Warning: Graphic Violence
"Wait a second!" yelled Adriel.
He took a step forward ahead of the group. It was so cold.
Ash's mere glance made his hands tremble.
"Go ahead, speak." said Ash calmly. His hand reached down and pulled out the black and blue pistol from his holster.
"Look we don't need to do this alright? Can't we just talk?" asked Adriel.
His eyes were wide. His body shook from the air. His lips were chapped.
"You want to talk? To me?" Ash laughed. He raised his firearm at Adriel.
"Trying to speak to me is foolish when I've made up my mind! Now rest. Your suffering has ended with me."
Ash pressed the trigger. Crack!
The shot echoed through the chamber. The knights covered their ears as they rang.
Adriel looked down. A small hole began to drip blood in his shoulder.
He began to shake as he yelled in agony.
Small crystals of ice pegan to protrude from the skin that surrounded the hole.
A sudden shatter was heard.
Everyone went quiet as they looked in horror at Adriel.
His arm and a chunk of his torso were gone. Blood poured onto the floor as Adriel turned his head to look at them in shock.
His exposed muscles and bone began to writhe and pulse. His muscle fibers grew longer as they began to reattach. His lung began to reconstruct itself. The blood stopped as a new layer of muscle and bone replaced what he had lost.
Adriel coughed.
New flesh began to grow over the exposed muscle. He was fully healed.
Ash laughed, "A dévourer with the blessing of life?"
His tone deepened in seriousness, "How annoying. You must think you're immortal. Well I hope by the end of this you'll see how mortal you truly are."
Lykos stood at guard.
Zahira pulled out her dagger, and Iaceo reached into his pocket to retrieve his needle and wire.
Dania shook. She couldn't concentrate. A mere bullet destroyed Adriels body.
If it wasn't for his blessing, he'd be dead.
Dania's body began to glow yellow as thunder could be heard from the outside.
"An articant as well? Maybe this won't be so boring after all. You knights are such an interesting group this time." said Ash.
He began walking closer to them. It was as if time had slowed for them. Before they knew it Ash had closed the distance. They couldn't react by the time a massive glacier of ice hit all of them.
They were sent flying. Lykos could taste the metal of his blood as he stood up from the ground.
Dania managed to dodge and threw a punch to Ash's surprise.
The punch landed with a roaring crash as he was sent flying across the chamber.
He recuperated mid air as he landed on his feet. The top of his eye was cut and his mask slightly damaged.
"I underestimated you guys. Especially you two." Ash said.
Ash turned and caught Zahira's hand swinging down at Ash as she tried to stab him.
Ash hit Iaceo with a beam of ice into his chest. He became unconscious as the ice began to freeze him.
"Your stealth is impressive, but I've seen so much after so many years." Ash Put his foot behind Zahira and slammed her onto the floor.
Zahira coughed in pain.
Ash raised his fist. A long blade of ice formed on the tip of his knuckle.
The blade descended down at a blinding speed towards Zahira's eye as she whimpered in fear.
She closed her eyes as she flinched, but felt no pain.
She opened them to see a black and purple blade in front of her face. Above her stood Adriel, holding his sword blocking the strike.
Lykos came to intervene in the moment of hesitation between everyone.
"Ignis Wraith!" yelled Lykos.
A massive fiery magic circle appeared in front of him as a Large burning skeleton emerged from it.
It pulled itself out of the circle as it screeched. Its fiery skull stared down Ash.
It lunged after him, grabbing him and pulling him off Zahira.
He struggled trying to push the burning monster away. The room shook as a blinding fireball erupted from where the Wraith stood as it exploded.
When the smog cleared, Ash stood mildly burned, his clothes ripped and charred.
Half his mask was destroyed revealing his mouth. They all looked at him in disgust.
He had no lips. His teeth were exposed and his gums pulsated.
Ash shook his eyes looking at them manically, "Mother,"
He took off his mask revealing the rest of his malformed mouth, "My Mother's love."
"What the hell are you talking about!" yelled Lykos, his body shook as well and his voice was strained.
"His mother's love. His mask was filled with his mothers love." said Adriel as he remembered the visions he saw.
