The women continued their conversation, still blissfully unaware of the fact that the woman listening to them was Taylor and Skyler's sister.
"Jackson Lee is so hot," one of the women said with a dreamy sigh.
"I know, right?" another woman chimed in.
"He's like the perfect man."
The other women nodded in agreement, swooning over Jackson Lee's looks and talent.
"But the other Tina of the Cold Aura novel she is an outstanding writer!" a woman who was a huge fan of Tina even though no one knows who she was.
The other women nodded, agreeing with the fan.
"Yeah, the author of The Cold Aura novel is a genius. Her writing is so captivating," one of the women chimed in.
"And the characters she writes about are so real and complex," another woman said.
The fan gushed about how much she loved Tina's writing and how she can't wait to see the movie adaptation of The Cold Aura.
"Tina is a true talent. I wonder what she looks like though," the fan said.
The other women agreed, curious about the mysterious author of The Cold Aura novel.
When the three series of the book came out Tina disappeared and stopped writing.
Sterling and Angel were finished looked at the three woman who moved away they just now notice Laura who was standing. But they didn't pay her to much mind but they did notice she was a stunning beauty.
Laura looked up from her phone and noticed that her children had finished using the restroom.
"Alright, are you two done?" she asked.
Angel and Sterling nodded, walking out of the stall and over to their mother.
"Wash your hands, oh by the you three woman you out to get a better idol," Laura said she walked out of the bathroom after she said this it's good that her half sisters are famous the higher they climb the harder they would fall.
"Mama they were talking about you!" Angel said.
"Yes and I don't care to much I stopped writing a year and half ago and it should stay that way," Laura said.
"Mama, you are just hopeless," Sterling said as he patted his mama hand who chuckled helpless how can…?
Laura chuckled at her son's comment.
"And you are both brats," she said, ruffling their hair affectionately.
Angel and Sterling pouted, pretending to be offended by their mother's words. But they secretly enjoyed her playful banter.
There was a man who was standing there but his words were cruel and Laura heard them.
"Where is that ugly pig? How come she isn't here yet?" Nick asked coldly he checked his watched he felt so angry. Laura eyes were emotionless she wore her face mask and stared at Nick.
"I can't believe it that ugly bitch hasn't even broken off the engagement I bet she still wants to marry me," Nick said his assistant Jack looked at Nick.
"Don't worry you will be marrying Lady Zia, she is a genius among her peers and a true beauty," Jack said.
"I know right if only that fatso was as half as beautiful as her sister," Nick said.
"Laura Frost," Angel said as she read the name on the sign. Jack and Nick looked a adorable five year old little girl her hair were in pigtails she wore a face mask her eyes were mix of grayish emerald green color.
Nick and Jack were taken aback by the sight of the little girl.
"Where did this kid come from?" Nick asked, looking at the girl with confusion.
Jack shook his head, equally bewildered.
"I don't know. She just appeared out of nowhere," he said.
The two men were both curious and slightly wary of the little girl.
Nick saw a beautiful slender woman looking at him of course Laura didn't introduce herself and Nick was unaware this beautiful woman was Laura she made fun of just now.
"Mama did your angelic princess say it right?" Sterling said putting his finger away from his coding game. Angel put her hands on her hips.
"Yes sweetie you said the name right," Laura said she had a beautiful mixed accent of French and Italian. Her eyes were bright with nothing pure adoration toward her daughter. Nick heart beat so fast.
"Sir are you to pick…."
Nick threw the sign away so fast.
"No way I am not here to pick up that ugly pig Laura," Nick said. Sterling and Angel stared at each other their faces became so cold. What part of their mama was ugly or fat?
"Mister you are blind," Angel said as she shook her head.
"As blind as a little fish," Sterling add the two siblings sneered at this man.
Nick narrowed his eyes and looked at the little girl closely.
"Hey kid, where are your parents?" he asked.
Angel looked at Nick with her big innocent eyes.
"I'm with my mama," she said, pointing at Laura.
Laura just stared Nick indifferently. Nick looked at the beautiful woman and he found wanting to know more about this woman who is wearing a face mask. Laura didn't want to bother with this person. She took her kids hands and she walked passed Nick and Jack. They will wait for a long than for that ugly fatty.
As Laura, Angel, and Sterling got into the taxi, Nick and Jack were left behind, bewildered by the encounter.
"Who was that woman?" Nick asked, still baffled by the stunning woman who had just walked by.
Jack shrugged, equally confused.
"I don't know. She's a beautiful woman with two cute kids," he said.
Nick's eyes were fixated on the taxi that was driving away. The woman's beauty had left a strong impression on him.
Laura sat in the backseat of the taxi with her children. She was still wearing her face mask, but her expression was cold and emotionless.
Angel and Sterling were still angry at what Nick had said about their mother.
"Mama, why did that uncle call you a fatty and ugly?" Angel asked, her voice filled with anger.
"Because mama had problems with her body but is your mama ugly now my angelic princess and devilish prince?" Laura asked her kids who snorted out with a laughter.
"Mama you are so beautiful people mistake you for being our older sister!" The twins shouted in unison.
Laura chuckled at her kids' response. She knew that she had changed a lot in the past six years.
"Thank you, my sweet babies," she said, ruffling their hair affectionately.
Angel and Sterling smiled, basking in their mother's affection. They loved how beautiful their mother was, and they were proud to have her as their parent.
The taxi stopped in front of the luxurious hotel, and the driver turned around to look at Laura.
"We're here," he said.
Laura nodded and handed him a few bills.
"Keep the change," she said, opening the car door and getting out.
Angel and Sterling followed suit, and the three of them walked into the hotel.
