Linggis stood with a cold smile, his aura growing more intense. The ground beneath his feet began to crack, while sparks of electricity surrounding his body scattered bursts of energy in every direction. The silver-haired woman, known as Elysiaa, remained calm, though her eyes carefully tracked Linggis's every move.
"I've always wondered," Linggis said, his tone mocking. "What makes someone like you sit at the top of the hunters of this world? Is it your power? Their fear of you? Or maybe… they're just too stupid to notice your weaknesses?"
Elysiaa didn't respond to Linggis's provocation. Instead, she raised her hand, creating a glowing blue magic circle in the air. The light spun rapidly, generating immense pressure that balanced the dark energy surrounding Linggis.
"My weakness?" Elysiaa finally spoke, her voice calm yet full of authority. "Say what you will. But I am here to stop you. And I will do so by any means necessary."
Linggis shrugged, stepping forward slowly. "Stop me? They've all tried, and look at what happened to them." He glanced at Seo, Han, and Rin, who were still struggling to stand after his earlier attack. "You know, I almost feel sorry for them. Almost."
Suddenly, Linggis swung his hand forward. A black orb of energy, crackling with lightning, shot toward the woman. The orb moved not only with incredible speed but also emitted a destructive aura that split the ground beneath its path.
Elysiaa swiftly moved her hand, spinning the blue magic circle in front of her to create a shield. The energy orb collided with the shield, causing a massive explosion that made the surrounding air tremble. She didn't flinch, though the force pushed her back a few steps.
"You're quite strong," Linggis said with a tone of praise, though his eyes carried something far more sinister. "But surely you know, strength alone isn't enough to defeat me."
Linggis suddenly disappeared, reappearing behind Elysiaa with incredible speed. His cane swung toward her head, but she turned just in time, blocking the attack with her glowing blue arm. "Clang!" The sound of the clash echoed, and the force of the strike shattered the ground beneath them.
"You talk too much," Elysiaa said coldly, pushing Linggis back with a powerful surge of energy. He was thrown several meters away but landed lightly, as if unfazed.
"And you're too quiet. It makes you boring," Linggis retorted with a sly grin.
Before Linggis could continue his attack, Seo's weak voice broke the tension. "I… will kill you… Linggis…"
Linggis slowly turned his head, his eyes filled with disdain. "You people really don't know when to give up." He raised his hand, a small spark forming at his fingertip. With a flick of his finger, he unleashed the lightning toward Seo.
But before the lightning could reach Seo, Elysiaa had already moved, creating a blue barrier to protect Seo and the others. The lightning struck the shield but failed to penetrate it.
Linggis frowned, his expression turning serious for the first time. "You're really testing my patience."
Elysiaa lowered the shield, her gaze sharp as it locked onto Linggis. "I'm not here to test your patience. I'm here to end your threat."
Linggis let out a small laugh, but this time it was colder, more menacing. "Then show me what you've got, Elysiaa. But I'll make sure you regret standing in my way today."
With a single motion, Linggis leapt into the air, gathering an enormous mass of dark energy in his hands. Elyssia sensed the intensity of the incoming attack and immediately prepared her strongest spell. Their battle had now reached its peak, their powers capable of leveling the entire battlefield.
