes, crispy bacon, freshly squeezed orange juice, and just the right amount of syrup drizzled over everything.

Once the table was set, she padded back to the bedroom and leaned over Kazuma.

"Dear," she cooed softly, brushing his light blue hair away from his face. When he stirred but didn't wake, she grinned mischievously. "If you won't wake up on your own, I'll just have to convince you."

She climbed into bed beside him and wrapped her arms around his torso, pulling him close. She nuzzled her cheek against his, planting soft kisses along his jawline.

"Wake up, dear," she whispered lovingly, her voice laced with playfulness. "Your wife made you breakfast."

Kazuma groaned softly, his light blue eyes fluttering open to find Masako's golden ones gazing down at him with affection. "Masako," he mumbled, still half-asleep. "What's all this?"

She smiled brightly, her chocolate brown skin glowing in the morning light. "I decided to spoil you today, sweetie. You're always taking care of me, so it's my turn to take care of you."

He chuckled, sitting up slowly. "You're too good to me."

"Not as good as you are to me," she replied, grabbing his hand and pulling him toward the table. "Come on, I made something special."

Kazuma's eyes widened as he took in the sight of the beautifully plated breakfast. "Wow, Masako. This looks incredible."

She grinned, clearly pleased with his reaction. "Of course it does. Now sit down and let me spoil you properly."

He obeyed, sitting on the floor cushion as she knelt behind him. Before he could pick up his fork, Masako pulled him back slightly so his head rested on her lap. Her soft thighs cradled his head, and she stroked his light blue hair gently.

"Masako, I can feed myself, you know," he said, though his voice lacked conviction.

"Not today, dear," she said firmly, picking up a fork and cutting a piece of pancake. "Open wide."

Kazuma sighed but opened his mouth, letting her feed him. The pancake melted in his mouth, the perfect balance of sweetness and fluffiness. "This is amazing," he admitted between bites.

"Of course it is," she teased, leaning down slightly to kiss his forehead. "Your wife is amazing, after all."

He rolled his eyes, though a blush dusted his cheeks. "You're really laying it on thick today, aren't you?"

"Maybe," she said with a smirk, cutting another piece and holding it to his lips. "But you like it."

He took the bite, but just as she was about to feed him more, a drop of syrup dripped from the fork and landed on his cheek. Masako froze for a moment, then her golden eyes sparkled with mischief.

"Oops," she said, tilting her head. "Looks like I made a mess. I should clean that up, don't you think?"

Before Kazuma could react, she leaned down and licked the syrup off his cheek, her tongue warm and soft against his skin. His eyes widened, and his blush deepened, but Masako wasn't done. She kissed his cheek repeatedly, her lips leaving soft, sweet kisses where the syrup had been.

"Masako!" he exclaimed, flustered. "What are you doing?"

"Cleaning you up, dear," she said innocently, though the playful glint in her golden eyes betrayed her. "Can't let my sweet husband walk around with syrup on his face."

She gave him one last kiss, right on the corner of his mouth, before sitting back with a satisfied smile. "There, all clean. Now, let's finish breakfast."

Kazuma sighed, his face still red. "You're unbelievable," he muttered, though the small smile tugging at his lips betrayed his true feelings.

"And you're adorable," she countered, cutting another piece of pancake. "Now, open wide."

As she continued to feed him, the two laughed and teased each other, their love filling the room as sweetly as the syrup on the pancakes. Moments like these made every challenge they faced worth it, and Masako silently promised herself to keep spoiling him whenever she could.
