Chapter 14 - Chapter 14: Fragments of Lost History- Dark Flame, Mana, Divine.

The Earth was a realm in constant upheaval—where demons and humans had fought for centuries, each seeking to claim dominance. At the heart of the chaos stood the human leader, Aelric Valorian—an impossibly handsome warrior whose strength and beauty drew the gaze of even the most powerful beings, but it was not only his appearance that captivated him; it was his raw power, a force so compelling that it could not be ignored.

Among those who could not look away was Elysia Astryra, the sister of the Demon King. Zepharion Astryra. A gorgeous woman in the land. A proud demoness, she had fought in countless wars, her heart as cold and unyielding as the lands she ruled. But Aelric was different. His presence sparked something within her, an emotion she had never known—a desire that transcended the battlefield.

Elysia's love was a forbidden love. Against her world, the Demon King could not allow such a union. But as days turned to weeks and weeks to months. His sister's longing grew. It was no longer a mere desire, but a consuming need that threatened to unravel the very fabric of their world.

The Gods and goddesses sensed the rising tensions and knew that war would only bring nothing but ruin. The goddesses of Balance, Creator of the Land. Devised the plan. Their idea was radical and dangerous, but it was the only hope for peace. They suggested that Elysia marry Aelric. Through this union, they believed the demons and human could unite, ending the bloody conflict that had torn their worlds apart.

This idea God presented was simple but bold: a pact between the demons and humans. The terms were simple. The demons would remain in the underworld, and the humans would keep their place on earth. Both sides would live separately. Each maintains its domain. Most importantly, neither side would break the pact, nor would harm the other. If either side violated the agreement, they would bring destruction upon themselves.

Aelric, bound by duty to his people, had no choice but to accept. The demon king's pride was another matter entirely. Zepharion, unwilling to trust humans or their promises, initially rejected the notion of peace. But his only blood, his sister he loved the most, Elysia, who had already felt the stirring of love for Aelric, pleaded with him. After much turmoil, Zepharion finally relented, and the Treaty of Coexistence was signed.

The pact marked the end of the war, but it came at a substantial cost. The demons were forced to remain in the underworld, their power and influence confined to the dark corners of the real. The human, led by Aelric, would live in peace on earth, free from the threat of demonic forces.

Human leader Aelric was already bound to another, a human wife named Camellia Liora. One marriage was loved once, then one was not love but of duty, and from it came four children—born of his both wives. Elysia had two girls, and Camellia had a son and a daughter.

As years passed, peace remained; The Firstborn Daughter of Elysia, Lilith, was a child unlike any other. Dark flames cracked around her from the moment she was born. Everyone called her Lilith Darkflames. A power that burned fiercely, much like her demon heritage. Her sister Isolde was no less powerful. She, too, inherited the dark forces that swirled within their family's bloodlines, though hers was darker, more destructive magic.

"Demon woman's child's Demons."

Her father's neglect toward his demon-born children stung like an open wound, a wound that festered with every passing year. Elysia was dead when Isolde was born. A kind Lilith didn't pay attention to him, but Isolde held deep resentment.

The illusion of peace began to crumble. Aelric focused on his human heirs, doesn't care for his demon-born children. He bestowed all his love and power upon Kaelen, and Serenelle, children of his loved one wife. Lilith and Isolde were cast aside. Left to fend for themselves in a world that saw them as nothing more than weapons.

His third daughter grew bitter with every passing day. Her resentment grew and soon whispers of powers that promised her the throne of Earth. Consumed by these dark forces, Isolde began a rebellion, one that would tear apart the very fabric of her family.

"I'll take you from the most cherished things in your world. I'll never forgive what you did to us."

Lilith wasn't interested in the War of Thrones. His uncle. Zepharion made his choice. Lilith, the kind and most powerful to be crowned the queen of the underworld. The light in the darkness. And her half-brother won the battle for the throne. But he lost his father. Isolde killed him. And goddesses made him the First Emperor of the world. Kaelen Thalas. His sister Serenelle was to be a saintess, a symbol of hope for her world.

Though she lost the throne and killed his father, his uncle accepted her and crowned her the second demon queen in the world. Her fury and hatred for humans grew. She rejected the treaty. Her bitterness is now a permanent mark in the underworld.

From this war, dark magic, divine power, and mana were born. Began to wield in the human world the dark powers. A terrifying force that could bend the worlds to their will.

Years passed in this meant the war between demons and humans hadn't happened. Demon Queen Lilith had vanished. No one knew where she had gone. But in the year 1421 CE, once again, humanity faced a crucial battle. Second Demon Queen Isolde Astryra, Attacked the Thalassian Concord empire. In the battle, Isolde fought desperately against what sought to contain her. It was then that the Former Master of the magic Tower, Lucius and Elyriana the saintess—joined forces to seal away the second queen's power, locking her in artefacts [Divine jewel] where no one could ever release her. And that time the Emperor ordered if anyone used dark magic, they were executed.

Present day.

"Hiccup…Hic."

The muffled cry of the child's voice reached in Elara's ears. She was trapped in her mind. Sound of despair, the verge of a scream. In the corner of her mind, a little child was crying and whispering. "I want to disappear in the mansion," continuously she said.

Elara's eyes locked her on. She felt heavy emotions in that child's. That child was Elara, back then when she was in South Korea, that time she was 10 years old. When her stepbrothers locked her in a wardrobe. For eight hours she was in there, and no one tried to search her. Later on, her stepmother who comes back to the office she was found her.

"If it weren't, Mother, I would have been done that long ago." Elara strolled into the place.

One by one, memories faded in the place. Other images entered her mind; an image of a man she had never seen before, wearing a royal suit, and smiling.

"What is all of this? Aren't my memories!"

Within the depths of her mind, Elara was lost. Trapped in an abyss of shadows, tears streamed down her face. She was drowning in a place without light, her soul suffocating under the weight of despair.

But then—a voice.

"Ela…"

"Lady Elara"

"Lady Elara"

"Ugh…."

Suddenly, her eyes opened, her vision blurred momentarily. She found herself in a soft bed that she once used. She saw a woman and child burst into tears.

"Why.. is that am I in pain? My back and neck are hurting and it feels like… I can't breathe!"

Her vision sharpened, "Who are you and?"

She pushed the blanket aside, pressing her hands against her aching temples. "Ah… my head… why does it hurt? What happened to me?"

She noticed the white nightgown she wore, unfamiliar and crisp. Elara scanned the room.

Elara tried to get her memories together, and the accident that happened to her popped into her mind. She was covered in dark flames.

"Does it hurt, my lady?" the woman asked gently.

Elara glanced at the woman;

"I'm Lily, my lady; lord Orian was breaking our seal, and we became human." Lily introduced her and her brother.

"Lily…Zeil? Chatterboxes butterflies?" "I get it, and this noodles hair boy is Zeil, right?"

"What is that?" Zeil and Lily said in a low voice.

"It's nothing, it's nothing. Anyway, where am I now?"

Elara asked her before she replied, The door to the room opened, and a voice came, "Why are you standing in there, Miss Elara?"
