Chapter 3 - WARNING

After that incident, Geum Jan-di walked home, got changed and smiled although while washing Kim Tae-hyun's jacket so she could return it to him the next day, after hanging it to dry, she went to her mom's store.

Geum Jan-di: umma, I'm back

Mrs. Geum: (cooking) how was school? Did you learn well?

Geum Jan-di: yes

Mrs. Geum: have you eaten?

Geum Jan-di: yes

Mrs. Geum: good, remember the house you delivered food to the other day?

Geum Jan-di: which one? I've delivered food to a lot of people in this neighbourhood

Mrs. Geum: the one who tipped us highly, the one who stays at a mansion

Geum Jan-di: [that horrible person] yes, what about it?

Mrs. Geum: (gives her an order) deliver the food to that same house and what ever magic you worked that day, do it again so he can tip us well (goes inside the storage room)

Geum Jan-di: [I might explode after seeing Eun-woo, well, this is a nice opportunity to pay him back the tip he tipped us, my entire savings is going down] (she then went to his mansion and made way to the living room to deliver the food where she met him the other time)

Eun-woo: oh, you're here? I hope you didn't mess up the order like last time, I expect you to though since you're useless

Geum Jan-di: he really is getting on my nerves

Eun-woo: what did you say?

Geum Jan-di: I said you really are getting on my nerves

Eun-woo: what a temper, should I report to customer's service?

Geum Jan-di: (drops the food on the table and put some cash back) I already told you, I don't need your stupid tips, I could take from anyone else but not you, don't ever tip us again, so pay me my money instead of wasting my time . I prefer you don't order from us again

Eun-woo: and what if I don't pay

Geum Jan-di: have it your way then, I'm sick of you, first you try to kill me, next you annoy me, then you splash water on my uniform, are you....

Eun-woo: yes I did, it was revenge for disturbing me from carrying out punishment.

Geum Jan-di: and there he goes again cutting me shut, now are see how irresponsible and ill-mannered you are, if you don't pay, it's fine, I'll pay it myself [gosh, I've got no money left, I need to keep my steeze] I hate you

She dressed in a sleek mini skirt and a fitted crop top, accentuating her features with meticulous makeup. Her long, straight hair cascaded down her back, and the sweet, floral aroma of her perfume - reminiscent of roses - lingered in the air. Her polished appearance exuded luxury and refinement)

Geum Jan-di: (leaves)

Han-bi: who's she?

Eun-woo: she's not important, just a waste of time and effort. Why have you come?

Han-bi: you haven't been picking my calls

Eun-woo: oh, you should have gotten the message by now

Han-bi: message? You didn't send me any message on my phone

Eun-woo: the message is that I want to be alone right now so leave, get out

Han-bi: Eun-woo, you shouldn't...

Eun-woo: I need some time to cool off, leave (sits) or I'll break up with you

Han-bi: fine (leaves)

Geum Jan-di: (she was riding her bicycle angrily as she felt like beating the life out of Eun-woo and simultaneously was thinking about how she was going to pay her mom for the meal, soon she reached the store) umma, I have something to tell you about the money for the meal I delivered.....I

Mrs. Geum: you what? Actually you really did deem yourself, he transferred the money and this time, he tipped me twice the previous amount, so what do you have to say

Geum Jan-di: I was going to tell you that he transfered it

Mrs. Geum: alright, customers like him are what I really do need

Geum Jan-di: [he doubled it? How will I pay up this time, customers like him are who I really do hate, if he keeps this up I'll need to get a part time job to keep paying, besides, I need some money to buy some stuffs I don't think umma will release money for]

The next day at school, Geum Jan-di was busy solving some maths problem on her seat when suddenly all the girls rushed out and started chanting, Eun-woo was walking in with Han-bi by his side while holding hands

Girls: awwwwnnn.

Geum Jan-di: I'm really tired of this, gosh, if only Ji-hoon was here, gosh, this is a school not a.....forget it (continues writing)

Eun-woo: (walks into class and sits down)

Geum Jan-di: I hate this

Eun-woo: what? The fact that girls and chanting for me an I'm not looking at your way, the fact that I'm walking in with another woman aside you?

Geum Jan-di: you wish, no way, I hate the fact that you keep tipping us, I asked you not to pay, okay fine, you paid, I asked you not to tip us but instead you didn't just tip us, you doubled the amount, stop this.

Eun-woo: I really can't stop, I'm not a beggar like you who'll eat one's food without paying, it you think you can keep paying then do, I'll don't even need to accept money from a beggar

Geum Jan-di: gosh, I hate you so bad, now I'm a beggar? Stop ordering (continues solving)

Kim Tae-hyun: (he then walked into the class to meet his friend) sup my man?

Geum Jan-di: (she noticed him the took out his jacket from her bag, it was in a white portable bag, after which she went to meet him) Kim Tae-hyun

Kim Tae-hyun: hey, heroine, how're you doing?

Geum Jan-di: [you're the hero for saving me yesterday] thank you so much for yesterday, I checked around for you but couldn't find you, have this (gives him the bag)

Kim Tae-hyun: oh, I totally forgot about it

Geum Jan-di: (notices him putting on a new jacket) you seem to have a lot

Kim Tae-hyun: well actually, you can have it if you want, I do have a enough (he then stroke her hair and left)

Geum Jan-di: (she went back to her seat and sat down)

Eun-woo: you're strange

After that class, the next class was sport activities, they were playing volleyball, boys were playing on one side while girls were playing the other side, they were dressed in their tracksuit

Girl: just look at Eun-woo playing, so cool

Girl 2: just look at Kim Tae-hyun, it's like heaven, two of the most popular boys in school are playing, I'm so happy, I'll savor this moment

Geum Jan-di: [how weird] (stretches) [I'm starving, I need to think of a way to get that part time job, I really won't lose] (after playing for a long time, a girl mistakenly slipped and fell to the ground staining Eun-woo's tracksuit)

Hana: I'm very sorry

Eun-woo: I hate getting my clothes stained, hey, are you blind?