"He wore it when he was afraid. It protected him. We broke it." continued Adriel. He stepped forward towards Ash.
"That's insane! He's insane!" Replied Lykos.
Ash began to laugh before he suddenly stopped, "Mother. I no longer need your love. I'm no longer afraid. If only you could be here to witness such an occasion."
The air became colder. Colder than it already was.
Small specks of ice glimmered in the air.
Everyone froze as they felt the pressure in the atmosphere tense.
"I'm no longer afraid." Ash repeated.
Adriel lunged at him with his blade. From thin air, Ash manifested his own sword; one made of ice.
Their blades clash as they swung at each other.
Dania tried to fire beams of energy at Ash, but he manifested walls of packed ice to absorb them while fighting with Adriel.
Adriel and Ash got into a bind. They stared into eachothers eyes before Ash pierced Adriel with his knee.
He had produced a long spike of Ice as it dug deeper into Adriel's gut. Blood seeped out of the wound as Adriel staggered in pain, his knee still logged into him.
He slashed down, cutting into him. Ash rammed his fist into the wound and squeezed his stomach before yanking it out the rest of his entrails following suit.
Ash looked to Adriels agonized and shocked eyes.
Adriel convulsed as his body began to repair itself.
Ash changed his attention to Lykos, but before he could attack Zahira sent a ball of condensed darkness at him.
He dodged it and gripped her head as ice exploded from his palm.
Zahira had become incapacitated.
Dania ran at Ash. Ash dodged her strikes as she meticulously calculated her punches and kicks.
She managed to catch him with a punch to his liver.
Ash groaned in pain before slashing her face with a claw of ice.
"Stupid girl!" yelled Ash as he continued to slash at her face.
Dania yelled in pain as blood covered her face. She began to choke as iron filled her throat.
Lykos managed to interfere. He hit him with a loud thud as his fire enveloped fist crashed into Ash's face.
His face burnt and became leathery where the fist had landed on his cheek.
"You keep you fucking hands of her bastard!" yelled Lykos in rage.
"I'll kill you all!" yelled Ash.
They clashed fists. Each one countering and dodging each other's punches and kicks.
Ash tried to hit him with a blast of ice, but Lykos countered with his own blast of fire.
"Non verbal casting of magic. You're an impressive magic user I must say. "
"Although I wouldn't expect any less from a knight. Now then you overgrown dog it's time you sit down already." said Ash.
Ash growled as fire covered his body. His wolf features ignited in a bright orange fire.
Ash recuperated as a cold blue aura manifested around him.
Adriel managed to recover.
He stood up, his wounds healed, but he was tired. His mind was in anguish. It yelled at him to stay down.
This pain. It was unbearable.
Adriel slowly walked toward the fight between Lykos and Ash.
He watched as Lykos could barely keep up.
Ash fought him with ease.
Adriel closed his eyes as ice began to manifest on his palm.
He opened them, his body relaxed.
He waved his hand.
A massive spike of ice emerged from the ground piercing Ash though the chest.
Lykos took advantage of Ash's shock as he pushed him deeper into the spike as the wound expanded.
His lung and heart were pierced. Blood dripped down from the spike.
Lykos looked at him furious as a large magic circle appeared beneath Ash.
This was the end.
"os inferni" yelled Lykos.
The magic circle glowed then stopped. Nothing happened. Lykos flames exhausted. And the cold took over once more.
Ash began to laugh, "You idiots. I'm not done!" he coughed, blood spurting from his mouth, but managed to push himself off the spike.
You could see his small intensities hang from his gaping wound as he swayed back and forth. He was soaked in his own blood and others.
He looked at them as he smirked, his face in pain, "Consonance."
Large wings of ice sprouted from his back. His body began enveloped in an icey suit of plated armor. Ice grew from his neck and wrapped around his mouth like a mask. His eyes became sharper and a brighter blue.
His hands now had gloves of ice, The fingers sharpened into claws.
His feet became ice and became an anisodactyl shape.
Everyone shook in fear as he levitated off the ground. Five massive canons of Ice floated around him.
This was consonance.
