(2212 - October the 4th, Sunday: Location - Japan - Secluded small villa in the outskirts of Musutafu - Musutafu City)
After Shinra had his talk with Izuku, they made their way outside to the backyard where Inko had been the whole time, setting up what looked to be picnic near the forest of their house, and that made Izuku delighted. He loved it when they had picnics outside, it was always so fun just watching the scenery and spending time with his parents like this.
Izuku quickly rushed of towards his mother and gave her a big hug, Inko a little startled by how energetic he was, gave her husband a questioning look. But Shinra simply just smiled at her indicating that he would tell her later about what exactly happened. Inko just shrugged and hugged Izuku back.
So finally, they family sat down together and began chatting, laughing, eating and just having fun, this day would certainly leave a huge mark on Izuku, weather that be good, bad or both.

A little while later, after the family of 3 had their fun, and ate delicious snacks, courtesy of Inko of course, Shinra backend Inko to come closer. Once she did, Shinra whispered something in her ear and then stood up, telling Izuku who had been distracted by what looked to be rabbit, that she was going in the house to quickly get something, Izuku just nodded absent mindedly as Inko made her way towards the house.
Once Inko was inside the house, Shinra spoke up. "Hey bud, what you thinking while staring at that rabbit?" Izuku, still focused on the rabbit just simply said. "That it's cool." Shinra didn't ask why and simply stayed silent waiting for Izuku to explain. "I think the rabbit is cool because it reminds me if you Dad, the way it uses it legs to hop and move around."
Shinra just laughed at that, his son was basically telling him he was a rabbit which was funny in his opinion. "Izuku, do you still remember the prayer I told you about?" Izuku looked at his Dad and nodded before saying. "Yeah, it was 'The flame is the soul's breath... The black smoke is the soul's release... Ashes thou wert and art... May thy soul return to the great flame of fire. Latom.' Right Dad?" Shinra nodded and then told Izuku to mimic his hands. "Okay Izuku, now bring your palms together, with your fingers fully extended and slightly curved so that your palms make an O shape and bend your thumbs inwards like this."
Izuku carefully mimicked his father's hand movements and got it right, Shinra nodded in approval and then said. "Good, now Izuku, I know your young, but I know your extremely smart and mature for your age. So I'm going to teach you something important about being a hero."
Izuku, still with his hands in the prayer sign, nodded and payed close attention to what his father was about to tell him. "...Izuku, it's a hero's job to save and protect people... It's not for money, fame or glory, it is simply for the fact to save people, weather they are human or not, and that means not only saving them from harm physically, but also emotionally... But... that also means that sometimes you have to take a life, because sometimes it's necessary. Sometimes, the only way you can save a person.... is by taking their life. So when that time comes, remember to pray for them by saying 'The flame is the soul's breath... The black smoke is the soul's release... Ashes thou wert and art... May thy soul return to the great flame of fire. Latom.' and making the prayer sign I showed you, so that their soul may rest."
Shinra looked at his son, expecting him to be mortified by that, but instead, all he saw in those big green eyes, were understanding, determination and sadness. Izuku, understood what his father ment and he didn't like it, yet he still said. "I understand Dad, it hurts thinking that I'll have to one day take a life, but... I'll hold onto this pain I feel, because I believe, the worst thing you could do, and the worst thing the hero job can make you do.... Is make you numb to it."
Izuku said while giving his father the biggest smile he could. And in that moment, Shinra remembered the words of his captain from [Fire Company 8], bringing a tear to his eye, but a happy tear. Shinra just hugged his son, happy to have had a chance to witness such moment again, even if it was one that brought pain to his heart.
Just then, Inko returned with a box in her hand and said. "Shinra, I brought it." Shinra thanked his wife and carefully and lovingly took the box from her in such a way that it made her jealous. Shinra just rolled his eyes at her before turning to Izuku and giving him the box.
Izuku, looking confused, took the box and opened it. The box contained 2 things, a cross with all side's the same length, and a badge with the number 8, and the words 'Fire Force' and 'Tokyo'. Izuku's hands trembled as he reslized that this was what his father was talking about at breakfast, he looked at his father and asked. "D-dad? A-are you sure you want me to have this?"
"Of course, let them be your symbols of hope from now on." Izuku went to go hug his dad, but a sudden mist like portal appearing out of no where stopped the Kusakabe family in their tracks.
"Well, well, well. You're a surprisingly hard person to find {Devil's Smile} the symbol of {HOPE}, your house was stationed here all this time, yet no one knew about it... Mmmmm, I see know, looks like you've had the help of many different supernatural faction's, the hero commission and even then king of the universe... Well, king of the non-supernatural univers that is, still non the less. It seems like you have quite the people supporting you eh?" The mysterious figure said whilst stepping out of the mist like portal. He was a towering man with a powerfully muscular physique, imposing features, short white hair, and faded red eyes that showed no sense of feelings and wore a dark suit over a white shirt.
*"Shigaraki"* Shinra spat out the name as if he ate dog shit mixed with skunk piss. Shigaraki just laughed at that and said. "HAHAHAHA! Please, you know I do not go by that name anymore, call me All For One or AFO if you will." The man said with a sickening grin.
Shinra stood protectively in front of Inko and Izuku. Izuku looked extremely pale and on the verge of passing out because of the sickening aure AFO was emitting from his body, he felt like he was going to die and his mom didn't look like she was fairing any better.
