The Rawat family arrives at Chauhan Bhavan, where Suvesh ji welcomes them with a smile. Harsh, too, greets everyone warmly, pretending to be cordial. Sudha ji and Saumya bring tea and snacks from the kitchen and serve everyone. Sunanda ji notices Sudha ji and says, "Please sit down, we'll serve ourselves." Sudha ji smiles slightly and takes a seat, followed by Saumya. Harsh discreetly signals Saumya to get up, and she obliges, moving to the side.
After a while, Adarsh ji suggests calling Sanskriti. Suvesh ji nods to Sudha ji, who goes to fetch Sanskriti. Sanskriti is standing by the window, lost in thought, when Sudha ji arrives and says, "Come, beta (dear), the groom's family is waiting." Sanskriti turns around, her eyes welling up, and Sudha ji reassures her:
"Don't worry, they seem like good people. They're educated and respectful towards their daughter-in-law, unlike your previous in-laws. I've spoken to them, and they appear genuine. Just observe and see for yourself. If you're not comfortable, I won't agree to this."
Sanskriti nods, composing herself, and follows Sudha ji.
As they enter the living room, everyone is chatting and waiting for Sanskriti. Sangeeta ji takes Sanskriti's hand, leading her to sit between Ishika and Sunanda ji, while Sudha ji follows quietly, accustomed to Sangeeta ji's behavior.
Sunanda ji affectionately touches Sanskriti's cheeks and says, "You have a lovely daughter." Sanskriti looks up, seeing genuine warmth in Sunanda ji's eyes, and feels at ease.
Just then, Aksh, sitting in Ishika's lap, grabs Sanskriti's dupatta, pulling her attention away from Sunanda ji. Sanskriti looks at Aksh, and her lips curve into a smile.
Ishika smiles and says, "Hello, bhabhi (sister-in-law)! I'm Ishika, your future devrani (husband's brother's wife), and Mahir's wife. This is our son, Aksh."
Sanskriti smiles slightly and replies, "Hello... He's very cute, just like you."
Ishika smiles and says, "It's okay, bhabhi, you can call me 'tum' (informal you); after all, you're older than me in our relationship."
Sanskriti nods, looks down, and sits quietly.
Mahir then greets Sanskriti, "Hello, bhabhi! I'm Mahir Rawat, Advait's younger brother."
Sanskriti smiles faintly and responds, "Hello."
Adarsh ji introduces himself, "And I'm Advait's father, Adarsh Rawat. Suvesh ji must have told you about us."
Sanskriti's smile fades; she thinks to herself, "He only ordered me to get married; he didn't tell me anything about the boy or his family." She nods silently.
Everyone takes turns conversing with Sanskriti, carefully avoiding questions about her previous marriage, not wanting to make her uncomfortable. Their this thoughtful consideration impresses Sanskriti.
After a long conversation, Adarsh ji casually mentions, "Consider the relationship settled, Suvesh ji. However, Advait wants to meet Sanskriti alone tomorrow at the café, if that's alright with you?"
Suvesh ji looks at Sangeeta ji, who nods in agreement. Suvesh ji then says, "Okay... Please let me know the time, and I'll bring Sanskriti myself."
Adarsh ji nods and stands up, saying, "Alright, we'll take your leave now. We'll call you soon to discuss further after Advait makes his decision." Suvesh ji also stands up, nods in agreement, and shakes hands with Adarsh ji. Everyone bids each other farewell and leaves.
After they depart, Saumya closes the door and enters. Suvesh ji sternly tells Sanskriti, "Nothing should go wrong tomorrow, Sanskriti. Handle it just like you did today. Understand?" Sanskriti nods silently, and Sudha ji takes her to their room.
After they leave, Sangeeta ji sits on the sofa, eating samosas from the table and says, "Bhaiya, don't you think this girl will create trouble? It's good you're going with her; stay with her all the time." Suvesh ji nods thoughtfully and heads to his room.
Harsh glances at Sangeeta ji and retires to his room. Sangeeta ji continues eating, noticing Saumya standing nearby. She says curtly, "What's this? Will you even cast a spell on food? Can't I just have my food in peace? Just get lost you cursed women" Saumya silently left to the kitchen.
The day passes uneventfully. At night, after completing her chores, Saumya visits Sanskriti's room to chat but finds her asleep. She gently strokes Sanskriti's hair, turns off the lights, and leaves.
In her room, Harsh sits on the bed, drinking. Seeing Saumya, he asks angrily, "Where were you? I've been waiting for you! Do you think I'm a fool? You know your place, don't you?" Saumya replies fearfully, "I was finishing kitchen work; it took some time."
Harsh puts down his glass, pulls Saumya close, and says, "Don't lie to me. I know you visit your sister every night. Why you deceive me? You know I hate lies." Saumya pleads, "Please forgive me; I'll always tell the truth from now on."
