Reese's POV

Pain....it...h..urts.

I could feel the excruciating pain of being burnt. I could not see in thick smokes that covered everything. It was dark. Then I closed my eyes and fell asleep.

Then I opened my eyes. What was going on? Did I not die?

I checked around and found out that I was in a room that looked bad. The bed I slept on...then I suddenly looked.

What bed? I was sleeping on the floor with a tattered cloth used to cover me. What was going on? I stood up and went outside. I saw that there was no one outside. I went out and I felt excruciating pain. It was like the time when my so called friends burned me to death.

I quickly rushed inside and looked at my hand. It was burnt to crisp. Suddenly it healed by itself. I wasn't surprised because I came from the apocalypse where there are a lot of power.

But I died and I woke up in another person's body and this does not look like earth. And why did I burn because I went outside. Then a thought came to me

'What if the sun was the cause of my hand getting burnt and that was why no one was outside?' I was so happy because I think I got the answer. But wait. What am I then?
