Author here 👋. I'm a new author who recently started writing for wish fulfillment. If you like it, enjoy it! Sorry for any spelling mistakes—English isn't my main language. 😅
Let's dive into our novel.
India—a vibrant tapestry of countless communities and hundreds of cultures. To anyone outside its borders, India likely stands out as the most culturally diverse nation, where traditions intertwine seamlessly. As one of the fastest-rising countries alongside China, India rightfully claims its place among the world's top ten powerhouses.
This story centers on Amar Khurana, a young man who just turned 18 a few days ago. On his way home from celebrating his final exams, he mutters to himself, "Finally, the 12th finals are done! I can take a rest now until college begins."
As he approaches the local metro station, waiting patiently for his train, a sudden shove jolts him from behind. Before he can react, Amar finds himself sprawled on the railway tracks. The metro train barrels toward him, and in a frantic attempt to escape, his leg becomes painfully ensnared in the rails. Panic sets in as he struggles, but fate seems unkind that day. And then...

His consciousness fades as his soul detaches from his body, drifting upward into the vast expanse of the sky.
Beyond the Veil
Time loses all meaning in the eternal darkness. Slowly, Amar's soul is drawn toward an enormous, enigmatic entity whose origin remains a mystery.
In this boundless void, concepts like time, space, up, down, left, or right cease to exist. The disorienting chaos threatens to drive any sane soul to the edge of insanity. Yet, amidst this tumult, the entity stands luminous and tranquil.
UNKNOWN ENTITY (ââꈜꁲꃔꀷꑀꑀꉣââ)
As Amar's soul drifts closer, he beholds a figure that defies all earthly comprehension. The entity radiates a soft, ethereal glow that illuminates the surrounding darkness, its form both majestic and enigmatic. Swirling patterns of light and shadow dance across its translucent surface, creating an ever-changing tapestry of colors that seem to pulse with life. Despite its immense power, there is an undeniable serenity in its presence, a calming aura that contrasts the surrounding chaos.
"To your soul, I offer a gift to renew your brightness. For the darkness you have consumed thus far, I grant you the opportunity to rekindle the light within and ascend to the status of a giant star," the entity declares.
With that, the entity sends Amar's soul spiraling into another living universe, guiding it along a predetermined path.
Awakening in a New World
After what feels like an eternity, Amar awakens with a jolt in his bed.
"Arghh! This splitting headache! You won't even let me sleep, huh?" he groans, clutching his head as he staggers toward the bathroom to wash his face.
Upon looking into the mirror, his eyes widen in disbelief. "WTF?? This isn't my face! No, no, no—this body isn't mine!" His initial shock morphs into anxiety as he takes in his unfamiliar reflection. Determined to make sense of his new reality, Amar begins searching his surroundings.
10 MINUTES LATER
He discovers several photos and ID cards. According to them, he is now a 23-year-old man living in Mumbai, the heart of Maharashtra, and employed by TECS, one of India's most prominent companies. His position? Customer Care Executive—a role that primarily involves handling customer calls.
As Amar delves deeper, he uncovers a startling truth: he is no longer on Earth but in an alternate reality known as ERTHA. In this world, both geological and political landscapes have undergone significant transformations. The outcomes of both world wars differ, leading to a global power shift. The dominant nations are now Reich, Polar Bear Country, Zhongguo, and Bharat.
Realization dawns on him—this isn't his universe. His mother, father, family, and friends are all gone. He has no idea where they might be or what happened to him after the railway incident. Most likely, he was lost to the world.
Taking a deep breath to steady himself, Amar tries to regain control.
"Amar, Amar, AMAR!! This is not the time to cry. Think, think, THINK!!" He inhales deeply. "OK, let's analyze—who am I now? My name is still Amar Khurana. It seems I still have parents in this world; at least I'm not adopted like the typical migrants in novels. That's one good thing. Next, let's check the date and time. This world should be about 2006 now. Except for the global land and power shifts, the rest of the major things are the same—the most expensive smartphone is still the pineapple, computers are unchanged, and there are pineapple and window gates. People are the same, just with slightly different names. India's current PM is Dr. Singh—still good. Top enterprises include Sharma Enterprises, a weapons manufacturer. The owner is Arjun Sharma—what the flip? Why does he look like Iron Man??? And there's Avani Sharma here, looking like Little Pepper..."
"Is this the wrong universe altogether? If it is, then I'm in danger—very, very big danger. Maybe even the Purple Potato THAKUR (Thanos) will come as well."
