Chapter 57 - Chapter 57 : Shock ll

Angelia stood before Linggis, the desert night breeze tousling her golden hair, which shimmered under the moonlight. Her expression was gentle, yet a faint sorrow lingered behind her smile.

"I'm sorry, Linggis," she said in a calm yet resolute voice. "You will never be able to return to being a man."

Linggis stared at her in shock, almost unable to believe what he had just heard. "What do you mean? Isn't this just about my body? I'm still me, right?"

Angelia shook her head slowly. "No. Your soul and body have now completely changed. Your gender, both physically and spiritually, has been fully aligned with your new form. You are a woman now, Linggis. Forever."

Linggis fell silent, trying to process this reality. But before he could speak, Angelia stepped closer, gazing at him with warmth in her eyes.

"But listen to me," Angelia continued, her smile softening. "I still love you, no matter what form you take. Even if you're a woman now, I still want you to be my husba— I mean, my wife. Just wait until my seal is lifted... and I will return for you."

Before Linggis could respond, a coffin appeared once more from the empty air behind Angelia. A mysterious aura enveloped the surroundings as the coffin's lid slowly opened. Without hesitation, Angelia stepped back into it, her face still carrying that gentle smile.

"I will be waiting for you, Linggis. Until then, live your new life well."

The coffin slowly closed, then vanished entirely, leaving the desert in silence once again. Linggis just stood there, staring at the spot where Angelia had been moments ago, before finally letting out a long sigh.

Linggis sat on a chair in Sola's apartment, her face looking exhausted yet still radiating a breathtaking beauty. Her long black hair cascaded down her back, slightly bothering her since she wasn't used to its length yet.

Sola stood before her, holding a pastel-colored bra. She smiled mischievously as she watched Linggis, who looked awkward. "Alright, let's get started. This isn't magic, you know."

Linggis stared at the bra with a serious expression, as if preparing for battle. "Are you sure this is necessary?"

"Trust me, it's absolutely necessary," Sola replied with a giggle. "You can't just go outside with a body like that without wearing this. The world won't let you live in peace."

Sola stepped closer, then demonstrated how to properly hold the bra. "Look, you have to fasten the clasp at the back. Lift it slightly so it fits snugly."

Linggis tried to follow the instructions, but her hands felt clumsy, and she nearly dropped the bra. "Why is this harder than fighting an Devil?" she muttered in frustration.

Sola chuckled softly, then moved behind Linggis to help. With practiced ease, she fastened the bra. "Because this is an art, Linggis. It takes practice."

Once the bra was properly in place, Sola patted Linggis's shoulder. "There, all done. How does it feel? Comfortable?"

Linggis shifted slightly, feeling something odd. "Honestly... it feels like armor, but tighter."

Sola laughed again and walked in front of her. "You'll get used to it. Don't worry."

Linggis looked at herself in the large mirror before them. Her new appearance was completely different— a beautiful face, a slender body, and simple yet elegant clothing that now fit perfectly. She took a deep breath before turning to Sola.

"Thank you," she said softly.

Sola smiled warmly, then sat beside her. "Don't overthink it, Linggis. I'm here to help you. You're not just my husb— I mean, wife, but also my partner. We'll face all of this together."

Linggis remained silent for a moment before finally giving a small smile. "In that case, I'll rely on you for this part."

Sola laughed again, satisfied with the slow but steady change in the new Linggis. "Good. Now, let's try on some other outfits. I'm sure you'll look amazing."

Linggis could only sigh again, realizing that her new life with Sola would be full of completely new—and awkward—experiences.
