Percy looked around at the rusted building, and trash everywhere. It was somewhat a pain to see the once beautiful city turn into a garage.
He was having a difficult time controlling his strength sometimes, and that wasn't good. He had to learn what was normal around here so he could imitate it.
Otherwise it's just gannĂ be Percy accidentally crushing someone's skull. Which didn't faze him much as one look inside a super mutant room fixed that trauma for him.
His partner wiped the blood from her jacket and looked over at him. They had gotten shot at by some raiders (he's assuming) but at this point Percy already knew to not get all mushy because he killed a human.
'you're going the wrong way,' Percy heard the faintest whisper in his ear.
Percy froze mid step as he turned his head to the voice hearing nothing. Seeing nothing, but he felt something.
"Are you... Hearing voices," Nora asked as she gave him a gentle pat on the shoulder.
"...I guess I am. I could have sworn I heard my wife... Late wife's voice," Percy said with a sigh.
Percy saw the way Nora looked at him, with empathy and not pity. Percy sat at the noodle shop in the middle of diamond City and sighed.
"2 bowls," Percy said to the robot Takahashi.
"Nan-ni shimasho-ka?" the robot said.
"Japanese huh," Percy said with a raised eyebrow.
Reminded Percy of the old days where he received training from a samurai. Now that was one of his hardest fights.
Percy had gotten his bowl of ramen and ate it slowly. He looked over at Nora who was downing a bottle of alcohol.
"You know what you remind me of?" Nora said with a hint of a stutter. She could hold her alcohol, Percy would give her that.
"And what do I remind you of," Percy said tilting his head. Anaklusmos lay on the table next to him since he didn't have pockets.
Nora laid her head down on the table before looking at Percy's face.
"You got the eyes... Of a starving wolf. Like you're desperately on the hunt, as if you're looking for something... A purpose if you will," she said.
Well it wasn't technically wrong by any means. Something was calling out to him, he felt it in his soul.
Everything was wrong with this place and it needed major help, and that was something Percy could do.
(Meanwhile)
"Sir." An institute synth reported to Shawn.
"The information," Shawn requested, to which the synth gave him the folders he was holding.
The crows were doing a fantastic job he had to admit. It was all thanks to her. She was able to guide them to a better future.
Shawn opened the folder to see a picture of two people. One man and one woman.
The man looked younger, maybe about twenty four or twenty five, and the other in her early thirties. The man had a bronze sword on his hip, clean with no signs of rust and lightweight armor.
The woman had an arsenal. With a 10 MM, a sniper, a shotgun and some others. She carried ammo in her little backpack, which he could tell was pre war due to its condition. It was used for sure, but it was as close to new as you could find.
"What is it you're researching now," a woman finally came into Shawn's office as she was scribbling on her clipboard.
"Nothing of importance," Shawn said, putting aside his papers.
"Good. I need these parts and I need you to send Kellogg and eliminate virgil. You know I hate loose ends," the blonde haired woman told Shawn.
But what could Shawn do but listen to his superior's. However she looked at the photos Shawn had gotten from monitoring his monitoring of his mother's actions and her face suddenly paled and then she had this scary look in her grey stormy eyes.
"This man. I want him brought to the institute. Immediately. Before the minutemen or brotherhood get to him" the blonde haired woman said.
....
(Meanwhile with Percy)
Percy led Nora to a lake next to sanctuary and jumped in, and swam into the middle of the lake before submerging.
Nora watched as Percy emerged from the lake carrying a variety of things. A katana, holotapes, and an assortment of items.
She watched as he put away the bronze sword and kept the katana on his hip. If he had the armor, she would have guessed he was a samurai, but sadly he didn't.
"We need to stop by Diamond City. I need better music playing," Percy said carrying the holotapes in the bag.
"No. We need to head to fort hagen. There's something important we must get there first," Nora told Percy.
"That's true," Percy said, rubbing his chin.
"But did you know there's a settlement that needs your help," Percy smiled at her.
'fuck,' Nora cursed.
(End of chapter).
I have been playing ghost of tsushima a little to much, so I might base him off Jin.
