It was yet another beautiful morning in Tokyo, Japan.
Kazuki Katsuragi, a boy in his teens was on his way to school. He was a normal teenage boy, who was shy and an introvert. He had no friends in class and was usually alone, finding solace inside himself.
At last, he reached his class and went on to sit on his seat. No one came to talk to him and as such, he just sat there keeping his notebook open and dreaming.
"Get back to your seats. The class will start now!" A voice of a man in his early 40s rang out. This stern man was their teacher who took Mathematics and as usual, the whole class was boring for all the people there, except nerds who were feverishly scribbling notes.
Kazuki didn't pay much attention to the class and stared absentmindedly through the window, into the school ground.

After a tedious day, the bell rang and the class was over for the day and all students in the class were either running to home or waiting for the friends to come with them.
Kazuki didn't want to do anything with these people and as such, slowly walked out of his class, on his way home.
As he was walking across a park, he decided to stop there for some time and wait for his sister to come. His sister too attended the same school as him, but was a year younger. He waited for her to come while resting under a lush green tree.
After a while, he heard her talking to someone. Kazuki turned and saw that his sister was talking to her friend and laughing merrily as they joked about something.
As Kazuki's attention was drawn towards the girl with his sister, he realised that it was the little sister of his crush. His crush, Yumini was considered to be one of the leading girls in school in terms of her beauty. As such, many boys tried to confess to her and got rejected. She was also nicknamed "Ice Queen" due to her indifference towards boys and her neutral expression. The only person she warmed up to was her own little sister.
Despite her being his crush, she didn't approach her nor send any anonymous love letter, fearing her rejection, as he was an introvert.
Staying out of his sister's sight, Kazuki went home as he decided it was best to not meet with his sister until she reached home.
As soon as he stepped into his home, he heard his phone ring and the caller was his sister. Wondering what would be the reason, he attended the call.
"Brother, I am going to go with my friend to eat dinner at Shibuya Crossing. Sorry for not telling you this earlier and not preparing dinner for you." His sister's sweet voice rang in his ears.
Kazuki, being a doting brother replied, "It's okay. Have fun with your friend." Saying this, the call ended and Kazuki went on to make cup noodles for his dinner. His cooking skills were practically nonexistent and cup noodles was the only edible thing he could make.
Soon, it was 8:00. Kazuki dressed himself up in a light shirt and pant and exited his home in order to make sure his sister was okay. His worry for sister's safety was real and he wanted to check on her.
He walked towards "Shibuya Crossing", where his sister said she was eating and saw her chatting happily with her friend. Just as he was about to leave to buy some necessities for home, he happened to see an unexpected person with her sister.
It was Yumini. She was sitting alongside his sister and taking part in this gathering. It was a great surprise for Kazuki. He never expected to see her alongside his sister.
'Should I go on and talk to her? I won't be disturbing her since I came to pick my sister. Maybe we can get to know each other better.' He thought but immediately he removed this from his mind as he was sure he would stutter as soon as she gazed upon him, be it be friendly or not.
As such, he walked towards the nearby convenience store in order to buy some necessities.
Meanwhile somewhere in the universe, a bewitching lady dressed in black was lying around lazily on her bed. She was watching a round sphere which emitted a strange light, somewhat flickering.
"The world is a boring and bland place. Nothing interests me there." She muttered as she took this sphere in her hands. As she was gazing at this mysterious sphere lazily, a small drop of tear from her eyes trickled down. It fell directly onto the sphere and got absorbed.
This bewitching lady wasn't aware of this as her attention was grabbed by an uninvited guest who entered her realm. Her face was clouded with disinterest towards the guest as she put away this sphere.
Meanwhile on Earth, a mysterious smoke was spreading. A thick light pink smoke first started around the subway and started to spread, enveloping the whole area with it. The people, however were oblivious to this as they continued to walk through the smoke as if they couldn't see its existence.
As Kazuki walked towards the convenience store, the smoke had already spread around it. At first Kazuki thought something was amiss but he couldn't put a finger into what it was. It was only much later that he saw the smoke covering him all over. The pink smoke was so thick that he felt like being inside a cotton cushion.
Kazuki frantically tried to escape from this situation but it was meaningless as wherever he went, all he could see was this thick smoke. He tried to yell but no one came to save him nor could he hear his own voice.
After running frantically for a while, he happened to see a bright light in front of him, a couple of metres away. He rushed towards it and saw that it was some white orb. As soon as he touched it, the bright light enlarged itself and blinded him. He closed his eyes reflexively.
The next second, he disappeared along with the mysterious smoke. There was no trace of it anywhere.

Somewhere in the universe, a boy in his teens fell down from a height of one metre. The impact woke him up as he groaned in pain.
'Where am I? A forest? It's different from the ones I know near my city.' He thought as he looked around the forest he was currently in.
~rustle~ ~rustle~
He heard the rustling of the bush behind him. He turned over and saw that an animal, looking like a dog but not a dog was running towards him with its mouth open. It was larger than the dogs he knew.
Seeing that this animal had no intention of stopping, this boy started running around in order to escape from it. from it.