Hana: I'm sorry, my glasses fell off so I couldn't see a thing

Eun-woo: as expected foureyes, you'll have to pay for this, you'll get into detention for this, right now? (Grabs her hands forcefully)

Geum Jan-di: (she then threw a ball which hit his head painfully making him crash into the ground) hey, you have no right to grab a lady's hands like that, you shouldn't.....

Eun-woo: who are you to tell me what to do? Miss noisy

Geum Jan-di: what? (Suddenly, a girl poured a bucket of water on her, it was Han-bi) OMG

Han-bi: why are you being so noisy, she ruined his dress

All: woah

Geum Jan-di: and you just did the same thing, you just ruined my clothes

Han-bi: what is the big deal about getting drenched, you mess with Eun-woo, you mess with me

Geum Jan-di:

Hana: I'm so sorry, thus would never have happened if I hadn't stained his tracksuit

Geum Jan-di: it's okay

Han-bi: no, this never would had happened if she had mind her business, I guess this is the way low class citizens are like, it's probably you mom who raise you like this, she's.....(Geum Jan-di interrupted her with fist clashing her face, she left her with a double nose bleed as she fell to the ground) gosh

Geum Jan-di: you know, I'll take it if you insult me from now to tomorrow but not my mother, I've been too quiet, no one insults her, you question my upbringing, have you ever thought about how much of a jerk you guys are? (she then stumped away, making her way to the girl's washroom). I hate this school, in fact, I hate this city

Hana: (walks in) I'm so sorry, thank you for having my back, you were so cool out there, a lot of us often get bullied here but you stood your ground

Geum Jan-di: thanks . You know, you reminded me of someone I used to know

Hana: can we be friends from now on?

Geum Jan-di: sure [my first class friend in SHA)

Hana: I'll dry your hair up for you, I got some extra clothes from the store room, you could really use this (gives it to her)

Geum Jan-di: [I've really been borrowing clothes a lot lately ] thanks

After that incident, Geum Jan-di changed into fresh clothes and went to class, after much teaching and learning, school finally ended, Geum Jan-di happily took her bag, wore her earpiece and connected it to her phone, she switched on some cool music, after which she decided to make her way home, she was strolling down the street to her house.

Geum Jan-di: I'm hungry and I really need that job, I saw some vacant job on the newspaper down the block, I'll check it, I don't know how umma will feel about it, I'll just do it secretly, yes (she then changed into her casual clothes and went to one of the stores with vacant job, it was a cake and tea store, when she went in, she saw Eun-woo eating with Han-bi while talking, they seemed to be talking about something) [normally, after seeing them, I'd just walk away but i really need this job and I'll have to get it, I won't let them spoil my mood, besides Ji-Yoon tells me to stand up to my problem]

Eun-woo: (eating) so what did you want me to do about it?

Han-bi: you know, I feel like I don't matter this days, you shouldn't have stood still, you should have done something

Eun-woo: like what?

Han-bi: I defended you by drenching her and she got me a bloody nose, you should get her expelled, I hate her and I don't want to ever see her.

Eun-woo: I've got no business with her besides I hate her, if you want her expelled, I'll get her expelled, just watch

Jan-di: I contacted the manager before and he asked for an interview, I'll just ring him up (calls him) he's not picking, fine, I'll just leave and come back tomorrow (when she was about leaving, Han-bi called her name, she then walked up to her along side with Eun-woo)

Han-bi: Jan-di, that's your name, right?

Jan-di: what do you want now, you guys are disgusting, I was about leaving by the way (while leaving, she mistakenly dropped her necklace)

Han-bi: I hate her, I'll see you at the car (leaves)

Eun-woo: (picks up the necklace and puts it in his pocket) perfect

The next morning, at school, Jan-di was so worried as she was busy thinking about her necklace, she searched the whole place if she mistakenly dropped it but it was to no avail. They were in the classroom, the period had just ended and the break time bell had just been rung, the teacher left the class, only a few student were left in the class along with Jan-di and Eun-woo

Jan-di: where did it go?

Eun-woo: Jan-di?

Jan-di: what do you want from me right now, you should..m

Eun-woo: step out for a bit (leaves)

Jan-di: look at him, he always keep interrupting me, how annoying (she went to meet him, she found him holding her necklace). What are you doing with it?

Eun-woo: of what value does this holds

Jan-di: it was given to me by a special friend of mine who I might never see again . Give it back [he found it and want to return it? Oh, maybe he has changed]

Eun-woo: oh (he then threw it out the window)

Jan-di: why do you always do that? do you always enjoy me being angry?

Eun-woo: (he then cornered her having nowhere to escape) yes, I do enjoy seeing you angry, it's like cinema and makes me happy but however I do not care about you, I hate you, this is your final warning, Geum Jan-di

Geum Jan-di:

Eun-woo: don't you dare butt into my business again or I might forget you're a girl because I've got no exception, I regret the day I met you and I wish you never existed in this school, you'll be called soon, you're going to be suspended, next, you'll be expelled, I'll teach you a lesson that you're just a low class citizen who tries to prove worthy but isn't, stay out of my business (walks away)

Geum Jan-di: (speechless) [suspended? What is he talking about, was that a threat?]