Harsh grabs Saumya's hair, his fist clenched, and says angrily, "You always do this! You're always behind your sister! Wait today I will give you a lesson then you will not be able to deceive me."
Saumya, crying, folds her hands and pleads, "Please leave me! It won't happen again, I promise." Harsh smiles, seeing her tears, and says, "This is all I needed to see... It gives me peace to see you like this." He releases her hair, lies down comfortably, and Saumya wipes her tears, feeling relieved, and lies beside him, crying silently about her fate.
At Rawat House, Advait returns from the office at night and finds Anvi sleeping in his lap. Everyone else is having dinner. Sunanda ji says, "Beta (Son), come have dinner." Advait replies, "You eat Maa, I'm already full." He heads to his room.
Sunanda ji looks at Adarsh ji with tear-filled eyes and says, "What's my mistake? I just want to see my son happy." Adarsh ji lowers his head in regret. Ishika, sitting beside Sunanda ji, places her hand on hers to comfort her. Mahir quietly feeds Aksh.
In his room, Advait puts Anvi to bed and looks at Savani's photo, saying, "Tell me, am I doing the right thing? Doesn't it bother you that I'm remarrying? This is all for Anvi's sake; I'll never give that girl a place in my heart. This heart beats only for you and always will." But will this truly be the case? Let's see😊
The next day, Sangeeta ji made ready Sanskriti by herself as she doesn't want to give any reason to Advait to cancel this marriage. Then, Sanskriti leaves with Suvesh ji for the restaurant. They remain silent during the entire journey as their relationship is not like a normal father and daughter.
Sanskriti thinks about her future, while Suvesh ji hopes the relationship works out and prays to God for everything to go smoothly. The half-hour journey feels like an eternity to Sanskriti.
As the car stops outside the café, Sanskriti gets out, taking a sigh of relief. Suvesh ji also exits the car and calls Adarsh ji. After a few rings, Adarsh ji answers, "Yes, Suvesh ji, speak." Suvesh ji informs him, "We've arrived. We didn't have Advait's number, so I called you." Adarsh ji responds, "No worries, go inside and sit. I'll call Advait and check where he is."
Suvesh ji says "Alright" and hangs up the phone, then tells Sanskriti, "Let's go inside." Sanskriti follows him, and they enter the café, sitting down at a table to wait for Advait.
On the other side, Adarsh ji calls Advait and asks, "Advait, where are you?" Advait, having parked his car, replies, "Just arrived, Dad."
Adarsh ji instructs him, "Be nice to Suvesh ji... Don't punish someone for someone else's mistake." Advait takes a deep breath, saying, "Yes, Dad," before disconnecting the call.
Advait enters the café, unsure who Sanskriti and Suvesh ji are since he hasn't seen Sanskriti's photo. He calls Sunanda ji, who answers, "Beta (Son), you're at the café, right? Go meet them first." Advait asks, "Maa, (Mom) who is the girl? Please send me her photo or ask her father to come over."
Sunanda ji shakes her head, "You're impossible, Advait... Wait, I'll send you her photo. Her name is Sanskriti." She hangs up and sends the photo.
Upon receiving the photo, Advait searches for Sanskriti and finally spots her. He locks his phone, puts it away, and approaches their table.
Suvesh ji, looking at his phone, and Sanskriti, with her head bowed, sit quietly. Advait greets, "Namaste, Uncle."
Suvesh ji smiles, "Namaste, beta. Please sit."
Advait sits and asks bluntly, "If you don't mind, can you step outside? I need to talk to Sanskriti privately."
Suvesh ji hesitates but leaves not before sparing a stren glance with Sanskriti.
Once Suvesh ji departs, Advait faces Sanskriti and introduces himself, "Hello, I'm Advait Rawat."
Sanskriti looks up, "Hello, I'm Sanskriti Chauhan." Adwait suggests ordering first, then they can talk. After placing their orders, they sit in silence, unsure how to begin.
Advait clears his throat, "Look, I already have a six-month-old daughter as you have already been told by your father right? So, I'm doing this marriage for her sake. You'll have everything in my house - love, respect. Just don't expect anything from me. We'll make decisions together for Anvi's sake; otherwise, we'll be strangers." Sanskriti thinks, "Why would he tell me anything? He didn't even think it is necessary to share your name or that you has a daughter or that this is your second marriage."
Taking a deep breath, Sanskriti responds, "I'm ready for this marriage, and I don't need anything from you. Just promise me one thing - will you respect me?"
Advait asks, "What kind of promise?" Sanskriti looks away, "Just respect me. That's all I've never gotten. My first husband passed away a month ago. I hope you knew." Advait, unaware of her past, feigns knowledge, "Yes, I knew... And don't worry, I'll always respect you as my daughter's mother."
Sanskriti feels reassured, thinking Advait won't disrespect her like her father, brother-in-law, or first husband did. She trusts Advait's family and believes love will grow, but respect comes first.
