In this solar system there are about seven planets in existence. But only two, seem to hold life.
One, which is called ASTERIA, and the other, Nevana.
It's twice the size of our planet, and that's the reason its seems so close even from so far away.
I heard stories that our world was once that beautiful.
But it lost its beauty due to us.
The humans.
Technological advancement knew no bound.
No, it was more like we human had no restraint.
This is a world were heroism is a façade of insanity.
The means justify the ends.
Truth becomes heresy, and deceit and lies, appealing.
I never saw or believe the notion of existence of GOOD HUMANS.
Nothing of such exists, we all bear the gens of greed and a unquenchable taste for more.
We may deny it.
I once did.
But deep down we know who we are.
Technology grew so immensely that humans began sorting for something else.
Immortality.
Regeneration.
Control.
We took it so far that are a lot of things began going extinct.
Animals.
Forests.
The ozone layer.
And then.
Nature fought back.
Asteria was on the brink of extinction.
Oxygen grew more valuable than diamond.
Sold at an outrageously expensive price.
We needed oxygen to survive.
There was no other way.
When we saw no hope in reviving Asteria anymore, we began exploring Nevana.
But we found something which we would have never imagined existed.
The endless energy, Mana.
But.
We were not alone.
We were not safe.
For Nevana housed untold dangers.
Only the awakened....
... Could hope to ever escape Asteria.