Shinra seeing this, held out his and towards them and muttered 'Benedictio praesidii', casting a protective barrier around, but it made Shinra shiver in disgust while saying. "Ughh, I hate using magic since the foreign energy of mana feels gross in my body."
AFO seeing this clapped his hands while saying. "Good, very good, it would be very entertaining to fight you, now that I know you can use magic, but my goal today is to kill you, so unfortunately I can't do fight you."
Shinra felt sick hearing that, it was the easy going way that he said, he was confident, but not overly so, plus, that weird mist portal was still open, so he didn't know what AFO had planned but before he could ponder more about it....
*Blugghhhh* Blood spewed out of his mouth while a strange sword was sticking out of his chest as he fell to one knee. ""DAD/SHINRA!!!"" Izuku and his mother both screamed while mortified.
"How do you like my gift? I went through great lengths to find that sword, the {Artemis Blade} it's a Top-Tier ranked weapon, and that's not all, I also prepared this!"
After AFO said, group of strange men in robes walked out the portal along with a fallen angel and immediately began chanting and after a few seconds they screamed {*""Daemonium Bomb!!""*} And suddenly a huge ball of what seemed to golden and dark light appeared and was heading towards Shinra.
Time seemed to slow down for Izuku as he felt that whatever was heading their way was extremely dangerous or well, for him and his dad.... Yet, why did he want to do something, he was safe in the barrier his dad created, but his dad wasn't in the barrier, logically he should stay put, but... But... BUT! 'Let go~' 'You must protect~'
He didn't know where those whispers came from, but it made something in him snap.... *BOOM!* Green flames erupted from out his feet as he went flying straight towards his father whilst also break the protective barrier *CRACK!* *SWOOSH* Izuku soared through the air and did a mid air flip over his father so that his feet were pointed towards the spell an then he let out a torrent of green blackish flames that started burning the spell.
But alas, the spell moved to quickly for Izuku's flames to burn them completely and eventually the spell broke through and hit Izuku square in the chest. "AHHHHHHHHHGGGGGGGGGGGG!! IT HURTS! IT HURTSSSSS!!" *Crash* Izuku screamed as he was flung through the air and crashed against a tree, barely conscious. The fallen angel that came along with the strange men, prepared to move towards the child to finish him off, but AFO stopped the fallen and said. "Mmmm, interesting, I was told the child had no form of power or special lineage... It seems even the good doctor can make mistakes sometimes..." AFO then turned to the men and the fallen. "That child is young and yet already powerful enough to somewhat weaken and stop a variation of the concept of destruction that aims to destroy demons and survived a head on plast of it."
AFO then gave the child a wicked smile and said. "It'll be fun to torture and brainwash that child into becoming my hunting dog like I did with Gigantomachia... Take hik to the good doctor once all this is finished." He told the people in robes as well as the fallen. "Kurogiri, warp his mother away to somewhere no one can find her, she might... Be able to be of use in the future."
*"As you wish master."* The misty portal spoke as it took a humanoid form and warped Inko away. "MOMMMMM!!" Izuku cried in despair but then he heard it, a sweet yet twisted sweet voice. 'Let go~' Let's become one~' And so, he did.
Izuku's skin suddenly started to turn green while strange marking started to appear as well as horns and a huge smile started to appear on his face, it almost seemed devilish, Izuku the said."AFO!! I'LL DESTROY YO-"
Izuku was cut off by a golden red chain wrapping around him, returning him to normal and leaving him motionless. *Clap* ... *Clap*... *Clap*... AFO slow clapped while making his way towards Izuku. "Mmmm, it seems my theory was correct Shinra, you really were a god, and it seems your son is similar to one, his not a god, but also not a demi-god and isn't just part god, mmmmm strange."
Shinra, who had been silent all this time because of how weak the {Artemis Blade} made him, and because of the blood in his mouth, could only muster one word. "H-how?" AFO gained a huge smile and said. "I'm glad you asked, see these chains on your son? Their the god sealing heavenly chains {Enkidu}, but that's not all. You see, I managed to get my hand on 2 scales from both the {Heavenly Dragons}, and combined them with the chains, so the chain's sealing abilities are not only boosted, but also more potent. And I only brought it incase one of your god friends became awere of the situation and tried to save you, but it seems that was not needed, but instead, it proved my theory right. But.." AFO slowly made his way towards Shinra and but a hand on the mans head and continuing. "You won't be able to tell anyone about this, since you'll be dead... Goodbye Shinra Kusakabe.... <[iustum Occisio]>"
Before the spell took effect, shinra managed to say one more word. "I-izu" was all he managed to say before the spell took charge and killed him, leaving him nothing more then a corpse. "Kurogiri, open up a portal." Kurogiri did just that as AFO began making his way towards the portal, but then, izuku caught his eye. "Mmmm, child, why are you smiling?.... Ah I see, you've developed nervous laughter, how interesting, your just like your father, a devil in human skin, but useless devil." AFO commented while walking away, Izuku just layed there crying even tho no sound came out and while a massive grin was plastered on his face.
The fallen walked over to the child and picked him up to send him to the good doctor. And so, it was a joyous moment for AFO, but for izuku, it was nothing but despair and hopelessness. And now, he's finally lost hope once again.
