Chapter 1 - chapter 1- Beginnings

Hi, my name is Drew Theodore P. Lipsky, and I'm a reincarnated person.

Before you start imagining some old man trapped in a kid's body, let me set the record straight: I'm not.

I'm just a very mature five-year-old with a head full of knowledge I probably shouldn't have.

Sure, I know things that no kid my age should, like high school-level physics, college-level chemistry, and even some grad-school engineering concepts, but that doesn't make me an adult.

I still like cartoons, get excited about ice cream, and still like playing video games. I just happen to know how a nuclear reactor works, too.

Now, here's where it gets weird. I wasn't reincarnated into just any life. I woke up as Drew Lipsky. Yes, that Drew Lipsky the guy who grows up to become Dr. Drakken from Kim Possible. You know, the blue-skinned, bumbling supervillain who spends most of his life getting dunked on by a cheerleader.

Except here's the thing: none of that has happened yet. Right now, I'm just a regular five-year-old kid.

Kim Possible isn't even born yet, and Ron Stoppable is still years away from existence. As for Shego? I have no idea where or who she is right now. For all I know, she could be halfway across the world, completely unaware of the chaos her future self will bring.

And that's fine by me. It gives me plenty of time to figure out what the hell I'm going to do with this second chance at life.

The original Drew Lipsky was brilliant, but his ego, insecurities, and need for validation turned him into a punchline.

He wanted to be respected so badly that when people didn't take him seriously, he snapped and went full-on villain. The thing is, I don't want to be him. I don't want to be a joke.

At the same time, I'm not exactly dreaming of heroism, either. I don't have a burning desire to save the world or fight for justice.

What I do have is the knowledge and time to make something better of myself, to build a future where I'm not just some Saturday morning cartoon villain.

But I'm five. I'm tiny, uncoordinated, and, frankly, kind of useless right now. That's where the plan comes in.

Step 1: Build a solid foundation.

Sure, I've got the knowledge, but theory only gets you so far. If I'm going to turn that knowledge into real-world skills, I need to start practicing. That means convincing my parents to buy me a chemistry set, some basic tools, and maybe a robotics kit if I can swing it.

They already think I'm a "smart little boy" because I ask a lot of questions and read a lot of books. They have no idea that I'm secretly working on plans to make myself the smartest, most capable version of Drew Lipsky.

Step 2: Develop myself physically.

The original Drew Lipsky? A bit of a noodle. He relied entirely on his inventions and couldn't hold his own in a fight to save his life.

That's not going to be me. Obviously, I'm five, so I can't exactly hit the gym yet, but I'm starting small.

Playing outside, climbing trees, running around, stuff my parents think is just normal kid behavior. It's not much, but it's a start.

Step 3: Stay under the radar.

The original Drew craved recognition, and it drove him down a bad path. I'm not making that mistake. For now, I'm just going to act like a normal, slightly smart kid.

No one needs to know about the plans I'm slowly putting together or the projects I'm quietly working on. Let them think I'm just another five-year-old obsessed with cartoons and dinosaurs.

Step 4: Think long-term.

I don't have to decide who I want to be right now. Villain, hero, inventor, or something else entirely—that's a choice for later. For now, I'm just focused on building the skills and resources I'll need to succeed.

Whether that means building gadgets that change the world or inventing things that make me a fortune, I'll be ready when the time comes.

I've got time. The events of Kim Possible assuming they even happen the way I remember are still many years away.

Right now, the most complicated thing in my life is convincing my mom to let me stay up late to watch TV.

But make no mistake: Drew Lipsky 2.0 is going to be different. I'm not going to let myself become some bumbling villain who's the butt of every joke.

Whether I end up a hero, a villain, or something else entirely, one thing is certain this time, I'm going to make sure Drew Lipsky is a name people respect.

For now, though, I need to focus on baby steps. Like convincing my parents to get me that chemistry set I've been eyeing. One thing at a time.
