Upon the lamp light that perches on top of a PC. Typing and coding, a man who was exhausted but persevered. He was pouring everything into this game project called the "Isekai RPG".
It was the game that was ruled by the strong and they prey on the weak. The dog eat dog world and Rey knew the plotting of the game's story. It will be a fun ride to the players itself.
Though there's a problem to the company. The game developers were slowly one by one diminished or collapsed. Other quitted and went to find another jobs that could pay them well and not work being underpaid. Also, they want a better work place and not pressured.
It was Hell in there, the workloads of the developers there was overburdened. They thought that they could not make it. Making their clicks of taps heard echoing in their work place.
Rey Ivanov, or what our main protagonist was named, a man in his prime, was finishing the game as he was the head developer of the dev team. He was assigned to the Skill making of the team. Making finishing touches to the game before the deadline. It was a very pressuring task as each skill must attune with the game structure and not buggy. Also balancing the skills would be a tad hard and the unbalanced gameplay was a possibility. Some would exploit the game if they would have a buggy or overpowered gameplay. Either skills or characters. They should be tested first but they were in a hurry. This would pose problems in the future if he would just think about it.
Until, done. The game was finalized with just his own. He made a run to the game and it worked! And also, they even have spare time to eat and celebrate for this night.
"Finally! At last, we finished before the release date! Bwahahahah!" Rey smirked.
The rest of the team was also yelling and clapping their hands. All thanks to their hero, Rey. They went in glee and celebrated.
Woohoo! Thank you so much, Rey!
Rey! The drinks are on me!
We should celebrate and eat kebabs and Wagyu!
Let's make a toast for Rey!
For Rey!
The team of developers was all on edge after so many days of unrest and pressure from the upper ranks. The game has to be released or else they will not get an allowance for many months. Such a cruel company that only thinks of its reputation and profit.
It was a merry mood until Rey felt dizzy and collapsed on the floor. All were perplexed but they immediately took care of Rey. His head spun and his heart ached like it was being purged.
"Take him to the hospital! Now!" Their boss shouted.
Immediately all was taken care of. Until Rey woke up once again and it was a bright light that he saw. He was confused as to what was happening. Making him question what happened. Not knowing that he was sent to the game itself.
He was sleeping inside a basket and felt that he was indeed small. Thunder rumbled outside and he was being carried into his mother's arms.
She panted while running and splashes of water was heard as she stepped on some puddles. She was running away from the pursuit of handful assassins. She was in the middle of the forest and the birds fluttered as she passed in their area. The storm brewed and the rain was getting heavier.
She was about to panic as they were getting nearer. Though after seeing a castle, she immediately went there and dropped her basket on the doorway.
She kissed the child inside and then wept.
"Mama will go now, I will come back to you when the time is right. Sorry dear," she sniffled and then kissed the hands of the child as she leaned closer.
The voices of assassins were being heard and so she has to divert them. "Bye child, I love you."
She then went to ran in the opposite direction and they chased after her.
Meanwhile, a man in his throne was sleeping. White hair was long enough to drop on the floor and his face perched on his arms while sleeping. He was woken up by the loud noise from the doorway and still, he opened his eyes calmly and then sighed.
The others inside the castle was rejoicing as they saw the child.
"Oh, a child?" A female smiled as she opened the door and saw the basket on the floor. "Hey, Thyriel, let's raise him."
Luckily, Rey could understand what they are talking. Even in this form. He was able to be sober and aware of what's happening. "I must be transmigrated. Wait, I know these guys! They are the Primordials of the Game Isekai RPG! I must be transmigrated into the game huh. Lucky! To find them here and be raised in their arms. I am a fan!"
"Other Primordials will agree right?" Another man said to her.
"Raphael, take him to Thyriel. He might wanna see him." she said to him and then handed him the kid.
The Thyriel was silent on his throne as Rechelle gave him the kid. Thyriel and the others looked at him and he giggled. There were 7 of them at the moment and were all Primordials.
"Hmmm, I will take care of him. Raise him like my own." He said in a cold voice.
The others went happily giggled. "Yes! For once, in the thousand years of being here and loneliness makes me feel weak. It is good to have a change of pace." He added.
"Good! We will be his parents!" Michael said to him. Others agreed with him speaking. He immediately went lifting the child and he giggled. Making them smile with his cuteness.
Soon after, they prepared to feed him. "Fetch me a Cow!" Thyriel commanded.
Soon after, Michael carried a cow on his shoulders and then put it on the floor.
Rey, who was inside this body of the kid was perplexed. He will drink from the tits of the said animal directly.
'Wait!!!! There is no milk bottle!? No!!!!!' Rey shouted in his mind.
"Wait, let us name him." Rechelle suggested.
"Rumiel or Rumie for short!" Reduciel replied.
"Rumiel, I like it!" Rechelle smiled.
